Guide to have official Huawei Health installed as main app and Huawei Health Beta as app to change watchfaces. Both installed at the same time on the same device.
Tested in G9700, Galaxy S10e, Android 9. NO ROOT.
(1) Uninstall Huawei Health app if you have a previous installation.
(2) Install Huawei Health Beta, version 10.0.1.021-wearBeta.

Open the app, create a new Huawei ID, region China (mandatory), a reachable email and a phone number, no matter the country. A code will be sent to this number to verify the account. You can use one number from here. https://sms-receive.net/
(3) You will be prompted to install Huawei Mobile Services from Play Store. Do it. Do not update the Beta to newer versions. In this beta app you can change watchfaces, but the one you install will remove the previous. So far it is not possible to have more than one watchface in your device.
(4) Link your watch. Disable auto syncronize and notifications to avoid conflicts with official app.
(4) Install App Cloner. https://appcloner.app/
(5) Run the app. Clone Huawei Heath Beta and install it. Select "Show system Apps" and clone Huawei Mobile Services, then install. No special options, just clone and install both of them.
(6) Uninstall Beta. Install oficial Huawei Health from Play Store. Login with your main mail and phone number. This will be your daily account.
Done. Both apps working on the same device. One for the daily usage, the beta for changing watchfaces.
Done it but it doesn't work. I have huawei mate 20 pro and it doesn't ask me to install mobile services because I already have them. Other than that, I have done everything as described. Even verify it with Chinese number. Only thing that looks strange to me is that even though I have registered new account and verified it whit Chinese number and set region to china when I go to help it give sme Norwegian call center (I'm from Norway) so I assume it takes some data from other sources / apps of my phone not just those I provided during registration. It probably should work if I delete all data from system apps on my phone?
Edit: cleared cache on all huawei system apps, installed again and verified again and worked 2x and then I got unable to install watch face. And then lost that option to install new watch face. And then I tried everything and nothing worked and then I just updated app through app itself and I got watch face store so now I have a lot of faces in recommended side that I can install just with one click works fine, some of them are paid, but still lot of free.
I guess it should work regardless of having GT/GT2?

Go to accessibility and then under downloaded services give permission to app cloner install service. This helped me a little bit.
After some tried, I can open Health clone app but still stuck at this screen after choose China region

I believe that's problem with that huawei mobile services app. Try to clone it again, or try some different settings. If it get some recommendations while making clone, try yo do it.

Thx for the idea but it seems not double. Indeed i can duplicate the beta then install oficial but in beta then I get only the Chinese store and can't get install section after all that I tried. It works in secure folder but only if I have beta running also on main. Opened to new ideas at the moment
Update: and I can't get normal themes section loading on main app if I keep beta in secure folder

I appreciate the help but still a no go for me. The app you added is not supporting my gt 2 and in the end I get back to updating it . At this moment I am out of ideas even with Samsung's secure folder help, only switch back and forth . Shouldn't this be easy to develop in a custom app only to upload faces?
I've updated my watch faces, but my notifications don't work anymore. Any solution?

lastest official whatsapp from playstore works just fine. it just showed device not supported when u open it directly, but if u create a shortcut or widget of any whatsapp contact or group on homescreen then u can open and use it from there. or open it from fastlane history.

there seems to be some issue with build.prop for which the official updated whatsapp and fb app does not work.
I found that Baidu cloud rom beta 49, both whatsapp and fb works out of the box, no mod required.
however, stock rom and all other custom rom does not support the official apps.
the problem seems to be within the given part of build.prop file

If we replace this whole part with a build.probp of a rom which already supports ( Eg: Baidu Beta 49 build.prop) whatsapp and fb...it seems to be working.

