I found a battery on amazon it looks original
here's the link...
https://www.amazon.in/Black-Store-O...J17Y47J19ZB&psc=1&refRID=W6DXD4NDHJ17Y47J19ZB
Please someone tell me is this original battery ??
i want to replace my z2 plus battery..
Looks Original to me too
Looks original to me from pics.
i just changed my battery after trying 4 batteries (2 from amazon india, 2 from aliexpress) returned or refunded all of them because there starting mAh in Accubattery app was never above 75% in first few days.
i got one from Lenovo /Motorola service center , this one is showing above 100% in 3 days but warranty given is only 1 month that to by local service vendor.
so, 3 month on the link you gave is substantial, generally you will know the actual reality in 5 days max so if not 95% above return the same.
if battery starts dying quickly then it will show signs in 1 -2 months (the ones i got refunded from aliexpress did not last beyond 2 months) so 3 month warranty will cover any such issues
cost of battery at lenovo is 899 INR+ 18% tax but service center will not hand over battery directly as part sale; you have to get replaced by them so different center charge different service charges ; so it becomes different at different locations
i checked at 2 places, 1 was stating 1500 INR(tax inclusive), but it did not have battery in stock, was insisting on giving away the phone; other stated 1650 INR(tax inclusive) , this center was having the stock so i got it done in 2 hours.
hope this gives you comprehensive view , which i gathered for over an year

Firstly, there's no "Original" battery for Xperia ZL anywhere in India (If Sony service center's in India cannot manage to get one.. How can anyone expect to get it in other markets? [emoji14] ).
That being said you'll have to rely on non-oem batteries (will not be original...whatever their claim ).
I had replaced my battery with one of the battery I found at ebay.in by this seller Battery and Seller Info.....it's working fine uptill now for me .(may or may not work for you, don't blame me for anything [emoji14])
Do keep in mind one more thing... Non-oem batteries will never last same as the original one did. If you're lucky enough the battery will be "just fine".
It shows product not available. Kindly send other link bro.thanks.
i recently switched to a polarcell which works very well. maybe consider one of those instead?
Whats is polarcell? Link pls!
I think this is the polarcell: http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_odkw...id=m570.l1313&_nkw=sony+zl+polarcell&_sacat=0
^yep that's the one.
In India any?
Sadly nobody sells original batteries, and Chinese batteries are cheap but crap. Mine from Aliexpress never charges to 4.2 volts, instead it reaches 100 when voltage is 4.09 and then around 30% it drops dead. They of course advertise them as original
here you go guys
ebay.com item no 181574004225
got it off this seller (its original_parts_mobile_99) 9 months ago, exact same as the one it has replaced, mfg date 14W33 if am not mistaken. Would post pics but the phones now reassembled, anyway this is the real deal.
Just realised that I have actually bought it from their official store as the postage price was lower there (ordered multiple items); originalpartsmobile.com (not allowed to post links sorry)

Hello,
I search a replacement battery for my Asus zenfone 2 ml551.
The best I found is on aliexpress
http://fr.aliexpress.com/item/100-O...89.html?spm=2114.13010208.99999999.268.KE7RFg
I'm not sure about this battery is good and I search other authentic ASUS.
Did you have help ?
I wouldn't buy a battery that is 1.5 years old. Check the date of manufacture, and if it doesn't have one, don't buy it!

Finally the zenfone shutdown and never restart.
Any idea about trouble ?
Thanks for help
The battery is fully dead now.. It won't turn on.. You probably getting 2 times vibrations while putting on wall charger..
I've been facing this issue a while submitted to service center they replaced the battery.
Fix; you need to navigate to asus service center and buy a original battery from there will be a good idea.
If replacing battery DIY style, make sure it comes from reputable source. Got mine from ebay, advertised as better than original.
Although it holds charge for a day I must not overcharge it, see screenshot.
It gets to 100℅ Then in 5mins drops to 50/25/12/0 and powers off. missed my alarm multiple times now haha
Where can I buy a good battery for ZE551ML?
so we pretty much have to trash our phones when the battery dies? I cant find a battery!!! asus.com amazon.com nothing

Thanks. If you live in USA paying 40 dollars for the battery plus shipping makes you reconsider buying a new phone. I'm traveling to europe in a couple of weeks so might buy a new battery there. Its sad there's no good battery in USA.

I live in Argentina, here a "original" battery costs 100 dollars with 20 days of delay. I'm still running on my original battery, and charging it almost every day at mid day.
Has anyone found a good option in USA?

Yep, I paid $15 on eBay for this battery. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but my SOT doubled (went from <2 hours to being >4 hours), and my quick charge works again (on last battery, it stopped working).
The battery is slightly different from my original one (model # wasn't exactly the same, and the version # of the adapter on the battery wasn't the same). It was kind of a pain in the ass to install, but it still worked after I installed it.
I can't promise that you'll have the same experience, but the seller is highly rated and there is a 30-day return period.

