Headphones unplugged and Audio continues playing - Motorola One Action Questions & Answers

As the title says. Is there anyway to automatically pause audio when earphones/ headphones are unplugged? It is very annoying and I don't see why this device has it.

[Q] Can music be dimmed and not interrupted during notifcation?

I notice that when i'm playing music and a notification comes in.... my music abruptly stops and has some static sound while the notification sound plays and then my music resumes again..... to be honest... it's pretty pathetic.... especially the static that's associated....
Can any developer actually come up with a dimming effect or a concurrent audio playing?
I remember that audio couldn't be played in parallel in the early 90s... but surely someone must have found a way to fix this by now? anyone?

They consider it as a feature. Android in general handels playing audio simultaneously pretty well. You can for example play music through the music.app and play audio through a piano app.

This annoys me as well. Used to be perfect on my Desire with CM7

Would love a solution to this.
This depends totally on the player, at least that's how I always experienced it.
At any rate, I'm using IceCold AOKP combined with Google Play Music - (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nb29nbGUuYW5kcm9pZC5tdXNpYyJd) , and notifications only dim music, as you would expected.

I don't think thats a bug. The equalizer will reset to normal if u detach the earphones, as it works only with earphones (i.e with 3.5mm audio jack).
About skipping/ stuttering music, i've not had this problem except when playing via bluetooth.

Yes, it should if each time you use the audio jack (or bluetooth?) for listening to music (i.e attach headphones & then run the music player). But if you set an equalizer (say rock), then detach headphones & play music via phone inbuilt speakers, then equalizer resets itself to normal. Also, if u set it to rock even without headphones and then end the app, it would reset to normal when played again. I've noticed this on all stock samsung roms so far (currently on latest 4.1.2 India XXDLL4).

Oh ok. That really seems buggy music player for you! Anyway, try clearing data/ cache of music player & musicFX app using application manager followed by a reboot. Ignore, if you already did that.

[QUESTION] Google Play Music switches audio from headphones to speaker when unlocked

While playing music on my un-rooted Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII, every time I unlock my phone the music switches from the headphones I have plugged in to the phone's speaker. When I un-plug and re-plug he headphones or pause and play the music, it switches back into the headphones. This issue is very debilitating as I am often listening to music in quiet places and it's embarrassing when my music starts blaring. Thanks for your help.

I have the opposite problem. When I listen to music on my headphones the music switches to the speakers when the phone locks. I guess you never figured this out. I know my problem is due to the lockscreen app "Widget Locker". When I deactivate it the problem goes away. Guess I'll head over to the widget locker thread and poke around. I'm on an S3 as well.
Edit:
I found a cool workaround by using the Tasker app. I made a profile which disables Widget Locker when i plug my headphones in and enables it when i unplug them. Seems to work pretty flawlessly.
Do you have gapless playback??

[Q] Pairs, but no sound in BT headphones

My Sony Smartwatch 3 pairs with bluetooth devices without problems. I've got a Sony Ericsson BT headset (MW600) that it connects to. When I play songs from google Play Music the title of the song appears in the display on the headphones, and everything looks alright. Nothing is muted. But there is no sound, at all. Just silence. The song is playing (says both the watch and the headset) and the volume is cranked up. But nothing. I've tried pairing the watch with my Bose bluetooth speaker, and the same thing happens... Any ideas?
Happens to me sometimes. Usually rebooting the watch fixes it.

.. When it happens on mine I pause and then resume and it starts working
I am having the same issue. I can connect no problem but I just can't hear anything. I have tried rebooting the watch and when I select google play it asks me if I want to play it on the phone or the device, I select device and click play but nothing happens. I have also tried to pause then play again and still no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? TIA
Fix for Sony Smart watch 3 not playing music a cross bluetooth
Hi. I had the exact same problem. I finally sorted it out, even went jogging without my phone and had music playing over my bluetooth headsets.
Your needing to convert the songs to .mp3 and re upload and sync the songs. You'll most likely need to remove all songs of the watch and then re select the songs you want on, making sure those are the converted .mp3 songs.

Question Stereo speakers strange sound

So I got the phone yesterday. Very exciting experience to be honest. But there's something that I don't quite understand. When I play a YouTube video, a song or whenever the stereo speakers are used, they make a strange continuous sound or something, it's not loud, it's just there. I don't know if this is the way it works on all these phones, or should I go and change it for another one. Please let me know if all of you guys have this sound of nothing coming from the stereo speakers.
I'm getting the strange sound as well when the speakers are used. Its pretty much there regardless on what volume I'm on (Except 0 volume of course) but it stops when I pause a video/music. Then when I start playing again, the sound starts to come back.

it is dolby atmos problem you don't like that noise , going to sound option and turn off the dolby atmos.
Hmm... No problem at all with my device (stock MIUI 12.0.5.0 Global), with or without Dolby Atmos.
I suggest further testing with apps such this:
Function Generator
I have same problem with my F3, weird noise while using Dolby Atmos on speakers, did not check on headset.
No issue when Atmos is off.