Updated versions of Whatsapp show an error message when opened directly. But Whatsapp is still accessible in Nokia X range devices. You may use any of these possible solutions.
1. You may open Whatsapp by accessing fastlane history like mdfzhi directed. This will open the conversations directly.
2. Whatsapp+ works just fine if you follow the below steps.
-> Install Whatsapp
-> Open it through fastlane history and send some whatsapp messages to friends
-> And it is better if u make a message backup
-> Uninstall Whatsapp
-> Install Whatsapp+
3. Changing the build.prop file might fix the problem but it might lead to unwanted issues later. Inorder to change the build.prop you would have to root your phone, which voids warranty. If you are willing to take the risk, it is better advised that you install a custom rom rather than trying to just change the build.prop file.
Considering your problem, I would recommend using the 2nd method by installing whatsapp plus. This might solve your problem.

Solution: u have to try the alternate
just download whatsapp plus 5.80 version from google.
its working.
1st of all u have to install whatsapp from 1mobile market or google store or whatever.............
confirm ur phone number, after u continue, it says "device not supported"
now uninstall whatsapp..... after that install the whatsapp plus 5.80 u just downloaded
verify ur phone number and all done

I deleted the browser and replaced with Chrome. The dialer is fine with me.

For me the ultimate solution would be either installing a custom Rom or if/when Lenovo release a global Stock Rom.

Problem solved. It's a modified version of the system, these apps have been removed and when installing them manually they didn't work.
You can install the original ROM, without having to root or anything, just google for '[HOWTO] Flash a Stock ZUI ROM (ZUK Z2 Pro Z2121 only!)', should be the first result.
make sure to use method 2, method 1 won't work, put the downloaded files in folders with short names on C:\ and don't use space or any symbols in the folder names. Also download the files from the link of the second method, not the first one, the password for the archive is
club.lenovo.com.cn

The system will be in chinese, with english available (for english language go to settings, then the option with the cog symbol, then second option, then first option), the translation for other languages were horrible anyway. You will have the newest version of the software with all the app, including U-Health etc. You will also be able to get future updates on the phone itself, which isn't possible with the 'international ROM'. Also stuff like permission manager will work, but you have to install the google apps yourself, which is very easy after googling for a tutorial.

When I try to check if there is a new upgrade a message appears in my mobile.
The message said: Your mobile has been root, isn't available upgrade.
Do you know if the mobile is rooted when you do the flashing with the method that you posted.

I don't get that message, for me it just says 'No Update available' and Rootchecker also says, that I don't have root access.
Maybe the shop you bought it from rooted it? You could try unrooting it.
Also when you want to update with the System Update app, you need to be connected to a chinese VPN

If the shop rooted it then it likely has a reseller ROM.
Hi all, not sure if anyone has seen this yet but over on the Chinese Huawei site (Pollen Club) they have the Beta Health app and they are already playing with new watch faces.
First you need to create a Chinese Huawei ID (use the bottom link to get a SMS code via a Chinese number), Log into it on your phone.
Uninstall your current health app and install the beta version, open it and connect the watch..
Create a face (Via the Guide link) and add it to DCIM via the hi suite desktop.
Open the new beta app, click "watch faces" and you'll see a + in the top right, scroll down to "Files" and then DCIM and select the face.
go back and select "mine" and its in there. You can then log out of the Chinese profile and back into your own and the newly added face is there.

I installed the beta application but now Huawei Health Beta cannot connect with the watch.
I tried uninstalling the application to go back to earlier version and seems like it is also not possible.
Anyone facing the same problem? any solutions for this?

does anyone have newer version of health app because the 9.0.5.305 version does not work for me. When I select the watchface and want to upload, it does nothing. I updated the version to newer /I think it was 9.0.5.313/ and it worked fine. Today the app updated to 9.0.6.322 and the + sign dissapeared. So I would like to try 9.0.5.313 and see if it works. Does anyone have this one?

I did not get the 9.0.5.313 app. I just assume that after the 305 version was another one. Because I updated it on the phone. But I forgot to take note what version it was. And I browsed some forums and saw that there was Health_9.0.5.313-wearBeta.apk so I assume this might be the one I had.. The new version 9.0.6.322 does not have the + button to add custom watch faces

And wathfaces files must be outside of download folder, Best on root of your phone.

