[Q] Reckless Racing 2 stutters, help?

Hi,
One of the first games I bought for my HOX is Reckless Racing 2, problem is: it stutters slightly. It's not that much, but enough to make it frustrating to play. Anyone have any idea how to fix this ? It seems to me the HOX should be able to easily run this game.
This is the only game where I have this problem.
My HTC is at stock rom, and I'm using Nova launcher

Hello, i play this game too and have no stuttering at all. Everything is nice and fluid ...
but don't know what can cause that except another task using CPU for example.
Make sur you don't have any application in background syncing or uploading something ...

To my knowledge there is nothing running in the background. But even then, this device has a Quad core, unless something pretty heavy is running, it should be able to handle that, no ?
What tool can I use to check if something is running in the background that uses cpu ?

Go to settings> Apps> Downloaded> Reckless> Clear Data and Force Stop. (If you dont want to delete your gamedata then just clear cache and force stop). Now reboot and launch the app.
OR
Redownload app, reboot, and launch the app. Then report back

since its running in low detailes mod, blurry textures, no shader effects no nothing
clumsy port

I cleared the cache and rebooted and it is indeed better. Not perfect, but better & playable.
Do you have an explanation as well ?

I just downloaded the game, its runs perfectly without any lag !

[Q] High-end Game lags

Today I just downloaded the game "Dungeon Hunter 4", an RPG that some of you may have heard. I saw a video on YouTube an Xperia Z playing the game flawlessly in what I think is in the highest graphic settings. But my problem is, the max video quality I can set is medium, and more annoyingly, IT STILL LAGS A LOT.
Is there something I did wrong? Stock, rooted. I don't know if this is an optimization issue or what, but considering how very similar the two phones are, how hard is it (or if it's even a problem) to optimize it for the ZL. I'm quite disappointed right now

I dunno about yours but mine runs flawlessly. No tweaks. Stock Rom and kernel, rooted via doomlord method, and no changes in the setting after downloading.

Can you check the max graphic configuration you can set in settings? Mine only goes medium at the highest

If ur rooted... download greenify from playstore(by oasis feng)...and greenify all the apps you don't want to run in the background(all apps including games as well except for messaging apps you'll get notifications from)
The less apps running in the background the better the mobile will perform while playing high end games

Yup, I already have greenify installed and running. The problem seems to be in the optimization of the game for my phone model (c6503). Not very sure though

Dude. i play graphic hungry games a lot in my ZL with all settings maxed out. plays perfectly without any lags. May be a repair might solve your problem

Mediapad m2 8.0: Playing Game Laggy

Hi anyone having laggy issue when playing game like clash royale?, Everytime i started to play game, at starting it will lag, then become smooth after awhile and lag again after sometime. Anyone having same issue?

I have no issues with clash royal. It's running always smoothely.
Any other games where u have problems?
I play COC, CR and Boom Beach. All are perfect

Other games also starting will lag.

you can try and make a factory reset and earase internal storage. Maybe there was a problem or something.
Gets your device hot when you start the game?
How about a benchmark program? Did you make a test and compare to other results on youtube e.g.
Maybe some hardware error or sth. like that.

i tested with AnTuTu benchmark v6.1.4 and i get 53410, how about yours?

Ah just saw ur pn and replied to you. With antutu i got 47514. So from this side it looks okay. Hardware have no issues.
But then I have no idea what could be the problem on your device. My other games are running smoothly, only vainglory is a little laggy.
I am sorry man, I have no other ideas to help you.

Did you enable the Perfomance Mode in Battery settings?
I haven't played Asphalt yet, but I play Real Racing 3. This app is running very smoothly without any issues.
You can try this one and reply what happens.

Asphalt 8 lags like hell even with performance mode on

its asphalt 8 not the device it is rather optimised and lags on most devices, source from YouTube videos of others playing it on some high end devices.
Possibly the device is not switching to the 2.0ghz a53 part of the octocore?
Question, how well does it run world of tanks blitz?

Best Rom for pokemon GO?

Im currently on exodus rom with phantom kernel, I want to play pokemon GO but the game lags like hell, the ram management is also poor. Please suggest a good rom and kernel for this game. My friend with moto g(1st gen) is playing the game without issues. :crying:

im using mokee 5.1 history with stock ..game is working nice without any problem..i use to get problem playing on miui8

it starts lagging when the temp goes up to 60°c, tried to set max clock speed up to 980 but it don't much help. In other hard games allmost the same picture.

Hi ... I am using LingerOS on redmi 1s & I never found any issue on gaming , although there is a bit heating issue but its not severe :good:

I'm experiencing severe lag on graphics intensive games (Asphalt 8, even N.O.V.A:Legacy). I'm on stock kernel and even if I'm running at 1.6 Ghz, the game still stutters. N.O.V.A is a really lightweight game and still has too much delay and stutters. I haven't tried other graphics intensive games, although I think all of them would be the same.

Try wiping cache data and clearing internal storage almost 2 GB should be free ...

You can also try FolderMount(app in play store) to move apps to external storage if your device is rooted . If you have LingerOS ROM it should be pre-rooted... This may help

Gaming on redmi 1s is not a good idea the only heavy game i was able to run was real racing 3 at low graphic.For some reason games loke asphalt 8 and nova legacy gaved fc and never started since few months and its a device problem as it doesn't launch even on stock rom even after having 2 gb of free space.I would suggest games like traffic racer and traffic rider which run perfectly

Yup or may be game developer because nova legacy is a low end game but still its doesn't start and games like gangster vegas and real racing are playable at low graphic with few hiccups but asphalt 8 would start but fc on launching race events
