Hello, was wondering if anyone knew if the Xfinity Mobile version (A505-U) will work on SPRINT once it is unlocked by Xfinity?
Device currently says it won't work with Sprint, nor it's MVNO's which makes sense since it is currently locked. But once it is officially UNLOCKED........will it appear in Sprint's database as compatible?
Thanks in advance.

I have an S5 that I'm about to trade for the LG G3, however, the guy is using it on ATT and claims it's originally from Verizon and is unlocked, hence, why it's working on ATT.
My question is, will this device work on TMobile? I live in Miami, FL if it matters.
I would recommend sell S5 and buy T-Mobile branded G3, or trade for one. You can do either on swappa.com.

If its Verizon branded then it should be unlocked in which case yes any GSM carrier. I'm pretty sure all new Verizon smartphones are global these days.
All LTE Verizon phones released in the last few years are gsm capable and can work on tmob and at. The S5 can also. Just need to switch to global and for data add the correct APN settings

Will the unlock version work with T-mobile LTE?
HTC site doesn't mention 2100mhz while T-mobile does.

the bootloader is unlocked. and honestly, you have to try out the service in your area. download the sensorly app to get an idea but you have to try it. remebr there is a 14 day return windows if the service doesn't work and you can go back to at&T. ive personally bought the tmobile S6 edge and now waiting for unlocks to be available. i use cricket wireless which is AT&T based. my area has fantastic tmobile coverage and am in a wideband area so speeds are fantastic. but thats my area. i bought the tmobile version to swtich between tmobile and att based companies and have all LTE bands and everything working on both carriers. and also because of the unlocked bootloader
Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm if the T mobile version of the s6 Edge is factory unlocked , like how the T mobile iPhones are ?

T-Mobile iPhones are not unlocked if purchased directly from T-Mobile. If you purchase iPhone from Apple in the T-Mobile variation (which is the same model as the Verizon version), it will be unlocked.
So I'm like 99% certain the S6 does not come unlocked from T-Mobile, like all other T-Mobile phones.

lte data will work on verizon's network but cdma voice will get rejected on verizons network
No, absolutely not unlocked. Actually a bunch of threads on the subject already... the phone is currently unlockable unless you are a LONG standing t-mobile customer
I'm am looking to pick up an unlocked HTC 10 to work on the at&t network. I know if I get an unlocked Sprint version I will be missing some bands that at&t runs on. Is this the same with an unlocked Verizon version? What about an unlocked T-Mobile variant? I have been searching for a few days but haven't found anything info on unlocked verizon and T-Mobile versions. Only the Sprint version.
Thanks in advance.

The Sprint version's bands can be unlocked to run on Sprint. See this thread.
That said, I'd much rather do the T-Mobile version, it's easier to flash it to be fully unlocked. I also don't like that the VZ version has branding on it.

Just get a US unlocked htc 10. I did the same and I'm having no issues on at&t. I've had the phone since August. I paid about 350 for the phone. I was lucky and was able to get a phone that a was already s-offed and bootloader unlocked. Look on swappa screw amazon and ebay, they can't be trusted.

To use the Verizon variant on AT&T or other gsm networks with all bands available you'd have to s-off and convert to unlocked variant.
