Hi,
I just brought Unlocked Samsung A50. As of now I am having issue with detecting cricket wireless sim. Cricket is owned by AT&T so I think I might be having compatibility issues that AT&T users were having. Has anyone figured out a solution for this?
Thanks
Nvm I applied for another sim card which works now.

Dear Devs/ Friends.
Having a serious issue with a lot of N900T on Stock Ml7 . After rooting through Chain fire and unlocking through region unlock app Most of the N900T we have are not recognizing "Mobilicity" Canada Sim Card. it keep saying "No Sim Present". and with WIND Mobile it recognize the sim card but only data works and it keep on saying searching in network. and even we manually searched for networks . It see all networks but it will not register.
It does work with Bell, Telus, Rogers, LTE, 2G 3G perfectly.
Initially it is from TMobile USA. And interestingly it started happening recently as we been unlocking these note 3 from couple months now and they were all fine. I do not know if it is the OTA update or something else.
Can some one please help.
Any update guys? i am really stuck here. none of the Note 3 N900T from tMobile seems to work with AWS Carriers in Canada. even though they have the same frequencies as Tmobile AWS. They were all working a few days back and now they are not. It does not seems like a OTA Upgrade or anything which disabled it somehow. is it our unlocking ( Chaifire rooting, + RegionUnlock Aways) which is causing it?

Any help would be very appreciated!
I purchased an unlocked T-Mobile version os SGS3 (T999) for my son, planning him to use it on Wind Mobile's network.
After inserting a SIM card, I can see that the phone was able to identify Wind Network but it would not make any calls.... behaving as it is out of coverage.
When I connected to my Wi-Fi the phone started downloading some T-Mobile update (~36 gb in size).
i have a similar model of SGS3 (T999v) and assumed that these models are interchangeable... Was I wrong?
Is there anything that can be done to fix the reception issue?
Thanks,

Hiya.
Bought one of these to replace my original note 4 that broke.
I don't seem to be able to connect to 4G, is this a known issue with the AT&T version outside of the US?
Is there anything I can do fix it?
Cheers in advance
Never mind, bought another one
AT&T note works on 4G in UK with EE
I got caught too, but the 4G seems to think it is working. However, it is very slow... and I will be replacing the phone!
Pretty sure it works for me, but not used my AT&T note 4 for a while. Previously used it on Vodafone UK.

I just picked up a U.S. model unlocked A50, but before I open it I wanted to find out if anyone has successfully used a data-only T-Mobile SIM in theirs. This plan and SIM I have I've been able to move between any unlocked phone or tablet I've tried over the last few years. Works great for what I use it for - a secondary device.
The reason I'm wondering if it works in the A50 is because it did not work in my old unlocked model S9+, I'm guessing because T-Mobile had the IMEI registered in their system as a smartphone and not an unlocked tablet or phone.
Since the A50 is not sold by T-Mobile, I'm hoping I won't have this issue...any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
I'll go ahead and answer my own question in case someone needs this info in the future.
Yes, my data-only SIM works perfectly in the unlocked A50. Once I put the SIM in, the phone rebooted and reconfigured itself for T-Mobile and automatically setup the correct APN. Data and texting worked great, only issue was the APN was not editable and I needed to do this to enable the hotspot.
I manually created an identical APN to the stock one, with the only addition being a ",dun" added to the end of APN type to enable the hotspot feature.
Everything is working great now, very happy with this phone. IMO, this is by far the best phone out there for the price.
