Is it possible someone to hack the stock camera.apk for ICS to record videos like the mod from potatoman(potatoman) or Hyperx(HyperX)?
nobody seems to be interested to do that... i hope that somebody will do something in the near future!
There's no need hack the camera app, the ICS update from Samsung improved the video recording.

After the update, the Samsung Galaxy S II records stereo sound at about 130Kbps of bitrate and 48KHz sampling rate (it used to be mono at 60Kbps/48KHz).

for me camera quality in ICS is still bad. yes they have improved audio to 122kbps Stereo but with a mod like HX MOD you go with 30Mega bitrate and 192kbp. different ah?

Set your region to USA, the audio volume is terribly low if you set it to Europe.

I received May update on my Samsung S20 SM-G981U1 (build G981U1UES2DUD4) and saw online (yeah, I know...) that the Dual Recording option has been added as well but I don't see it on my camera. Anyone else has it on their S20?
