Hi, I got the galaxy watch 46mm from my uncle who came from the USA as a gift. I realised that it is a Tmobile version LTE. I was upset about it because of late Tmobile updates and network lock. How can I install the unlocked LTE firmware on my watch? Is there anyway to do that? (I have 0 experience in flashing software so be patient with me)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm looking to upgrade my phone to the Galaxy note 4. I live in Toronto, Canada and see that there's someone selling an unlocked at&t note 4.
Are there any minuses to buying an AT&T phone and using it in Canada? LTE bands are the same as my carrier (Telus). Will I not get updates or have any other issues?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same phone (N910A) should work fine with Telus ( with Public Mobile = uses Telus/Bell towers).
Only issue with AT & T variant is it isn't rootable if that is what you want later on.
Thanks for the answer, and esp the tip on rooting!
Hi guys,
I have option to buy n920a in Europe, but is there any chance I can update phone without active AT&T sim card? Phone is brand new and unlocked, perfectly working 4g in my country, but only problem that worrys me is software update.
The ATT updates can be done without an ATT simcard, but the updates received to the ATT model are soo slow. You should just buy the international model, since they are rootable, and samsung updates them w.o the ATT bloat.
Hi,
Im a first time android user and recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 (International Version - SM G9600 - DUOS - Snapdragon). I need wifi calling very badly on At&T as my work and home both have bad reception so my purchase has handicapped me from making calls. I see a lot of forums talking about flashing At&T firmware on G960U VERSION. But i havent seen a single one talking about flashing it on g9600. Is it possible? I compared the specs and every hardware looks same except dual sim option. Will I brick my phone if i attempt it? Please suggest im in need to help from the pro community.
Regards.

Hi all, new here and phone ignorant.
My parents wanted new phones this past Christmas and they like Samsungs. They had Galaxy S3's and so I bought them 2 new Galaxy S9's, model SM-G960U1. They worked great out of the box. I moved over their ATT Straight Talk sims and they have had no issues. They live out in the country and these phones get great reception.
Fast forward to last week I decided to order the same for myself. The phone that arrived was a Galaxy S9 model SM-G960U. I stuck in my ATT Straight Talk SIM and at first thought everything was OK. But, then realized the phone is missing Volte, wifi calling, and gets horrible data coverage and very weak voice service in the country.
Is there anything I can do to fix this, like flash the firmware? Am I stuck with it? Should I try returning it?
Thanks!
Flash it to U1 (unlocked) as your phone currently has "U" firmware (originally carrier locked). Read this thread to see how: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/how-to/how-to-flash-u1-firmware-to-device-t3765200 . My S9 is an AT&T variant and I flashed it to The unlocked US variant and I use it on Simple Mobile. Wifi calling works, cellular data and cell signal - everything works perfectly.
Hi guys
Looking for advise
I bought galaxy watch 2 lte in Australia R825FXXU1ASHL (software). I moved to the UK recently and I tried to connect it to EE but they say that it is wrong region and the watch won't work as standalone thing. I actually bought th eplan and everything and i got the message that the watch is not supported. I was looking at forum threads and it appear that you can change the region for the Bluetooth version but can the LTE version be somehow changed?
Thanks for your help
