9750 or 9760 on Verizon network? - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

If my research has served me correct this is the China snap dragon variant that will allow a unlocked bootloader. I currently have the Verizon 5g model and I want to obviously root it but it is not possible. I don't think the 9760 is capable to run on Verizon's 5G.. maybe in the future though if they add other 5g bands?
Has anyone used this device on Verizon network? Does this device have any drawbacks on the Verizon or do all their Network features work? Do I have to flash Verizon firmware?

What did you have to do to get it working on Verizon? Have you rooted and everything yet? Sorry I'm just about to purchase this phone and just trying to get things figured out this time before I buy [emoji28]

Yes I have root. Just go to the weta thread after gaining root when installing the rom with magisk it will ask what service you want to connect to and install the proper files for you.

[Q] How can I enable tethering on Stock ROM

I like the stock ROM, and I'm trying to figure out how to root it now (browsing threads looking for the easiest to follow method) but I'd like to know, once rooted, how can I enable tethering? I have unlimited data, and don't want to switch. I rarely use tethering, but I like the option. Thanks
Your signature suggests you are using a Verizon S3. Do you also have an at&t model? If not, check out the Verizon S3 boards for better support and the correct firmware and mods.
Ah derp. I have AT&T now using a plan that was grandfathered. I'll fix that

[Q] root for verizon t807v?

ok. There are no threads here about any successful rooting of the t807v. There is a site (it kinda looks like a bot) called srsroot that claims it can root the t807v (VRU1ANK1)
Has anyone used srsroot before?
I believe the issue you face is a locked bootloader in typical Verizon fashion if I recall.

What can we do about this? I had no idea I wasn't going to be able to root when I bought this tablet otherwise I wouldn't have. Is there anyway it can be done? I'd pay someone, I mean I'd be willing to give 100$ possibly more... I don't know as much as most around here but I feel like it someone could do it.

if you want root you most likely have to wait until someone finds root for the note 4 or s6 (verizon variants)..
for example, when the verizon s5 was rooted, the root worked for most older versions and devices as well.. I dont think there is many devs working to root this tablet as there are working to root the vzw note 4.

If anyone with a t807v is on the build prior to NK1, let me know or provide us with the .tar file is possible and I think I found a method that would work to root the device.
ping pong root
Ping pong root works wonders to root the verizon s6 edge. I'm guessing they can do something with this piece as well?

Do you think T707v would behave the same? They both have s800 I believe. You can easily find ng7 .tar for t707v.

Is it Possible to install a T-Mobile ROM on AT&T G3?

I'm changing my service from Cricket to TMo and was wondering if it was possible to load a TMo ROM on my AT&T G3. Reason I want to do this is so that I can get the wifi calling feature. Can this be done? Thx!!
As far as I'm aware it can't. It would probably brick the phone.

True but on the Pixel Experience site I see there is an assigned maintainer for 10 beta on 7t, may see that for our device soon?

Exynos or Snapdragon which platform device is friendly to root user?

my requirement is simply root my device with Magisk based on offical stock image, no need flash the custom rom. Meanwhile, it would be better that the root project is maintable and continous for the developer and user, as I previously use note8 Snapdragon device, and it became unfriendly and hard to get rooted while the system upgrade to Android 9, which impact me a lot.. thus I seeking advice from everyone here.:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Overall, I found 2 main guidances for 2 different chip devices, see as below:
Exynos (N975N (South Korea)):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga.../recovery-twrp-galaxy-note-10-exynos-t3962219
Snapdragon (SM-N9750/ international version):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/development/recovery-twrp-3-3-1-snapdragon-t3975603
any advice from you guys? :)
