Good day, in different sources it is written that our phone supports esim.
Has anyone tried this in the case? And does this work for all versions of the phone?
For example, you can buy eSim for the LG G7 Thinq on the Mobilitypass.com website.
Does this really work? Has anyone tried it?

Hello mates,
I'd like to ask you if it is possible to convert an lg g7 thinq "single sim" to "dual sim" in some way or if it exists any good adapter to do it.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks in advance!
The microsd slot actually can serve as another sim slot if you turn it sideways
Not every module actually supports it even when there is a place for it.

It seems that the hardware is there but it's disabled. IDK how to enable it but even if I could there is no IMEI for the second sim.
After watching the jerryrigs vid about the LG G7 and seeing some VNese vids about the converting process of the korean Samsung s8 and more, I kinda believe that the possibility is there, but it'll take time til someone figure it out. I have the LM G710N korean single sim variant and also want to convert it to dual sim.
I think it will easier to buy one adapter like those sold on simore website.
The only problem is the price...
I am recently purchased a LG G7 ThinQ LM-G710ULM from Google and use it on Google Fi. Everything works fine so far. Previously, I was using a Samsung Galaxy Duos S8+ SM-G955FD on T-Mobile. I need a dual SIM phone for travel. I noticed that LG has a LG G7 ThinQ+ with 128 GB, 6GB of RAM available in Hong Kong. That model number is LM-G710EAW.
I am thinking of replacing the S8+ with a G7+ if I can turn that G7+ compatible with Google Fi with all Fi features. Otherwise, I might just as well to use the S8+ for travel.
The Question is: -
Can I flash the LM-G710ULM firmware G710ULM10g_00_NAO_US_OP_0913.kdz to the LM-G710EAW? If the hardware on these phones are the same, wouldn’t this turn the G7+ dual SIM into a Google Fi compatible Dual SIM phone?
I sure wish these phone manufacturers would make dual SIM phone available in the States and that would make life so much easier for the users that have the need.
No, you cannot cross flash. Try selling the device.
G710EAW is compatibile with Fi, I tried to sign up and was accepted. I had canceled the subscription to Fi because I have a better plan.
Be aware that you will brick your device if you flash it. Also the Hong Kong version, IMO, has some spyware, I have installed indian eaw firmware and it is more snappy and has better battery life.
Thanks. I think I am just going to keep the LM-G710ULM and the S8+ Duos. I normally carry two phones when travelling, as I have 3 different SIM cards. Maybe one of these days, we can get a 3 or 4 SIM phones. LOL!
Hey Guys,
anyone here from austria, who get VoLTE/VoWifi on austrian providers?
I have been using the Pixel devices for a long time, unfortunately they are not officially supported in Austria.
That's why VoLTE and VoWifi do not work with Austrian providers.
Also LTE A/4G+ doesn't work imo, if i compare to my mate 20 pro, which i bought some time ago, via an austrian provider
Has anyone, VoLTE or VoWifi, at the pixel 3 can activate later, or it managed that it works with Austrian providers?
I know there is a thread here on xda, about activating those things, but only for Pixel 2/2Xl.
Haven't seen a workaround for 3/3XL.
cheers,
Chris
Late response but unless your carrier sells it, don't count on those features being supported. I helped find a way on the pixel for those of us in the EU. I also read and tried the pixel 2xl method on pixel 3 to no avail. I know which files need to be manipulated but any changes don't stick and unfortunately, diag mode on pixel 3 is damned near impossible. You can root and try do the pixel method and maybe mbn will stick if you use an American sim card but other than that, not happening. Sucks for us European folks
Hi. I recently bought a G981B/DS from the UK for use in the US. I really like the S20 5G and needed a dual-sim phone. However, I have run into two problems:
1. 5G does not work in the US on this phone. I believe there is a problem with the bands. Is there a workaround for this problem, or am I screwed?
2. Samsung Pay on the phone appears to be locked to the UK. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but it just does not show US-based discounts or offers at all.
Can anybody guide me if any of these two problems can be fixed with software?
Thanks!
Hello everyone.
Apologies if someone has posted a fix for this anywhere earlier but can't seem to find it. So I was wondering if it's possible to enable esim functionality (1 physical and 1 esim) on us snapdragon s20 ultra unlocked. I really need that for home and work life balance. I am open to flashing a firmware to enable esim functionality provided the device supports that firmware. Would be glad to buy anyone a coffee for guiding me on this.
Hi,
If you are unlocked flash the decoded csc features from magisk
Decoded csc
Please help regarding this issue. I need it on an urgent basis. My device is sm-g988u. If anyone could just point to a compatible firmware for esim or any other workaround.
Am ready to pay a decent amount to anyone who can provide a solution to this thing.. I don't have a spare phone and besides it's cumbersome to carry 2 phones.. Desperately need a solution..

I am also looking at the same issue. I have a s20 plus snap dragon. Single sim. Can I buy dual sim tray and insert it? I am in Canada and Bell says they support esim. But can't tell me if esim and separate physical sim will work with my phone.