This is so god damn expensive, the shipping to US costs as much as the battery costs.
Has anyone had a good experience with an eBay or AMazon seller?
Hello everyone, Is there a way to know how much actual capacity (mah) is available on my zenfone ze550ml battery?
The AccuBattery app claims to calculate the actual capacity of your battery (mah) and the more charging cycles you make the better the accuracy of the estimation (although, judging from my case, the estimation does not change a lot after the first cycle)
I had my battery replaced while in Taipei for a cost of NTD 1000 (about USD 30) including labor. The Asus service center in Taipei wanted the phone for 3 days; they recommended a shop that did it in 90 minutes. The shop claimed it was an OEM battery, but it seems to discharge more quickly. On the other hand, it doesn't suddenly die with 30-40%.

In sony care you need to order, and in sony world (Authorized retailer) it is available (if in stock)..
Though chances of getting battery without order is less, because nicki battery demand is less, most of the nicki dies before battery dies..
Well, it's been 3 months since I posted this question. I was unable to buy nicki battery for a cheap price. So instead I decided to buy 600 rs powerbank by which I can charge my nicki almost 4 times.
Yup..that's it.
About 2/3 weeks ago i received a new battery to replace the old one on my nexus 5, that was only giving me about 2h of SOT. The battery is a standard 2300mA, brought on ebay. Right after the installation, the doubts started: the new battery does not have the wireless charging option. That was not said anywhere on the description, so the seller got a neutral feedback. Now, after some time, i come to the conclusion that the battery is as good as the old one: it only lasts for about 2h of SOT. So probably it's a fake battery...
So today i found ou this one: https://www.batteryupgrade.com/shop...rtmentProductId/61381272/shopGroupId/86483823
it says it is 2500mAh. Well, for the price it should be. Anyone care to comment if it is worth try it and spend the money on it or should i consider an original one from lgspares?
Regards.
First things first. Wireless charging is totally irrelavant with what battery you have inside. The coil is attached to the back plate, not the battery. If it is not charging wirelessly check your installation.
Secondly, ebay+batteries = fake. Also, anything more than 2300mAh = fake. These are the two steps you have to do to check if a battery is genuine:
a) Check the battery temp. If it always says 29c, then it is fake.
b) If it DOESN'T have LG printed on the back (or has sth else like Samsung TSDI), then it is fake.
Spareslg used to carry original batteries and I bought one myself about 1,5 years ago. I don't know if this is still the case now, although I don't see why they would change now. So your best bet would be them.
Hi.
Thanks for your input. However the wireless charging is on the battery itself. I did chech this by placing the older battery on top of my wireless charger and saw the ligthing charging indicador turn on.
What's on the back cover is the coil for the NFC.
As for the current battery, when i did found out that about the 29C it really is happening (with slight variations), even thought the battery says LG.
I've sent an e-mail to the website selling this new one. Let's see what they answer.
Enviado do meu Nexus 5 através de Tapatalk
No it is not. The coil is on the back cover. You probably didn't snap the center clip in place (the one above the S), so there is no contact with the leads.
I didn't quite catch what you mean with the battery.
He means the battery temperature is 29 (fake) even if the LG words are written in it.
Topic looks a bit rezzed but...
I got this battery http://www.ebay.com/itm/2500mah-3-8...991327?hash=item4afad7431f:g:LIMAAOSwZ8ZW3lAJ
On my second charge I got 4h55m SOT, but the average from charge #1 and #3 is about 4h10m.
Using NitrogenOS + Nitrogen Kernel (interactive, power saving, -5000uv)
I bought this battery www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NCJMQXK/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8. It is OEM brand new. Easily gives me a full day on one charge with light usage. I can get around 4 hours of non stop gaming. It seams better than the original battery that cane with my phone. All for $9 usd shipped! Shipping was pretty fast too.

I did the mod with a spare G2 battery I got from a relative, but I don't think it really charged beyond 2300mah. The charging times were roughly the same as well as the SOT.
So in my opinion it is just a placebo.

Did you calibrate the battery? That would need to be done for the phone to create a new file for the battery to detect the increase in size.
Well i replaced my Nexus 5s bad 2300 mah battery with LG G2s Genuine new 3000 mah battery.
Only made 1 charge/discharge cycle. I played for 1 h 10 m not demanding game, Used chrome for 1 h 37 m, Used 4G Network for 30 m, Talked 20 m (playd 4-5 games for 4-5 minutes, some youtube, settings and this kind of staff)and it gave me 5 h SOT! And this with Custom rom Android 7 nitrogen (which is buggy!!!!) After 2-3 cycles of my new batter, stable ROM without issues and Voltage and frequency tweaks i think it will give me 6 h 30 m SOT. Which is fantastic for Nexus 5!

