I don't know what you mean. For calendar and planning app, I've found nothing more capable than Pocket Informant (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.webis.informant).
You can sync it to outlook on your computer with gSyncit. Has much more options than the rest of calendar apps and I have tried them all. Very potent. But I don't know if you need such a solution or something else.
I use Microsoft To Do for planning my day at work and I love it. It has an app for PC btw..
You should try AndyDo
It's an amazing planner and task calendar integration app

Im thinking about moving from WinMo to Android. If you could help me with few questions...
I dont use any Google services, no gmail as I rather use myowndomain.com... I want to sync with Outlook via usb (bluetooth, yeah maybe but usb would be better); contacts, calendar and tasks... Is there good sync software out there?
The main reason for me to have a smartphone for a cell phone, is so I dont need always have a laptop with me. This brings me to opening and editing office apps; I found "Documents to Go" that seems to be OK, anyone using it?
To me its also important to automatically sync folders while syncing with Outlook, any good programs for that? Ive been using MobSync with WinMo and I guess it could work with this too? I found also Microsoft SyncToy, never tried it though...
Can I get my tasks listed on Android today screen like on WinMo? I need to have be reminded of my tasks, otherwise I would spend ½ of my day reading at XDA and not doing any of the things Im supposed to do...
Any comments and help is appreciated... Thanks!

HTC Sync comes with the phone, I also had some contacts stored on my company mail but I've started migrating to gmail because the really really neat integration and extremely useful features.

I don't use any software for editing just for opening the docs on my smartphone so I can't help you here but I'm fairly sure you can

Yes you can, there are vagarious free apps on the market that even offer feature widgets/notes for the screens
Hi there!
Did you already buy a Desire? I've used winmob before and you sound like you're totally schooled at Outlook with usb sync. HTC has exchange service support and you can sync through usb, It was long time ago since I ever used active sync but a friend of mine use it on Desire and he was not satisfied.
There is calendarpad that can show on start screen as activities or regular day view. Editing documents are thought to be done through Google docs as it is thought to be faster than a full scale office program on the phone. You can other wise get quick office premium for editing offline.

Have you thought about using Google Apps for Domains, so that you can use your own domain with Google services?

Anyone figured out how to get these synced? Will it help upgrading my exchange 2007 to 2010?

Apparently these are not supported on WP7
That's what I figured as well - so I might as well have gone for a regular pop account. It's one of the few things I think suck :S

That is easy - your country is not supported.
As well as mine.
It's a tasks app with Exchange 2007+ support. Does miss features I would like (such as live tiles etc) but it's a good start.
Just search the marketplace for Appa Mundi Tasks and you should find it. Costs $3.99 but there's also a trial which supports a maximum of, I think, 6 tasks.
Thanks, bud
also with notes, try using onenote. it's a lot more feature full and can sync between desktop/cloud/phone.
yeah, but it's too feature rich for just small notes...and it's not on my exchange server, so it's kind of undermining the whole exchange sync no matter how you look at it...
Extremely excited to get the SG2 Tomorrow end of day, one question thouw moving from Windows mobile to Android:
what productivity Tool you suggest for android? one that can read Calendars and Tasks in one window....
P.S. does Kies sync Outlook tasks? any idea/ alternative??
thanks in advance
Pocket Informant?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Been using it over windows mobile, but heard its not that good on Android so i am looking for some alternatives if any...
Nothing beats the windows mobile (the old one) in productivity ... specially if you were using pocket breeze..
what I'm doing right now to reduce the gap ... is using pocket informant (calender sync: gamil) (tasks sync: Toodledo) .. and to do so I have companionlink installed on my pc.
I'm considering replacing the Toodledo sync with .. Remember The Milk ...
Widgets .. there are many but nothing come to the level of Pocket Breeze ... however, the Android version of PB is coming soon
ohhh, yes i agree with you. pocket breeze was something on my old HD & HD2 ...and it is great to know there is a version coming soon for android... thanks.
Im using pure calendar widget with gtasks. The widget is a paid app, but really customizable. Gtasks is really nice to create tasks and you can make it work perfectly with Pure calendar widget. I now have a transparent widget with white tasks and my google calendar items in white, except some urgent items that are red. It auto syncs with google tasks and google calendar and it looks quite amazing! I can post some screenshots later if you want.
pure calender looks cool .. but the Gtasks will not help if you want to sync your tasks with outlook ..
Stitch and Tough
thank you very much for the comments. i will surely try that, but yes, i still need something that sync with outlook.
In the latest release of firmware (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) you will find Google Calendar as a default application which will do what you are looking for: strict integration between calendar and scheduled events and, moreover, everything can be managed via your Google account from any device you are using (desktop, laptop, smartphone, etc) and therefore from any location.
Guys
I like evernote but they don't plan to support reminders
Does anybody know of an app that you can add tasks to with reminders but it also syncs to the cloud and accessible via browser? Maybe an app that syncs directly with google calendar?
Thanks

It's basically a calendar app with Evernote integration. It might be what you're looking for,

I've been using a program called gSyncIt on my Windows PC to do this. Its not free but it does the job. Syncs contact lists as well.
play store says no results found, trying outlook. com
Thanks for the googlecalendarsync.rar link was lost without that!:

If you're talking about gSyncit, it's not an Android app. It runs on your PC containing the info you want synced. I believe the 'unregistered' version will sync your main Outlook calendar with your main Google calendar ... which is what Google Calendar Sync does (did), if I remember right.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the unregistered version of gSyncIt (linked above) will do what you are looking for. If you're willing to pay, it opens up a lot more features ... many of them in addition to calendaring functions.

Now that the Google Calendar Sync has stopped working I found a replacement Outlook4Gmail. Although it isn’t free it works great, actually better than Google's own product did.
