Hello
I recently bought the RN8PRO and started testing it, i have noticed an issue in night mode regarding a blue color in the corner and wants to know if it's normal or there is something wrong with my phone?
Thanks in advance
If by "Night mode" you mean reading mode, no mine doesn't have that issue...

Having light bleed issues from charging/notification led on photos aswell,
(red glow while charging the phone)
stripes only show up when using Flash outside in complete darkness
Dont mind the lightbleed, but i hope that those stripes are software related.
i think its because of slow shutter speed .. try to hold device steady ... maybe am wrong

Might be, but i kept my hands as steady as possible.
can someone else try to make a photo outside in pitch black?

its impossible to hold your hand steady for 4 seconds .. try placing it somewhere i think it will work
Can someone confirm, when changing the shutter speed to 1 Seconds and up.
On broad daylight the screen isn't blanked up all white anymore?
When I play with the settings in dark environment everything is still working when I look at the pictures, only not visible on the shooter display. Changes under 1\2 seconds are still visible on the screen.
My camara app version is 4.52.34.6

White screen here. Which makes sense as the photo will turn out white as well
And isn't that normal considering the fixed aperture ?

Yep! A 1+ second exposure in daylight will be waaaaay overexposed.
When and where did this update happen?

No idea. My phone came with 10c, so I have nothing to compare it to.
Hello
I have a problem when I launch the camera app.
If I run the application at night or if my phone is on the table , there is a purple halo that appears half a second.
Is it a person can do the test with the phone on a table and tell me if the same phenomenon appears ? Thank you :good::good:
the video of the phenomenon:

Yes, why is this a problem, I assume it's something to do with the camera adjusting to lack of light.
I made a video on youtube but as I am new to the forum , I can not post it
can finally post the video of the phenomenon:

So? Nothing worth mentioning if you ask me.

Ah ok, Thanks for your feedback :good:
When using YouTube and other google apps in dark mode ( or any dark grey image) the upper part of screen has a green tint which is clearly visible at low brightness(aboutb less than 25%).
When i increase brightness about more than 40% the screen becomes normal and this green tint goes away.
Please reply if anyone else is facing this issue.

I'm using one for 5 days.. don't have that issue.. I think you go to the service center immediately..
I noticed the same yesterday!!! I think it's software problem because as you said it's only visible at certain brightness.

If you activate the option in lab CC dimming then the problem goes out. I'm on new build 10.0.4 AB version.

Already tried to replace twice with Amazon but the inspection guy told me it is normal and the display is manufactured this way and rejected my replacement.
So I have been using it for 2 days now and have noticed the following:
1. S pen bug- When I write using my spen in the native Samsung keyboard app, I can no longer see the words that I have written. Possibly a bad optimisation of dark mode. Changed everything I could imagine but no luck.
2. Dark mode- I can no longer change dark mode from settings. It just stays dark all the time. However,
Dark mode is now under Settings->Display

Can you see if you can use spen on the default keyboard? As I wrote already , I can't see the words after writing on the blank keyboard space.
You mean this?
Although I'm using hexed, so I'm not sure if it's overwritten by that.

Yeah that's the one. After writing something I can't see the word that was written. So basically useless.
Yeah even I'm using hex but tried without hex and nothing changes. I simply can't see the words that were written!
Are you facing the same issue?

Hi,
I update via Odin to DBT rom last night and I don't have any of those problems.
I can change from normal to dark and vice versa without any problems.
And as for the S-Pen I can see what I write and the words in both normal and dark mode.
Regards

Mnnnn, just an experiment.. Try and set if changing the resolution does anything. Not sure if it'll work, but I run mine around 560(in developer options), and the keyboard is usually thethinkg that acts the most weird.
Just a stab in the dark.