I really thinking about mod G2 battery into my Nexus 5.
I tried to order Genuine battery from the links that other people recommended.
Not surprisingly, one Amazon seller send me fake one.
Another one send looks like genuine but battery is manufactured in 2013 which is older than my original battery and, there are bunch of unknown black chemicals outside of the battery that I ordered.
Very tired to buy a genuine battery for Nexus 5. Seems like more easy to mod to install G2.

The one that I ordered is from 2013 but is a brand new unused battery. It is definetelt OEM as I have taken it apart. Before doing so I checked the temperature of the battery as wekk and it checks out there as well. I know they stopped manufacturing these batteries but not sure when. I personally would not be worried about the date of the battery but more so making sure it is OEM.
Well, back in September I bought a 'genuine LG' BL-T9 with tools from a Chinese seller on ebay for $9.
I literally went over it with a magnifying glass and it appears genuine. All the markings are correct, the temp varies, and the build quality is the same as the original.
In fact, the only way I could tell the 2 apart was the sticky residue on the back of the original and the mfg date (11/26/2013 & 07/08/2016).
I took a chance on getting a fake, and if I did it turned out to be a good fake, as SOT went from under 2hrs to slightly over 4 and standby time is almost 5 days compared to the 2.5 or so from the original.
I gambled the $9 and unless my Nexus does a Note 7, I did good.

Manufacturing date is important with Li-polymer batteries.
A 3-year-old unused battery will not last as long as a 3-month-old unused battery.
The 'new' 2013 battery may last longer than the used one in the phone, but it won't last as long as a 2015 battery would.
I'd sooner buy a decent generic 2015-2016 battery than a genuine LG battery made in 2013.

I have not had a single problem with mine. I play a lot of games on my phone and I have no problem getting between 4 to 6 hours of SOT with the battery that I purchased from Amazon. After reading posts online my SOT is what other people are getting with their genuine batteries as well. So I don't see it degrading that much. Of it did it was a very tiny amount which I am fine with for what it cost. I believe it was like $8 shipped. I posted a link to it earlier in this thread or the other battery thread not sure which. I have also been using the battery for around 2 months now maybe s little longer with no degrade in SOT.
I’ve bought a new battery from AliExpress. Date on the battery is June 2016 (I assume it’s manufacturing date).
Before I replace the battery, I want to test the current/original battery. Any suggestion which App I can use?
It would be great if there an app that keeps screen on from 100% charge and records how long screen was on before battery died. Once I have the result, I can run the same app after (/if I manage to) change the battery.
Any suggestion/advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks guys,

It would be great if there an app that keeps screen on from 100% charge and records how long screen was on before battery died. Once I have the result, I can run the same app after (/if I manage to) change the battery.
Any suggestion/advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks guys,

Ampere is the app I use for measuring current & load.
IIRC, it doesn't keep a logfile, but it does help when it comes to determining output & charging current.
As for your other question, I really don't know which app to use, but if you do a search of the entirety of XDA, someone's probably coded one.
Though I personally wouldn't use such an app because the N5 gets pretty warm under heavy use anyway, and I'd rather not have it burst into flame unattended.
Also, the battery I posted earlier about here is still going strong.
It was either a genuine LG battery or a really good counterfeit.
Hi:
I ended up by buying an original battery from spares LG. So far, i'm very happy with the performance: i'm getting between 2h30m and 3h00 SOT, with 4G, wi-fi and Bluetooth allays on.
This is new HTC 10 , 3 days old, i can't believe this is the normal battery life.
it barely holds 15h between[15% - 80%]
i keep background sync off for most application, bluetooth on only when needed almost 1-2h/d, plane mode on for about 3h
so far i only charged till [email protected] and recharge at 15%
May i have a guide to a metric i can used to rule out the batter is defected or not.
from AccBattery:
Est. Capacity: 2.529 mAh
Design Capacity: 3000 mAh
so it's has only only 2.5 AH due to 8o% charging or it's just defected and must be returned.
Is it true that this device is assembled 3 days ago ? Or has it been on some shelf for 14 months.....whay does that to a battery ? I have my doubts it is a brand new just assembled device when the launch was over 2 years ago.
Do your math and investigation. You may bought it new.....but IS it new.
Thank for your reply, That's what i worried about as i bought it for 230 Euro fom Ebay.

Check this link and see when your device was manufactured. There is a high chance that it was on the shelf for a long time, which in turn can impact the battery. DO NOT put you serial number here though

Thanks for that useful link , it turned out that it manufactured Nov16 , almost 2 years.
i guess that's the reason of the funny battery performance, and battery replacement for U10 is the hardest as far as i know with regards to phone re-assembly .
Better return it thuogh.