You must put watchface outside of download folder
I have registered for an ID using the attached links to chinese numbers, i tried several before it would work and i used the email register rather than phone register.
Once you setup the ID download the beta app and do not update as the + sign will disappear, once you find the watch face you like, you need to push the .hwt file to your phone and place it in the DCIM folder, press the + sign and then this will install the new face.
NEW VERSION - WatchFaceEnabler3. apk
It works with all 10.xxx versions(including 10.0.1.0.30beta or last official version from googlplay)
how to:
install attached apk(WatchFaceEnabler3. apk)
enable IT in xposed
restart
in Huawei Health add faces, click to 3 dots and install the face.
(if you don't see the 3 dots, click to search button+write something to searchbox)

no, mobile service can be uninstalled/installed freely.
It is curious, i tested it on many devices, android versions... it works very well..

I did with virtual exposed but then health doesnt work because it says network isnt connected. Any fix?
If you start the Health outside the VirtualXposed, it works? If yes, open the VirtualXposed and clone your installed Health app to xposed "Add App->CloneApps->check the "Huawei Mobile Services" and "Huawei Health beta".
Please, make a video tutorial how to make it works properly
These guys are correct, virtualxposed is not allowing the health app to boot properly, if it does then it just stays on initiation screen. UPDATE! Just managed to get it working on a different phone, strange that the S10 wouldn't work but a Blackview A30 did. Have already added a custom face aswell. Thankyou developer
1. install Huawei Health beta, start it, app reguire Huawei Mobile Serivces, install it from google play
2.install my Xposed module - WatchFaceEnabler.apk
3. install virtualXposed, start it, and add (clone to xposed) this 3 apk - HuaweiHealt beta, Hawei Mobile Serivces, WatchFaceEnabler
4. in xposed module manager enable WatchFaceEnabler - restart xposed. (within application, press restart)
5. within virtualXposed start the Huawei health...
6. login with any Huawei ID, add watches, click on Wtchafaces and there is a "+" button right up.
I can create video, if it necessary...

1. install Huawei Health beta, start it, app reguire Huawei Mobile Serivces, install it from google play
2.install my Xposed module - WatchFaceEnabler.apk
3. install virtualXposed, start it, and add (clone to xposed) this 3 apk - HuaweiHealt beta, Hawei Mobile Serivces, WatchFaceEnabler
4. in xposed module manager enable WatchFaceEnabler - restart xposed. (within application, press restart)
5. within virtualXposed start the Huawei health...
6. login with any Huawei ID, add watches, click on Wtchafaces and there is a "+" button right up.

No, newest official version of Huawei Health not work. The Beta version apk from first post is necessary. But your data is "safe" in your huawei cloud. So you can install/uninstall any Huawei health applications. If you use the same huawei ID, your data will be updated from Huawei cloud...
How you are adding many faces together
Huawei health in my side install only one and if i installed another one in the app. The previous one get removed

Edit: using virtual exposed
Having an issue with connecting the watch. Pairing shows up on the watch and pairs successfully, but the phone doesn't see the pairing from the watch but does show up in the devices as connected. After that, the app crashes once I press on it in devices

Yes, Huawei Health allows to install only one custom face. But it no problem to add all your faces to phone, and install whatever you want.

After uninstalling official Huawei Health and restarting the P30, after enabling the installation of apps from third parties, I tried to install some versions of Huawei Health mod, the latest of which: "HealthMod v.12.0.7.360", both with the standard Huawei android installer and with the "SAI" third party package installer, but I get the error:
"App not installed
A newer version of this package is already installed "
What did I do wrong or forgot? How can I solve? Maybe root is needed?

Hello, Maybe in Huawei phones, Huawei Health can only be desactivate. The solution could be to uninstall the app with ADB, then install the modded version
