NOTE10 (N976N Exynos9825) WIFI performance quality defect....... - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

Network environment: 802.11AX and LAN
Device: AX88U
NOTE10: OS Samsung official
The normal LAN speed of the mobile phone is as follows:

When the mobile phone is watching a movie on the local area network and continues to fast forward, when the mobile phone slightly heats up. WIFI speed is severely reduced.
It only takes a short continuous fast forward of 3 to 5 minutes, and the WIFI speed will be reduced by 10 times, which directly leads to the failure to watch movies normally.
At this time, the WIFI speed of the mobile phone is as follows:
The reason why this is said is because the previous NOTE8 (8895) did not have this situation
Turning the phone on in high-performance mode and turning off battery optimization will not solve the above problem. Is there a way to solve this problem.

Just watch movies as they are intended to, at normal speed, Qhy would you watch a movie by fast forwarding for so long?

Because some movies do not need to be viewed at normal speed, such as those without clothes, I can watch dozens of such movies in one night

Is there no solution?

Sever speed drop on WiFi VS. other PC's on same networks

OK so I know that we are not talking about a full fledged PC but there is a pretty big speed difference in the downlink speeds between my home PC and my Evo on Wi-Fi:
Home PC:

Evo on same WiFi network:
Can't figure out why the big speed difference. Anywhere from almost a quarter to a tenth of the speed of my PC. Just wondering.
On a note, it might be worth mentioning I movied around the house and the phsycial position of hte phone relative to the router did not seem to make a difference. Being 5 feet away was not any faster than being on the opposit end of the house.
I have the exact same problem. My phone goes 3mbps slower than a pc on the same network (down from 6mbps).
my laptop gets about 26mpb but the gets like 20mpb.. i dont see this as being bad at all..
Looks like you have cable. Maybe the speedboost isn't working for the Evo. You know with speedboost your internet connection isn't necessarily that fast its just something time warner does to give you temp high speeds. That's definitely not your sustained download speed.

this phone cant make calls or take calls so i just use it to browse the internet via wifi and listen to music. i get very little hours on it and was wondering maybe its time for a new battery?
whats media server and cell standby?
am i reading it incorrectly?
If you aren't using it for calls/data, put it in airplane mode so it isn't constantly searching for carrier data signal.
That'll kill your battery, fast.

What you are seeing is the relative battery usage. That just means that the media server and cell standby are using that much more battery based on their use, not an indicator of how much of the battery that service is actually using.
Putting your phone in airplane mode will kill the cell standby service, but I wouldn't worry about the percentages you see on that screen. It's relative data, not emperical.

[Q] Massive cell standby battery drain when on WiFi Calling

Has anyone noticed this on their Edge? I'm running the latest software release including the OTA. On my previous phone the GS4, I never had the same issue with WiFi calling and this type of drain in the same location.
So far, I've tried turning off VoLTE, but I'll need a few days to see if it makes a difference. Any one else have other suggestions?

There is a discussion going here about this:

Some are saying turning off wifi fixes it. I'm testing it now
Turning off WiFI fixes the issue. This is what you should do: Turn off wifi, fully charge phone, restart.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. It should be a permanent fix correct? Hopefully there's a software update soon.
Ok...So here are my current stats. I had Wi-Fi off the whole time. About twenty minute phone call, web browsing, about 1.5 hours of audio streaming with screen off.
I am okay with this and think it will just get better as the phone settles in.
Lost about 8-9% overnight while sleeping.

LG-H815 WiFi Issue

Hi,
I have this issue with the Wifi on my 1 month old LG G4 right out of the box where the Wifi connection occasionally drops while connected to the 2.4GHz band. At first, I thought It might be due to interferences from my environment as I stay in an apartment but when I tried to use a public wifi, the connection was also unstable and dropped even though my other devices are connected properly without any problems. The 5GHz also does drop sometimes when the screen is off but it is not as bad as the 2.4GHz band. I also have another problem where the phone sometimes cannot find any 2.4GHz band wifi but a few 5GHz band wifis even though my other devices can see a ton of 2.4GHz band Wifi around me. I have also tried Miracast on my Smart TV and the same problem occurs where the sometimes the sound and image stutter and flicker even though the phone is in the same room but it doesn't happen to my other devices such as my Xiaomi Redmi 1S. I have attached a picture of a couple of my devices showing the wifi setting section.
Any advice on this issue before I send my phone to the LG Service Centre for warranty over the weekend.
Many thanks in advance

Question Problem since I updated to One UI 4.0

Hi everyone.
I have a very very annoying problem onj Z Fold 3 since I installed the update with One UI 4.0
Almost all media audio is played on Galaxy Watch 4 instead on the phone: all youtube audio, all voice messages in all messengers and notifications sounds from the phone are being played on the watch.
Watch is NOT listed as an media output device, but does this all by imitating a phone call (?!?) from a number 10000000 (picture shown).
This happens most of the time when I do not see it, and the virtual call remains there until I disconnect it manually, also, drains all the battery of the watch in 5-6 hours.
Please help. I temporarily solved that by disabling all kind of phone calls on the watch, but that is not a solution for me since I need to be able to manage calls on the watch.
Thanks!

Have you done a factory reset on the watch to see if the issue persists?

If nobody appears here with a specific solution, I will have to try that. It's a ***** to go trough config again unless really necessary
