Having light bleed issues from charging/notification led on photos aswell,
(red glow while charging the phone)
stripes only show up when using Flash outside in complete darkness
Dont mind the lightbleed, but i hope that those stripes are software related.

Every time i take a picture. Its very fast. But i have to wait a second before i can take another one. A very noticeable delay.
Yet in this new video by danny winget (awesome youtuber) he shows at 8:52 into the video he can take picture after picture with zero delay :S how the hell has he done it?
Anyone else have similar issue?

Try turning off HDR, if you have not already done so.

I know but that's not the point with burst mode there is more noise is the picture.
The point is this review I posted looks like it can take picture after picture no delay, yet i always have a delay between each picture.
my bad forgot to show the video I am on about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0ZOuKBZgZU&list=UUGq7ov9-Xk9fkeQjeeXElkQ

In situations with plenty of light (and with HDR off and same stationary focal point) I can also take subsequent images at the same speed as on the shown video.
If the camera needs to refocus (objects moves around or you moved the camera) or when there is less light the speed, naturally, is much slower.
Are you using phone memory or SD card? That would make difference.

Also when writing to SD (my card isn't especially fast) there is no problem making photos in quick succession
Hi!
I'm having a great problem with my D855 (16 Gb). When I bought the phone, I had some camera problems, like a lot of colored pixels all over the picture (only rear facing camera). It disappeared suddenly, but now it has returned. I don't know how to solve it. It's a pity, because I can't take any decent picture. How can i solve it?
P.D: I'm running AndroidNow 7.2, but I'm having this problem with any kind of ROM (Stock or AOSP)
Might be noise, caused by high iso settings. That is perfectly normal. Are you shooting in low light or high iso?
It could also be that the camera sensor is suffering from hot pixels, but those don't usually appear in high amounts.
If you'd upload a sample picture it would be easier for us to judge.

It's more clear in low light situations, but it's too obvious in low light situations. I've tried even factory reset and ROM change, but it doesn't work

As you can see, it appears in "stripes", so I think it might be a problem with the camera controller (you're saying it's not depending on the rom). I'd contact LG to get the device replaced.
I tried but it's only happening with the ROM I'm using (AndroidNow)
Would you please help me? I need the camera for work T.T

Earlier you said it was happening even with stock. It's def a camera driver/hardware issue. You'll need to have it looked at
Can someone confirm, when changing the shutter speed to 1 Seconds and up.
On broad daylight the screen isn't blanked up all white anymore?
When I play with the settings in dark environment everything is still working when I look at the pictures, only not visible on the shooter display. Changes under 1\2 seconds are still visible on the screen.
My camara app version is 4.52.34.6

White screen here. Which makes sense as the photo will turn out white as well
And isn't that normal considering the fixed aperture ?

Yep! A 1+ second exposure in daylight will be waaaaay overexposed.
When and where did this update happen?

Hello everyone im new here in the forum.
İ bought a brand new htc10 a month ago (uk version)
So far so good i had no issues with my new gadget...
But im into photography also i used to have a lg v10 (have a great manuel controls)
With htc10 in pro mode (all updates have been made) you can set the shutter up to 16 seconds after the latest firmware you know...but! There is a but there. After 1 second of shutter speed i noticed dozens of white little dots in my photos...visible in the dark areas. Than i realize they are even more and more if you set the shutter speed up to 8 or 16 seconds. Dozens of white little dots!! İn my theory, its not a dead or stuck pixel..i guess the camera lens is sapphire glass or something like that and when i look at the glass so close with a torch, i see some little sandy things in the glass..( or inside of the glass)
İ dont really know what is this..if you have an idea let me know pls. Or just show me some 8 seconds of shutter speed example fron your htc10 device. ? Thank you all.
I was about to say this too. Even on video shooting got the same problem. Must be htc using a different method of capturing images. Also, this phone create a bit nice or i should say artifacts on low light.
İ didint try the video mode but in pro mode...i set the iso to 100...and it about the long shutter speeds. 1 to 16...you will that there are lots of little white dots (not iso) in the photo..
Can you try a sample image?
İt is not looking like a artifacts...also in auto mode there is no problem i dont see any white dots. They are visible in the long shutter speeds. And you should set the iso setting to 100. İf you zoom in you will see them.
Or i have the defect camera lens or sensor :/ any help would be appreciated.

Don't listen to the guy above your last post. Post your firmware version and someone will tell you the country version. Still will not help the white spots, but will give some insight.

Yeah you are on the lastest International firmware. I would post in the HTC Camera Thread and try there.
Link is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/htc-10-camera-thread-t3358858
Hi, i resume this post because i have the same issue. Htc 10, pro mode, low iso (like 100), long shutter speed : in the photos there are a lot of little white dots. But if you shot with another app like proshot or camera fv5 there aren't any white dots in the photos... But I don't like the other app..and the max shutter speed is only 5 seconds (in the original app are 16 seconds)... Please tell me if you have a solution or there are other discussions in which people are talking about it. Thanks
Try clean the lens with a soft cloth HTC 10 camera is very fragile in dust or finger prints. If problem persists its a harware issue .I had this problems but when i clean the lens is ok....
those are hot pixels i guess. when you use sensor for a long time it could be happened to emerge dots in dark areas.
hi, thanks for the reply, i realized that even with other application the problem persists and i will contact the htc support. i will let you known if there are any news. Thanks
Hello
I have a problem when I launch the camera app.
If I run the application at night or if my phone is on the table , there is a purple halo that appears half a second.
Is it a person can do the test with the phone on a table and tell me if the same phenomenon appears ? Thank you :good::good:
the video of the phenomenon:

Yes, why is this a problem, I assume it's something to do with the camera adjusting to lack of light.
I made a video on youtube but as I am new to the forum , I can not post it
can finally post the video of the phenomenon:

So? Nothing worth mentioning if you ask me.
