Hi, is there a way to flash a custom ROM without unlocking the bootloader? The thetered recovery seems not working...

So im on stock 3.2.8 never flashed beta..and i want to flash open beta 9 .. is there any problem? I just need to unlock bootloader and flash it with adb? Thanks

My recommendation:
- unlock the BL
- flash modded TWRP using fastboot
- perform a full wipe using TWRP
- convert "data" partition to F2FS using TWRP
- flash Open Beta 9 uisng TWRP
- flash SuperSU SR5 to gain ROOT access using TWRP
If you need further support, just ask

Thanks alot for your time sir..still have a few questions..is there any way to flash it without twrp..i mean without gaining root..i just want to be on community build ?

sure, you can unlock the BL, use the stock recovery and adb

How to unroot my z2plus???

Hello to everyone each and every developer .I flashed magisk zip file through twrp recovery .So should I simply go and wipe off system through twrp recovery to unroot my phone or their is some other way?

There is a option to uninstall magisk from magisk manager.
Or alternatively you can flash magisk uninstaller zip

I try today to root my honor 7x
It is unlocking and I flash twrp_ramdisk_oreo_19-4-18.img with fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk
Now it's blocking on the teamwin screen
If anyone could help me

Don't is that version.
It is mentioned a few times in the thread that that file came from not to use it. Please read some of the posts before flashing random files from the internet.

this is just recovery . is not root.
Did recovery work?

When back from GSI to stock ROM
Some of the system applications I need to use cannot be restored
So i need system.img to flash using flashboot,
Can that restore my system applications?

yes I had unlock and flash success TWRP, now I need app system restore same just like when I first bought the device

You can download the stock firmware and install it

Yes, i had do it, i download file .ozip and flash it , but problem don't fix
