Viper4Android / Root - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

Hey guys, I want to install Viper4Android on my A50 and there is this known error that, if you reboot your phone normally, you lose root permission. If you reboot it via magisk or manually power off and power it on again, that root permission stays. So i now have the problem that i need to install the viper4android drivers, but if i install them the phone reboots automatically and I lose magisk. Is there any possible way to make that work, disable auto reboot after driver installation or install viper4android in another way?

Unrooting procedure:
Yes,there is an un-rooting procedure also for this mobile. We should appreciate the work done by the developers. To unroot, simply follow the steps below.

That's it.Your phone has been successfully unrooted.

I tried to unroot my phone using the unroot option in SuperSu but after a reboot its still there. Best way i found was to use TWRP recovery mode. Make sure thats installed then....
Boot your phone to TWRP recovery mode by turn off your phone then presses Vol up + Power to boot into bootloader then choose RECOVERY. There is a more simple way, by using “adb reboot recovery”.
Once came into TWRP main menu, now tap Mount -> Mount system then taps Home.
Tap Advanced -> File Manager, browse to “/system/xbin” folder. From there delete su, daemonsu or busybox if it exists. Also browse to “/system/app” the get rid of Superuser.apk.
Hope that helps
thx to all, in the end i finally choose to re root with aio toolkit and put android revolution rom

Viper4Android driver asks to be installed always

Running Iron rom on my Samsung Galaxy tab which I love but I can't get viper configured correctly. I ran the busy box install first and then opened viper which it prompts to install the driver. No matter which type I chose it will say install successful and please reboot. After reboot I go check again and it prompts me again to install. Any ideas? I did a clean install of Iron rom.
Same issue, not fixed for me, I'm on Stock ROM with a modified kernel set to permissive. Don't know what to do.
Download this app from the Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux&hl=en
and then run the app and set it to Permissive. Once that's done reboot your computer. Once your computer reboot, then install Viper4Android like normal. Once you reboot your computer again, you will not have to install the drivers again. That's how I got that to stop.......

[ROOT][10.6.A.0.454][5.0.2][LB] Get SuperSU

Finally, we can get our loved supersu following this steps:
1) Root with KingRoot.- Download KingRoot's apk, install it and root your device.
2) Install SuperSU, open it and allow root permission.
3) Install ZL-lockeddualrecovery.
4) Download Flashable BusyBox, boot into recovery and flash it. (I recomend Stericson's Busybox)
5) Download Flashable SuperSU, boot into recovery and flash it.
6) Get this app anywhere you want --> SUPER-SUME PlayStore Link Works v7.3 & v7.8. Run it and touch big blue button.
7) Go to SuperSu app and normal update SuperSu binary. if doesn´t work, do the step 5 again.
Reboot and DONE!
Hi, i can't run this method. i checked everything and it's all right, i rooted with kingroot , installed supersu and granted root acces, installed the adb drivers and run xzlockeddualrecovery installer, i tried all the options and none works, it stucks at waiting for device in first step

"superuser binary is out of date" but wont update

i just rooted my s6, and i DO have root access, but when i try to open superuser (that was installed along with the root) it says "superuser binary out of date" and asks how i want to update it. The only options it gives me is Cancel and Recovery. If i choose recovery it boots into recovery then does nothing. I found the updated version of superuser online and transeferred it to my phone and flashed it thorug TWRP. Still says it. I tried installing supersu and when i open it it says "su binary is occupied" so i used an uninstaller to uninstall superuser, and supersu still says binary is occupied. So i reinstalled superuser but now i dont know what else to do to get my superuser app to work? Any ideas? TIA
I don't know how comfortable you would feel about this, but a lot of us have moved on to using Magisk: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
There are two parts, Magisk itself and the Magisk Manager.
Recommended path is to return to Stock, install TWRP via Odin but don't reboot. Instead shut down, reboot directly to Recovery and flash Magisk. Usually on first boot you will get a prompt to install Magisk Manager, do that and you are set.
Before you do that, take some time to read about Magisk. It is similiar to SusperSu, but allows you to conceal that you are rooted. (A feature that you enable within the manager.) I find it a great improvement.
ohhhh. i get it now. the method i used to root was with magisk. it prompted me to install it when it booted up so i did but didnt really go look at the magisk manager. i didnt realize that was what handles the su. thats why it says its occupied

Moto G5 stuck in bootloop

So, I wanted to have Internal Audio Only option in my ScreenCam Screen Recorder App, and it say that it requires a Magisk module, so I managed to unlock bootloader and install TWRP Recovery in my device so I could root my device with Magisk. As I tried to root my phone with Magisk, it didn't work, so I look up in YouTube for some tutorials on how to do so. Then I watched a tutorial with a device that has a SuperSU if I'm correct, and I have made a confusion on my mind, looking for a tutorial for rooting my device with SuperSU, followed it and downloaded and installed a SuperSU from an unofficial source. After rebooting my device, I ended up with a bootloop. I tired reformatting my device with TWRP, it didn't work, I tried removing the battery and turning it on, it also didn't work. I tried erasing userdata, it didn't work as well. With only the TWRP Recovery, a laptop that I could only use on weekends and little knowledge of solutions for these type of situations, what should I do?

Supersu is very old and will not work with modern roms - it will break safetynet too as it's not systemless
All you have to do is in twrp
On first install & run of twrp make sure you swipe to allow modifications to system
Goto wipe
Select format data (option on the right)
Reboot back to twrp
Goto wipe - advanced wipe
Wipe system data cache
Install rom zip eg lineageos 17.1
Flash gapps - for lineageos 17.1 select open gapps android 10 arm64 nano
Flash magisk from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/
Wipe cache/delvik
Restart
