[Q] Headphone Volume and other things

I have got the Galaxy S4 and with the Headphone Volume Mod I am satisfied with the sound.
Without the Volume Mod it is OK, but we are at the beginning, the Oppo can be rooted without a problem so I think there will be a solution sometime..
At the beginning many people had problems with "crackling" sound with the galaxy.
My short question: How is the Oppo Find 7 volume compared to the Galaxy S4 (EU stock firmware)
There are some sound enhancers build in the Oppo.
If there is someone else using the Oppo and listening to music via headphones, please tell me what you think!!
I ordered it anyway, but a first hand info would be nice.

Audio is very good & loud using the MaxxAudio plugin on stock music player - using with Bose IE2 audio headphones (This is on a Find 7a but probably same on the 7)

Actually i have another Mi max which i brought 3 months earlier. And Rom is Miui global 7.3 | Stable 7.3.15.0.0
and sound is pretty awesome.
What to do . Please give me a complete proper solution.

Sound quality is rather good but loudness isn't.
You can get a trade of on that in many ways for music & video it actually depends on your choice. One of the ways is that you for instance disable Mi sound enhancer & use Google play music but it's not a best one. Other method is to use apps (VLC, foobar2000...) that suport OpenSL audio output & enable it this isn't bad but still not the best practice. The best practice is to use sound-volume amplification (gain) in apps (most MMC apps suport it in dB form) & along with Mi sound enhancer & remember if you cross the line with amplification the sound quality falls exponentially 1.8~2.2dB is usually used in studio's as hire volume is actually loo you can go up to 3.8dB not hearing much of distortion after that it is present but no one is stopping you to get it up as much as you like. Xiaomi purposely lowered the volumes in mixer patches as it whose afraid someone will get its hearing damage & lawsuit them. I use Kodi for movies (with 93dB set for a music and 3.8dB amplification set for a movies & pass true) and foobar2000 with DSP resasampler set to 96000 for music & quality is actually really good at least with solid quality budget over the ear headphones that I use (Panasonic HTF295, Superlux HD-668B).
Dear bro i have tried ur system but not working ...thanks

Well it works very good in Kodi, not so good in foobar2000.
In foobar2000 you can enable the OpenSL output (warning before doing this revert reply-gain to at least 0db), this way you gain a lot on loudness but lose some quality (as always). I prefer quality & with good headphones & decent quality sources it's good enough for me as I described before & a real pleasure with HiFi lossless flac (I have cuple 24bit 96000Hz ones) one's.
OpenSL is also hardware accelerated so it's not much power hungry.
Best regards.
Try sound booster by goodev to enhance your sounds and add it to autostart.

Ok then you may not require any audiophile rom to be installed on your phone as quality of audio does not depend on input device (partially). It mainly depend upon your output (may be speaker or headphones).
But sound processing is also a term you should glance at (good in our phone z2 plus as it has SD820):good:

DivineBeats 10.0
I use DivineBeats 10.0 Infinity on AEX 4.6. It is a single zip file with both Dolby and Viper. Give it a try and believe me you would be amazed to hear the sound quality. Moreover the sound effect can be applied globally.

What I hate Dolby is that it can't set different profile for different sound output. I don't want to apply any eq or sound mod for phone speaker as it tends to distort easily with my taste of sound for headphone/bluetooth speaker. This is the reason why I always refuse to use Dolby.

miui 10 low earphones volume

hello, is there anyone who knows how to fix low volume in earphones? it drives me crazy, some custom miui roms have this fixed, but i want to stick with eu rom which suits me best
I was on global stable and needed to change region to Switzerland, North Korea, anywhere outside of Europe really, otherwise the volume was too low. I'm now using xiaomi.eu weekly and volume over headphones is fine. What rom are you using now?
I also turn on mi sound enhancer in Additional settings>Headphones and audio effects, and also tweak the EQ a bit as well.

hi, sorry for late reply. Im using latest EMUI 10 eu rom (8.10.18), however there is no option to change region, nor via first time setup nor via settings. Also tried stock audio equalizer and direct HD effects, music sounds better with it but not louder... any other suggestion? thanks for answer
I think the default region for the eu roms is Poland (don't quote me on that though). As I wanted to change the LTE status bar icon to 4G and changed a line in the build prop using the terminal in twrp. I changed from PL to ES, but I don't think I noticed any change in volume to be honest. I would have thought the eu rom was already adjusted in terms of audio volume.

---------- Post added at 12:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:43 AM ----------
Also some people said that chnge the region to india will fix it ,but that was miui 9 ,in miui 10 i cant find an option to changing the region.
install MiuiMS, it's smooth and perfect. You have the option there to change the region

raising the sound quality or can it be achieved?

Hey.
Is it possible to increase the sound quality? I have a PowerAmp application, unfortunately the sound equalizer is set to not have the desired effects. Basses and sopranos are not enough for me. The question is whether there are drivers available that will improve the capabilities of the music or whether an external sound equalizer will help. My headphones are the Encore Rockmaster OE.
Will Custom ROM give the desired effect?
I apologize for my English and I count on your help very much. Greetings!
Try masik 1.7 miui based ROM ,, it has 3 types of audio ports, I selected first one while installing ROM through twrp it was good with my Sony headphones
