I'm new here and have got my self a HTC One X. I have modded it with the new Maximus ROM. I am very happy with normal usage such as watching videos, surfing the net, listening to music etc.. But I noticed the battery runs out very quick when I play games. The games I play are not graphical heavy at all. They are actually the Kairosoft 2D management games. I wanted to know if there is a ROM for the HTC One X that support a good battery life for games. It would help me out a lot.

battery = 2.5 hours screen on time with display @ 25%
a little less can get you 3 hours
Hello, ive installed this Rom

but when i try to play games, it crashes, i.e off-road legends crashes after 3 min of play, most wanted doesn't even start and so on.
Tried different kernels (Lupus and Doomlord) but - still nothing. OC didn't help either.
Is there any way to play games and still have MIUI because i really really like it

Yes, if you intend to continue using it for games, stick to GB ROMs.
Im currently on exodus rom with phantom kernel, I want to play pokemon GO but the game lags like hell, the ram management is also poor. Please suggest a good rom and kernel for this game. My friend with moto g(1st gen) is playing the game without issues. :crying:

im using mokee 5.1 history with stock ..game is working nice without any problem..i use to get problem playing on miui8
it starts lagging when the temp goes up to 60°c, tried to set max clock speed up to 980 but it don't much help. In other hard games allmost the same picture.

Im using noble rom 2.5 on my j2lte, im using it for a month and still not having any problem...but one things that disturb me is i cant play any heavy games like angry bird 2, the game stuck at title and didnt loading..any way on how to fix this?
No offense mate, but J2 has low specs. If you want to play heavy games, you should buy a faster phone/phone with higher specs.

I think it's a problem of rom..CZ I have played the game on stock rom and many more like ASPHALT, GT RACING, GANGSTAR VEGAS, GTA etc. And everything works flawlessly...the performance of ur game depends on ur CPU usage and ram usage by normal apps.

Hey I wanna ask that ur camera is working or not. I reflashed the rom but the error still persists
It's not the ROM, I have the same phone and I've been looking for deep details of it... It haves a super basic graphic processor, the MALI-T720... Single core at 600Mhz... Nothing to do with it, it's just crap... I thought it was a good phone for gaming too, but it isn't, but for "normal" tasking does the job...
The j2 prime runs heavy games like a champ, i was amazed when world of tanks ran at 60fps on low/med quality. Yes i know about the qhd screen, but the device is fast, way faster than my snapdragon 615 ones.

I successfully can run any game with zero lag (50-60 fps) on my cheap j200bt stock rom. What I did is (Deleted all the bloatware apps, flashed pico gApps, flashed microG, flashed gltools, I disabled DVFS via xposed, installed 100m+ memory saver via xposed, deleted facebook and messenger, and flashed KITANA.zip and govtuner.zip & set the mod on terminal emulator.)

I have installed Android P custom rom recently (tried a few) and Im having issues when playing battle royale games like PUBG or ROS. Everytime I play and accidentaly touch the fingerprint scanner the game would force close. This only happens with battle royale games.
I have followed the installtion procedure of the roms correctly but nothing works, I still encounter the same problem.
Please help...
I have installed lineage OS 16. And I play PUBG, no such occurences though. It's rather smooth, almost seems like the phone came with the ROM.
