Hi,
After updating to Gingerbread 2.3.3, build 2.36.405.8, the headset controls (rew, fwd, play) stopped working. Altough I have selected in my music application, Poweramp to be the primary app, which should be able to control the headset buttons, I don't get any action, not even on the HTC music app.
At first it worked but it was a bit laggy and now is not working at all. Is this problem related to any other app I have installed?
If I have to do a factory reset...how can I do that?
Thanks in advance for help
try setting power amp not to control the headphone controller, save these settings and then re-apply the ability to control the headphones, worked for me, although eventually I dropped PowerAmp and tried Winamp for Android, really awesome.
Thanks for support, tryed it and didn't work. I think it might be a hardware problem with the buttons. I'm gonna test the headset an another phone to be sure. Will keep you updated Does anybody know if the service guarantee includes also the repair of the headset?
Hello there. have a nice day. In my car listening to music with poweramp does not turn off during the phone call with bluetooth. So the music doesn't stop. I have activated the bluetooth option but still continue. I use in the car radio, dasaita px3 and 7.1.2 Android version. v2.95 mcu version.
Hello, I have the same problem as described by you...
Did you find a solution?
solved with new update. I am using the beta version.
Hello,
As far I have learned from this forum about my PX3 i don't know how my HU is managing with audio streaming. I've recently made update from Malaysk 4.1 to 5.2, but thats no ROM issue (i think) So here we go:
All options with the same system volume level!
Navigation setting in system settings set to "Mixing" and "mixing ratio" at 10 and IGO itself setting on max volume (for all the time without any changes).
1. When radio app is off and IGO navi on, prompts can be heard from all speakers loud enough.
2. When radio plays and IGO on, voice prompts can be heard from front speakers only and are quieter than radio itself. Turning radio app off, voice of IGO can be heard again from all speakers and louder.
3. With Music player on, source USB drive, music is significant quieter in compare with radio.
4. With that quieter music from USB, IGO voice becomes louder approx. double than music player, so when You listen to music on road with volume up, IGO can blast ears/mind.
The most strange thing is difference between point no1 and no2. With changes of firmware it didn't change nothing.
Any suggestions?
Hi Everyone!
I bought a cihnese head unit recently and all is working so far, but the navigation voice is controlled with the system sound settings, so if I turn de wolume down I also turn down the volume of the gps and I can not hear the voice of the lady / gentleman who tells me which way sould I go. I serached a lot, and found some very old (six years) solutions and new ones, but none of them work. I tried to volume up when the gps is speaking, I tried to switch Sygic to bluetooth then turn up the bt volume at the units factory settings. So as far as I know the gps navi sound and my system sound (which controlls the music loudness) is bind together and sadly the gps volume is too low. Maybe I missing something. I think this is an importatn feature, but my headunit does not have that. Can you guys give some new advices? It is an octacore android 8.0 if this matters.
Thank you in advance!
I have the same issue... Like Heptameron, I did not find any solution ! Can anyone help us with some advice?
Thanks !
Nobody ???
Same here, can't separate the two volumes.
Thought I had turned GPS voice up but then blew myself out of the window when I enabled the FM Tuner!
Spent hours on this.
"Latest" Chinese Android 10. head unit and IGO GPS. Not connected to my phone. Want it "simple" for now!
Anybody?
Hello everyone,
I have two questions regarding my head unit looking for your help.
I've been using the head unit XTRONS PB78TRVP for almost one year on my VW and since new I have been noticing that I am unable to control the audio volume balanced with all the apps, specially while using the radio.
The issue is that while using broadcast radio, the audio volume is too high, not balanced with the rest of the multitasking applications running in parallel.
As an example, if the audio volume while playing a radio station is set two 4, the GPS application volume when pops an audio message can't be heard as the GPS application message is very low, even if the music from the radio is temperarly muted while audio played from GPS is being heard.
This behaviour is the same independent from what GPS application is being used.
Remembering that this is happening only when using the radio as if the music is being played from an MP3 list or CD/DVD, the audi volume is balanced with the rest of the applications (including phone).
This head unit has currently installed Android 8.0. Is it possible to be upgraded?
Thanks in advanced.
Hello,
Isn't there anyone capable to help me?
Thanks

Hi. I have the same unit. Go to settings, Car setting, Factory settings and type 126 for the pin. This will take you to hidden settings where levels can be adjusted.
