Erisin Android Mercedes w220, no backlight keys - MTCB Android Head Units Q&A

Hi to all.
I have a problem with the Android radio for the Mercedes W220. Erisin company, motherboard KGL-6188-MAIN1-V8.2. The key backlight does not work.
The part that controls it is damaged. In the picture I have marked the red dot. Picture attached. Does anyone know what part this is? Only the DM inscription can be seen.

Do you resolve thi problem?

Yes, I fixed the radio. I fixed it differently. I connected the backlight diodes directly to the 5V stabilizer through a resistor. Works well.

i have the same problem on fiat bravo car stereo. the key illumination transisor has blown. you no longer read the code but it should be dmb f7. I can't find it for sale

This is some Chinese transistor, I also did not find a replacement, the marking says nothing. Do as I do, the solution is above.

Same situation here on a KLG-6188-MAIN1-V8.1 mainboard. I cleaned up all around burned area, a lot of components are missing. I am looking for the schema of the main board. Perhaps on russian forum I would find.

@elman2020 , could you post a picture of your fix or a schema please? thank you.

What is that small silver block for, and what do I use to reattach it? Solder?
Thanks!
ok, after more research (thanks to the repair manual which I've attached) I've figured out what this component is called, but still no idea what it is for. Looks like there are 2 of these, one on each side of the motherboard, so if it's not necessary I can live without it.
Component is called "Filter 0.0 Hz 0402", what is that for?
The manual also says to remove/mount using Hot Air, but this is territory I don't have experience with. Do I need some kind of glue/paste to spread before using a heat gun to remount it?
Err I think it's a microphone.
Ok, yeah, I have figured out it's a microphone, and it seems to be the primary one facing in (positioned in the spot where your mouth would be when you talk on the phone), with the secondary facing out for when recording video...
Which brings up the question, how do I mount it? I'm being told that the for "pegs" of the microphone need to remain separately attached to the MB, so some glue wouldn't work since that would make it one big connection like a heatsink. Any ideas?

[Q] Motherboard Component ID

Hi guys,
My Verizon G3 took a dive out the car window and needs help. I bought a replacement screen, and I believe it probably works, but I'm not getting any image. I then noticed that there is a small component on the board that is broken. I was hoping someone could help me identify the part number. It is a small black piece right above the battery and below the ambient light sensor. I found the G3 service manual, and it says the part is U7303, but I am unable to find that anywhere, so I hoped there might be a number on the component itself that I could look up. Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi,
i think you will not get this part anywhere to buy, because it is integrated on motherboard. I recommend you to get a new motherboard or to find a broken G3 with working motherboard.
This is my choice good luck.

Yeah I think that's my option at this point.. I did find a snippet that refers to U7303 as a fixed positive LDO regulator, rp103k121d-tr part number, but there's not really anywhere I can buy that from without going in bulk lol.

Does anybody know what this connector is for?

Opened an M8 to find this (circled and with the red arrow pointing at it) disconnected:

it connects to the bigger motherboard ( the one with the cpu and other stuff) connect the two wires so they dont cross each other
Thanks but that doesn't answer the question.
It's connecting the daughter board to the mother board.
It's hard to tell what it does exactly without proper documentation, you could unplug them, power on the phone and see what doesn't work.
If I had to take a guess then I'd say they might be connectors for the antenna or gps.
Thanks. I think you are right. I got a second M8 from Amazon and GPS hasn't working. When I opened it I found that disconnected at the MB end. Connecting it and powering the phone up resulted in a GPS that locks.
I thought it was for the SD card, mine stopped working after i had replaced the screen and didnt know why, when i disassembled it again to check this wire (or the one next to it) was popped off the connector.
I always thought GPS was the little tab on the very top that touches the frame once assembled (unless that is just to use the frame as an aerial)

Board upgrade: PX3 MTCD KBT 2.61 (Eonon GA8166A)

Hi,
I posted this in the Android Auto General yesterday - but that might have been the wrong forum. Please forgive me for the doublepost.
I´m having issues with an old Eonon GA8166A unit in a BMW X5 E53 where the Bluetooth is very unstable (does not work when the unit is cold and only intermittent after multiple restarts when the unit is warm).
Since the unit is discontinued and out of warranty I´m wondering if it is possible to replace the motherboard and/or bluetooth module on this unit? I believe it is a px3 board with android 7.1.2 and MTCD KBT 2.61.
Maybe it is possible to upgrade to a newer board with better cpu/ram (maybe a PX6?) while still maintaining the integration with car system (canbus).
From other threads it appears a new firmware (MTCE KBT 3.3) is recommended before changing the board. I cant´t seem to find newer KBT firmwares though. I have browsed the Yandex disk but can´t find the KBT version.
Any help or suggestions for boards that will work for my unit would be greatly appreciated.
