Hi, I've really problem with enter to download mode. I tried 3 ways:
1. Enter to download mode from option in bootloader
2. Connect to PC and click VOL+ and VOL- buttons
3. ADB Reboot command.
First and third ways means restart the phone, second way doesn't work. I recorded video with 3 ways:
https://youtu.be/UKTsrEz9Nho
I don't have ideas. Help
Enter recovery by pressing Vol up + power from device switched off state. After you enter recovery reboot to bootloader from the recovery mode.
Better still hold down power and volume down buttons while device is switched off and insert USB cable which is already attached to your PC.
Did you read my post? I tried this methods
I get that you have tried all methods. But watching your video it looks like maybe you are not pressing volume up and down all the way while connecting to PC. I always set device in right hand so I can use two fingers to ensure both are pressed.

I'm having same issues.
Any solution yet?
The resolution is to plug a standard USB/micro USB phone charging cable into a pc or laptop (but not into the phone yet). Then hold Volume down+power, and while holding them down, plug the micro part of the USB cable into the phone. As soon as you have the cable plugged into the phone, hold down the Home button. Within a few seconds it will go into download mode.

You do realize that it is USB-C, right? Micro USB doesn't fit.

And the "Home" button hasn't existed in quite a few years...

Easy there killer. He (or she) was very specific in saying micro USB. Don't assume that people know the difference between cable types.

And you don't hold volume down and power you hold volume up and down and plug the C

So, I had to replace the screen on my phone because it was cracked. But not after putting it all back together, the phone just boots loops. I am trying to follow the guide about unbricking your phone but I am unsure about getting into download mode. I hold down both volume buttons and plug in the usb into the computer, but noting happens except the phone just keeps boot looping. How do you tell if phone is in download mode? What does the screen look like?
If you get into download mode, you can't miss it. It is pretty obvious. To get your phone into download mode, shut off your phone (Hold power button for 12 second), wait 2-3 sec, press both volume button and then insert usb cable.
Hmm. Seems like my problem is something else. I can't get in into download mode. I cant even get the phone ti turn on if it isn't plugged in.

Could your battery be dead? Getting to download screen is a bit tricky as far as the timing is concerned.
USB should be already inserted, otherwise phone will just boot when you plug the cable in.
So usb pluged in, next turn off the phone via power button, now hold both volume buttons + power, should work.

^this has been my experience as well. Turn phone off. Insert USB. Wait for charging screen to flash on and disappear. Then press and hold vol+ vol- power until Download Mode screen flashes on, then release buttons.
First of all when in download mode you'll see a box displayed saying "download mode" it's hard to miss even you try to.
Here's how I did it. Instead of trying to push both vol + and- , press the middle part of the volume rocker. And press power button at the same time. USB cable can be plugged in advance or can be inserted later on. Only advantage of plugging the USB later is it gives you a proper grip and reassurances you've pressed the button combination correctly. Note that the phone will look for a USB presence before booting to download mode..hope this helps

You did hold the power button too right? I'm asking just to make sure, not trying to be a smart mouth. Try hold power + both Vol. buttons without the battery, and plug in the usb cord to computer (with the other end attach to the device already of course). If that works, you can put the battery back in.

I have the same problem, I was upgrading my f240 to KK but it stucked at 60%.
Now I dont know what to do & my f240 is stucked on 'download mode'
What should I do?
Dear XDA Community,
I really hope that you can help me here.
When my phone used to turned of because it ran out of battery, the only way that I had to turn it on again after charging it was through download mode and then cancel pressing volume down.
The other day I attempted pressing the 3 buttons after charging but pressed volume up instead of down. The phone started in other mode that I didn't know and I was so idiot that I pressed the 3 buttons again (this time with the volume down), WHILE it was on the other mode (the one accessed with power, vol up and home).
Now the phone is completely hard bricked. No light when charging, no contact with the computer, no nothing.
I ordered in Ebay an USB jig, but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't know if it will work and I don't really know what to do. I can't really afford another phone at this moment and I'm getting crazy.
I would be really happy if anybody has any suggestion.

download and recovery, but you were only charging battery?
if you didn't flash anything then there is no way you could brick your phone.
so you can't enter download mode?
I entered recovery mode and attempted to come into download mode while in that mode.
No, unfortunately I can't enter download mode. No contact with the phone through USB with the computer either.

if you can't even turn it on, then probably you will have to go to gsm service to flash via service box.

They told me that in Samsung service point. They told me that for this phone, it wasn't worthy either.
The jig USB arrived and it didn't help
Sorry for the noob question, I've been trying to search everywhere with no luck.
I recently found a Sprint Note 7, and was wondering if I can still revive it.
It's currently at 0%, however, If I plug it in, it shows the battery icon.
If I try to go into download mode, while plugged in, by holding vol -, home, power, it just does a bootloop.
Is it still possible for me to revive this? Maybe a guide somewhere I havent found?
Thanks!
I can help you brother

Hello.
Here are the steps to force the download mode after the kill update :
Connect it to the pc
Volume down, home and power keys for 3 seconds then remove your fingers (3times)
Congratulations you're in download mode now [emoji6]

Im not sure if I understand you correctly.
I connected it to PC, phone vibrates, then shows the battery icon with the lightning bolt, computer does the USB sound, but on device manager it says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"
Anyways, I press and hold Vol- home and power key together for exactly 3 seconds, and nothing happens. I did this up to 10 times, nothing really happens.
Alternatively, I tried holding the buttons till something happens, which is the screen turns black, USB disconnect sound on PC, I release the buttons, phone vibrates and shows the samsung splash screen, then phone vibrates and shows battery icon again. I did this around 10 times as well, but no luck.
Also worth mentioning, I didnt disconnect the usb cable at any point. Am I supposed to?
Is there something I am doing wrong?
Update - It seems I can get it to boot into the the screen before the download mode when plugged into an outlet. However, if I hit Vol+ to go into download mode, it restarts.
A few ideas
I've had largely the same experience with mine. It seems to need an excessive amount of power in order to boot into download mode. I managed to get it into download mode while plugged into a computer by using a y cable to plug it into an outlet first, then swap the one usb input to the pc. However despite my efforts, the pc still would not recognize my phone, and Odin would not acknowledge that it was plugged in.
i do everything right the oem and usb debugging and then shutdown then i press the volume buttons then connect a usb type c thats connected to my pc then nothing pops up unlike everyone else

Hold all 3 buttons when the phone is off. You don't need to connect anything in the USB port
