hi all,
my problem is that in the radio on the bottom left there is a button in the shape of a lens that if I press it automatically searches for all the radios, automatically deleting the stored ones, is it possible to disable this useless button?

I've been following various threads to remove the O2 active application, and successful - my Internet Explorer does now go to MY home page instead of 02's!
Unfortunately I've lost button control, buttons 3 & 4 no longer appear in my assign list and button 5 no longer carries a number.
Does anyone know where I can fix this in the Windows coding?

I don't know whether this will help or not, but I had a similar problem with the buttons on my Orange M2000 (specifically the camera button).
I eventually found that there was a program in the startup folder which seemed to be re-assigning the camera app to the camera button with each reset. Moving this program out of startup solved that problem.
OK, I've found a folder in Windows called AppButtons, when I remove the shortcuts inside, then some of the app buttons stop working (error no shortcut) but replacing the shortcuts does not refresh the list to produce 9 different buttons.

Ive got a HTC Branded TyTN and I've installed various ROMs on the phone, included the standard rom. The buttons on the front of the phone seem to stop responding after 5 inputs.
For example, I activate the start menu with the Windows Button. I use the D-Pad to scroll down the list, i press it 4 times, the keys stop responding.
The slide out keyboard works fine.
Whats weird is, if i press the Ok button below the track wheel twice, I can then press the front face buttons 5 more times.
Any suggestions. I've done hardresets, Rom updates, im leaning toward a hardware issue. i'd like your input though.

I have a very odd problem with my SPV M650.
4 hardware buttons, (green, red phone, camera button, voice controll) stopped working with no specific reason. The odd thing about it all is that when i press the O/I button twice the camera starts. Furthermore when in camera mode i tap the O/I button twice again the camera makes a picture.
I was hoping a new ROM would help but it didint (i've flashed B&B v5 twice).
Would really appreceate your help.

I've dissasembled my Artemis and checked the copper under the buttons and id seems that the problem is software based... How can i reinstall the software responsible for the nardware buttons??
I've been experiencing a weird issue with every keyboard app I've tried, and I would appreciate some help.
This problem started occurring only after the most recent updates. About 90% of the time that I hit the space bar on the keyboard, it registers as a double tap inserting two spaces. The phone vibrates 2x in rapid succession to indicate that two touches are being registered.
This also happens when I hold the space bar down, except the two phone vibrations are a little further apart when I hold the space bar down. This prevents me from being able to long tap the space bar (switch between language input). No other keys / apps appear to behave this way. I've tried the dialer touchscreen FW update trick as well with no success.
It's been a pain to type anything on my phone and any help would be awesome.

Replying to my own thread here. I think I found a fix (at least for now).
I spoke with Samsung / T-Mobile service and I was able to rule out this being a software issue. I took off my screen protector and the problem still persisted, so it wasn't a screen protector issue. I then took off my case, pressed down firmly on the affected area of the screen, squeezed the top and bottom of the phone firmly together, and squeezed the sides/edges of the phone together firmly around the affected area. I have not been able to reproduce the double tapping issue since.
My best guess is that this might have been a physical issue having to do with the curved shape of the screen?

Hi all! I am a owner of not well known MTCB-MD and have a few issues with it. Unit was updated to Malaysk rom for RK3066 android 4.4.4 and mcu is updated from MTCB-MD-1.83V to MTCB-MD-2.67V.
First problem is that power buton is not working. Cannot turn it off (it turns on and off via car key), and can´t make selection in recovery (reboot, restore, update, factory reset...). When MTC is on and I push power button it acts like HOME button (and I tried with all launchers).
Second thing is that 3 keys on the right are not working at all, and buttons on the left are remaped without any sense, luckly disc eject is displayed on screen, it is only way to eject CD/DVD.
Third thing is about Wi-Fi. Sometimes it turns on and immediately connects to network, sometimes it is stucked on Turning on Wi-Fi, sometimes it drops connection with phone which is 20cm away from unit.
Any idea how to roll back to original android version and where to find mcu version 1.83? And how to even upgrade/downgrade it when i can´t select any option in Recovery mod???

In the settings/factory settings/ there is an option for button layout. Change it to what works with your setup.
Contact your seller or manufacturer for files.
I have already tried all button layout options but nothing changes.
UPDATE: This morning new problem came out. MCU starts when I start engine, display logo, boot to homescreen, and after few seconds starts again displaying VW logo and it´s stuck on it...
Would it help to connect it to laptop via USB-A/USB-A cable and reinstall software/firmware with RK software?
