I jumped from lineage os 15 to 17.1
audio isnt working and i believe it is because i am still on 50.1 firmware.
Where can i find a 50.2 firmware file for h3223 and what is the method for installation?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Xperifirm has the firmware you need. You can download it, then decrypt it with flashtool then install with newflasher.

For whatever reason sony doesn't provide a driver for this model. You have to use the XZ2 driver. I have an H3123 and that's what I use.

All the credits for DooMLoRD, I just adapted your tutorial for C6503.
Original Post
I just tested it with Brazilian C6503.
Probably works with other models
How to:
Download the two files from the download section below, and DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.zip in Original Post.
Open FlashTool and flash the C6503_10.3.A.0.423_MEA.ftf file, this is JUST the kernel of an older firmware which was rootable.
Now once flashing is done reboot device and connect to PC in usb debuggin mode.
CLOSE FLASHTOOL
Extract the file DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.zip (Downloaded in Original Post) to root directory on c:\
Execute runme_ file corresponding to your OS on desktop PC, this will execute a SPECIAL version of DooMLoRD easy rooting toolkit.
The above step is crucial! if you use any older version of the toolkit then IT WILL NOT WORK!
After rooting is over the device will restart.
You can verify if device is rooted by checking for SuperSU app (it is the newest version).
Once thats done now power down device and open FlashTool again.
Now flash C6503_10.3.1.A.0.244_DE.ftf file to get back to the true kernel for the firmware.
Thats it after flashing is done just disconnect and power on device and enjoy rooted phone!

No, you don't need to unlocked first
The other method just flash full .423 firmware then used v18 rootkit to root the device then install .244over the air (OTA) which I tested and worked.

No, for stock firmware you can just use this (easier) method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472
Then just over-the-air update to get latest firmware

Hello there,
I see that there are already some threads about that but i'm a little bit confused. Can please someone posts clear instructions and links for the tools needed in order to downgrade my xperia M5 to lollipop?
So you need to download the latest version of flashtool from www.flashtool.net then look up your m5's model (eg. E5603, E5606, E5653) and download the software from http://www.xperiablog.net/forum/resources/categories/2015-xperia-range.73/ here (generic just means not set to a specific carrier and it doesnt matter about the country), then click the lightning button in flashtool and select flash mode then select your software and then follow the instructions
Thanks very much for the instructions. I also combined some guides found on the internet and performed the downgrade. You should download the firmware via xperifirm, bundle it in flashtool and then flash it.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share stock nougat kernel(32.3.A.0.372 Customized IN) patched which has DM-Verity, DRM fix and can be used to root. I have successfully rooted my device using the steps explained by @serajr here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70595975&postcount=1702
Currently there is no way to get TWRP and disable Sony RIC.
For TWRP, use below fast boot command to boot temporarily and do whatever you want.
For disabling Sony RIC and get write access to system, use root explorer or any other apps which is similar, and edit the follow file /sys/kernel/security/sony_ric/enable to '0' when you want to modify any system files or folders.
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES.
Steps To root device:
1) Boot any stock patched kernel (boot.img) with TWRP from Marshmallow or Zach's kernel using following fast boot command and access TWRP while booting using Volume Up button.
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
2) Flash attached zip
3) Flash latest supersu zip
4) Turn off, and boot your device normally
Hope this helps someone.
Please say thanks if this helped you.
Thank you.
Credits: @serajr, for guide to patch nougat kernel
@tobias.waldvogel, for his amazing tool.

Have just one question. Do we install 32.3.0.A.372 (nougat) using flashtool, or is there a flashable zip for twrp?!
I'm presently rooted with twrp on stock marshmallow.

Yes, if you follow the guide I linked or used my kernel.
Here's the dual sim, tested and working
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7yqhIuaJsyNUmJtX0d1V3ZvMlk/view?usp=drivesdk
Cannot boot MM Kernel using fastboot command. Also tried flashing but doesnt work
FYI
I'm Using Single-Sim Version of the kernel "Z4_Z3P_SK_Permissive_v5.11_III.2_4_7_ctl_X_iv y"
Also using Flashtool 0.9.23.2
I'm on 32.3.A.0.372, Updated via OTA on phone. After Flashing 32.2.A.5.11 from xperifirm
Bootloader still reports UNLOCKED
Please Help
UPDATE: Just had to Disable Xperia MyProtection. It got activated by itself after OTA
I try it but my phone not root, open superus show notification "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it". Please Help
DRM fix doesn't work. XReality (among other things I assume) are ever disabled.
On Marshmallow DRM fix was working fine (was using XReality engine despite the unlocked bootloader)
