In my Connection Setup its shows only UK in country list is it possible to change that?
I bought the lock handset from UK and unlock this handset here only.
i Brought this phone 10 days back(E988 India) , everything was working fine.
I rooted my phone .
Next day In the morning i saw 2g signals were there but Edge/internet wasnt working
So i selected WCDMA , now the 3g signals were coming and internet is working ever since
BUT when i am trying to come back to 2G by selecting GSM I am getting no signals ?:crying:
I tried other sim cards 2g for them is also not working on my phone suddenly.
I tried Factory reset thrice , didnt work , I trid unrooting and then reset , Still no solution , What to do ? I am able to get 3G signals but not 2G which is very strange. HELP !!

Have you tried a hard reset? It sounds like a firmware issue with your baseband if you are noticing a change in your signals. It could be that flashing back to a stock rom is not reverting it. I'm not sure if this would work but you could try doing an "LG" hard reset. This supposedly will reset the entire phones contents and erase everything on the phone. There are instructions for this direct from LG for your phone.

I'm not 100% on any of this so please take it with a grain of salt. I'm going based off experience with my LG980.

Hard Reset Doesn't Help My Friend , I have done that.
Now i am thinking of flashing a new BB , I could find E98810a BB , is there any newer one for India?
Can i flash any E988 BB be it from HK or India?

but problem still appear
and network still sometime fail

Check with your Huawei service in your country. Maybe they have firmware optimized for Jordan.

I taken my phone to huawei service center twice first time it installed firmware b118 but problem still appear
and second time t installed firmware b132 and problem still appear

But does every user in Jordan have this problem ? Do you get the service fine with other phones ? You can then identify whether its problem with hardware or software or the network provider. If its not fine yet, then take to Huawei and demand them to pay back your money or replace it with a new P7

I have same problem in Latvia.
In my work when phone lose connection some time it wont connect back. Phone connect back only after restart.
At moment i swiched on only 2G signal and phone connect back when signal is avilable.
u can try it out !
I had same problem on my phone before P6 on LG L7, so i think its not phone problem, but its provider BUG !!

I Just got my Lenovo P2a42 , was playing with an app called " Activity launcher" to hide the screen orientation using demo mode activity, thus i got nosy some how .. and changed the band to USA without knowing .
end result which only happened on Sim Slot 1
1. i cant make or receive calls
2. can send SMS and access internet using sim slot 1
3. when making a call , a message appears :" cellular network not available"
I have tried other Sim cards on slot 1 , and nothing working (no calls)
tried slot 2 and all is working great
any suggestion on what to do to restore the phone Radio band to its non US band ? I am not located in USA , I'm in UAE
I'm on android Nougat , non-rooted , phone is carrier free

At dialer press "*#*#4636#*#*" then phone information and press top right three dots. There is an option for area band. Choose your area. I'm not sure if this will solve your problem but try it

Flash twrp recovery and flash either the stock rom or custom. Just google for the links. If your bootloader isn't unlocked you will have to wait 14 days. Hope it helps

Change your CSC code to USA, then you can download and install update, then change CSC back... It works and the recovery menu don't show any change in warranty check (at least on my watch)
