New significant update rolling out now for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Active 1. Just wanted to let you all know if you haven't received the update yet. Currently updating mine as I type this! See the attachment for information on the update.
I really didn't notice any difference.
Anyone know if the GWA2 got an update too?
Here's a web link for the Galaxy Watch update:

Why would gw2 get update, when it already has everything shown on picture?

There are bugs in the software, such as encryption that doesn't work.

Yes. I checked for update via the Galaxy Wearable app and it was there. FYI, after installing the update, my Timer would not show the countdown time so I went to the Galaxy Store and there was an update to it. Updated Timer and all is good now.

Thanks. i will download it.
Yup, very nice on the Active! So pleased that they backported the rotating bezel. Works like a charm and makes navigation so much easier.
Is there any way to force the update? In Spain it hasn't arrived yet:crying:
I still haven't updated my galaxy watch to one ui as i heard it destroyed the battery life when using AOD.
Does anyone know if this has now been fixed?
Thanks

Thanks goes to cgrunner for posting the link!
NOTE: You must have a completely stock 4.0.2 yakju build for the OTA download to flash. That means, bootloader, radio, kernel, systemUI.apk, etc. all must be stock!
You also need either temp. root or a custom recovery to flash the file.
Here's a great tutorial on how to manually flash an OTA by efrant: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419170

So waiting time (or back to my work
They usually start rolling it out on Thursday so by the weekend most people should have it. I'm excited. I'm still stock and unrooted on 4.0.2
My check Now button is going to die, has been pushed too many times in few minutes Still waiting
An OTA "today" means three or for months when you live in Canada.
Still I'm optimistic.

Oh - what irony - it's officially released for the GSM version but clearly no one has it here as yet whereas while the unofficial 4.0.4 leak for Verizon LTE version is already available to flash on XDA!
You ****ed up Google - as always (lately).

It doesn't benefit or add anything to our phones. The update is primarily for the Nexus 7.
Just get the factory image from google site and follow efrant guide.

It has a number of bug fixes. The biggest fix I noticed on my nexus 7 is that sports calendars show up in Google calendar. That alone is making me want it on my phone ASAP.
Questions goes to the Q&A section
Beamed from my Grouper.
There are some people claiming to have got the ota but its nothing but a lie, the ota is not yet rolling out its just the factory image Google have released, happens every time an ota is close people just bullsh1t for the attention, they either flashed the 4.1.2 image or are using 4.1.2 custom rom plain an simple.

There were no changes to the calendar that would of caused that. There were very little changes in the changelog that affects GN users. The only user facing change is moving the Location settings out of AOSP (thus the new layout in settings).
I have it on my Toro GNex.....

Great news! Thank you (OP) for this. Only stock rooted, so torn to either go back to stock to take full update or just wait until one of these great devs get a flashable out.........that is the question. lol
This is awesome.
I was waiting for this update before I rooted.
Patiently waiting for a flashable update!!!

Hey XDA world,
So I just got my Note (2014) and installed the updates that were available, then I noticed that the unlock effect from my lockscreen had gone away. I went into setting and it's completely removed from my settings! What the? Has anybody had this issue? I don't know much about CSC files but could this be a CSC issue? Any help appreciated, thanks.
I believe it was removed officially, if you are speaking of the ink effect.

Yes, Samsung remove it within in of the newest updates. But this also improve the unlocking which was before a little bit laggy.
A solution can be: root your note and the try to flash the old lockscreen. But this requires expierence... maybe in the coming customers ROMS you will get an option.
If I remember correctly, there is an app that you can install in play store to get the effect back. I cant remember the name. It is mentioned on 1 of the thread.
