[COMBINATION FILE] [Galaxy A5-2017/A250f] - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

I tried to play a COMBINATION FILE on it, it was the version A520FXXUBASF1 because I was told that it is the binary 12, but it does not work it keeps telling me SW REV Check fail (bootloader) Device 12 Binary 11.
The reason for this is. that from my uncle the son had the cell phone and his google account linked. and the cell phone was set to factory reset and these no longer know the data. So with I want to put the phone once again completely and through numerous videos I was shown that I first have to play a combination file on it before I install a firmware again. Unfortunately, this is not possible as described above
and maybe someone has the right combination file for me, the current firmware, I have the works that I have already tested this is called A520FXXUCCSK1.
I already apologize for my bad english

You dont need such a combination file.
Just install the firmware through odin and you are good to go.

I did that anyway, the phone requires the old Google account previously set. and as described above, the data is unknown

So, if I understand this correctly, you are trying to get your google account login data?

no i want to remove this google login so I do not have to register first because we do not know the data anymore

and therefore would like to bypass the google login, because as I said the data is no longer known or have been forgotten. and I can not log into the phone

That is normal. Android phones require you to have a google account. The phone uses google for the play store, contact backup, gmail, and more. Most roms let you skip this at first and only ask again if you use an app or feature that requires google. If the rom your on will not let you skip it, you will have to create or sign in with an existing google account.
cmlusco look at this

Ok after dooing some translation with google, i see the issue. Who ever gave you the phone had a pattern lock setup. You tried to many wrong attempts at solving the pattern and the phone has locked. You need to enter a google account to unlock it now. However im not sure if any google account will unlock it, or if you must enter the google account info previously registered by who ever setup the pattern lock. You can go to google.com and register for an account. If your google accoumt info dosent unlock it, you will need to get the info from the person who gave you the phone.
he never did a factory reset. if he had, then that screen wouldnt be popping up. i've had lots of clients come to me with that same problem and a factory reset always fixes it.
what im concerned about is if someone gave him the phone then why is he guessing the pattern lock or password lock?

FTV trying to update.. But not done so yet

I purchased 3 FTVs for my home net purely to run xbmc and dont have a lot of interest in amazon prime or the stock FTV setup.
2 of the 3 boxes were fine, blocked updates on my net, rooted, disabled updates, XBMC on, everything worked great. Still need to do some tweaking but all good.
1 of the 3 boxes already knew of the update, and is trying to get it, but is of course blocked. As I have never booted it, I have no way to know what FW its on now.

I have tried waiting of course.. Tried pulling the network cable after it finds the DHCP and before 'checking for updates' (actually doesnt say that it seems to already 'know').
Is there a way of resetting the knowledge of the update ??
What is my best course of action with the greatest probability of securing root ??
Is there a way of stopping an update if I let my router connect to the update links ?? As I have never done that I dont know how the process goes ??
Or is there a way of on the first boot, when it updates, enabling ADP and rooting and disabling before the next boot (I read this works but perhaps not in this situation, eg from a normal boot not a first boot).
Lastly, I am not in the US, I dont know if it will even allow me to get the updates outside of there and I cant VPN via my router.. Which would lead to a useless if not bricked FTV stuck in a loop of an update it cant get.
Sorry for the Qs.. I did search but theres a lot of variables and one mistake could lose root on this box, where possibly the right combination or sequence can preserve it.
http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-unbr...ry-mode-and-factory-reset-the-amazon-fire-tv/
Just did this.. With a reset of user data and cache.. really thought it would it would work..
Booted.. had to discover the remote.. then.. Exactly the same.. Update detected (blocked with openDNS) and in the same loop ??
Can I block update system by ADP ?? Given the recovery option of update by ADP, is that any use here ??

Nothing below "System Update", that is the last package on the list. Nothing else to scroll to.
This is a Verizon Note 7. Anything else I need to disable?
Type in the name of the file where it says update (search bar).

Nothing.
Apparently 3/4 of those packages just don't exist on my Verizon phone...
I hope that means I'm safe.
Strange. Assume you've scrolled through to find it (alphabetical).

Yep, I've done that.
I'd be tempted to check the two System updates (which I don't have) in your post #5

Locked out of family pics etc. on Google Nexus 7 2013 edition

The screen on my Nexus 7 was damaged a few months ago, and it was left unused until I finally got it repaired and returned to me yesterday.
Unfortunately I have so many different devices, I have forgotten the PIN code. I was aware I was unsure of the code while it was in for repair, but I was relying on the fact that I thought I could use the Android forgotten password option to reset via Gmail.
Unfortunately it seems this option does not exist, despite inputting many incorrect PINs and getting the 30 seconds delay. I have read this must be because the version must be Lollipop or above.
I also tried Android Device Manager, which can communicate with the device as it is online, and I set a lock code 1234, which the Nexus 7 mentions when I turn on the screen, but it does not accept it. Apparently if the device already has a PIN lock set up, that overrides the Android Device Manager lock PIN.
I know I can factory reset, but I would hate to lose the pictures - and yes this is another reason why I should have configured something where my files are backed up to drive etc. automatically. Is there anything I can do?

If the bootloader is unlocked then follow these steps to backup your data.

It is not unlocked, but perhaps I am able to unlock it without the PIN?
I read online about the Nexus Root Toolkit, and that I could perhaps ADB pull with that? Here is a screenshot of the options from the website:

Okay, so the PIN just came to me, huge relief. I am going to set up Google Photos to automatically backup my photos in case this ever happens again, or the tablet is lost, and double check that I have Prey installed.
Is there anything I else I should do that may perhaps allow me reset the PIN in the future?

Samsung Account won't work

Hello XDA Community,
I bought an N975F/DS two weeks ago and I didn't notice the sign 'ASIAN SIM ONLY'. Currently I live in Europe and when I tried to put my European SIM, it worked. But I have a problem, I can't access the Samsung Account. Made some research found so many methods but not any of them seems to work. When I try to login into Samsung Account with my SIM card inserted it gives a message 'Processing Failed'
Then after researching I tried a method:
Removing the SIM card, hard resetting, kaboooom I logged in successfuly. But in the moment I put my SIM there I can't do anything, everytime I try to access Bixby or Samsung Account it says that I need to check my internet connection. I lt looks like Im logged in but I cant access even my profile.
Had a conversation with Samsung Malaysia (because after checking my IMEI I noticed that this device is registered in Malaysia) but they couldn't help.
Tried:
Factory Reset
Opening a new Samsung Account
Wipe cache
Clearing cache and storage at Samsung Account and Samsung Experience
Safe mode
Updating my account details from desktop (account.samsung.com)
Still no success.
What should I do ? Is there any way to fix this ?
Thanks for your time

I'm not sure but maybe changing the CSC with SamKey (if not rooted) or if rooted manually...
