I have a neo n7505, when I first bought it I installed some custom rooms and when I had a problem with the efs folder (network credentials) I stopped installing rooms
but the phone kept going into a boot loop nearly every week and sometime every 2 days
even if the phone shut down a boot loop happens
then I have to factory reset and sometimes wipe all data and system through twrp , and it works, at least for a period of time, in the period it works normally
anyone have an idea about why this is happening? please

Hi all
my nexus i think just went nuts
it keep rebooting on it's own for no reason and its been like this for months now
it all started when i use the browser and my phone restarted , it happened once , twice then it became more and more frequent
i decided to full wipe my phone and flash a factory rom to make sure it won't happen again
a month later the issue came back and it became worse and now it gets stuck in a bootloop , lasts about 5 minutes or more , forcing me to remove the battery and it will still bootloop and hopefully it stops
and so comes today i decided to full wip again with a factory rom and well ...my phone went retard ...it bootloops bootloops non stop , starts up , shut down , and it won't stop!! i cant go into recovery for whatever reason
so is this a hardware problem? i really don't have any idea what to do now
I had to factory reset my tab a few days ago since it was in a endless reboot loop (the samsung tab 3 logo would flash on for a few seconds then off then on) until it looped its self to death. I did a factory reboot and now I at least got past the reboot loop from hell but now all it does is keep popping up com.android.keygaurd // setting has stopped with a white or black background. I wiped the chache and rebooted again. Same thing. I let it die then charged to 100%. Same thing. This thing is about to take trip to a gun range or find a home under the tire of my car if I cant get it fixed.
Also this is pure stock. No custom ROM, nothing. Its a samsung from sprint that I bought from someone well over a year ago and have not had issues until about a week ago.
Try deleting the cache partition in recovery. If that doesn't work use odin to reflash your stock os with pit file that wipes and re partitions to stock and let me know
I'm having problems getting my phone past the bootup screen. It first loads the logo then goes to the animated logo then the rethink possible animation and then finally gets stuck on the glowing samsung logo. It then shuts off and redoes the loop a couple of times until it stops with the battery charge up screen and freezes there until I remove the battery.
History: Purchased an att phone for the mb to replace my original phones because it had the insane chip. Had to root it to be able to unlock the phone with my carrier(telus). Since I was in it I flash the DN4 custom rom and everything needed into the phone. The phone functioned fine for about a month and then frequent freezes and restarts started happening. Near the end, the phone was stuck in a boot loop, loading into the DN4 animation boot screen then shutting itself off then on again to endlessly repeat the loop.
Present: At first I was able to get into TWRP and tried some things in there but nothing happened. When there I notice it stated "internal memory 0"-not sure if this means anything.
I was able to flash the saved recovery file from TWRP. Once I did that I could no longer go in TWRP and now have to use the samsung install/recovery.
I have since flashed the stock rom several times with odin and also wiped data/factory reset many times still does the same in bootup. Tried flashing TWRP into phone using odin 3.07 but failed.
What should be my next move? Pretty new at this so I may be missing something very simple or perhaps a dead phone???
Finally got the phone to boot up and run fine. It seems everything was good except the battery was acting up.
Next step is to get the battery to charge when phone is off.
I'll post this question in new thread.
Hi,
today i had a strange problem with my nexus 5x, I was on WhatsApp and studently my phone freeze and rebooted. After that it was stuck in a bootloop, I first tried to flash the recovery images but after the flash it was still bootlooping.
I tried to use a tool that WugFresh made, I used the “Soft-Bricked/Bootloop” mode to restore it. After 20 minutes of bootlooping it finally booted properly.
BUT after configuring the phone it freezes again and same as before, it bootlooped. This time I let the phone do his business and after a while it rebooted (20 minutes again)
After each reboot, the phone works fine for 20-30 minutes and freeze and reboot again. I tried to film, take pictures, watch videos on YouTube and it worked fine each times (it freezes after I wanted to skip an ad on YouTube).
I tried:
Restore multiple versions of android (the first release and the last one, I didn’t use a older version of Nougat)
Used the WugFresh to flash the images
Erases all the partitions with flashtool commands
I want to discharge completely the phone and charge it back again (I thought that the battery was the problem but because it freezes randomly it might be something else)
Don’t know if someone had the same problem.
Here are the logcat after the phone rebooted : http: // pasted . co / 9296e1ba
I'll try anyting you'll recommand
Thank's in advance
It is easier to write than read, right?
Dunno why everyone thinks that his problem is so special
Im having the same problem as yours. Started 5 days ago, after putting the phone to charge and gone shower. After it my phone was rebooted in the boot-password screen, already gone back to 7.1.1 (was 7.1.2 beta2), flashed O and no solution. Still bootlooping and booting correctly after 10minutes of bootloop. It works for 20-30 minutes or less and freezes again. Sometimes works for hours.
My thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/nexus-5x-getting-stuck-google-logo-t3580223
My phone is not at warranty time and Google cannot help me.
i followed this guide
teamandroid.com/2016/03/08/update-tmobile-galaxy-note-2-t889-android-601-resurrection-remix-marshmallow-custom-rom/2/
and it worked perfectly until yesterday
the other day i looked at my phone and it formatted and restarted on its own. i didnt really lose much.
so i accepted it and reset up all my apps and such, and then when my phone died and i charged it
it got stuck in boot loop forever
i tried wiping both cache and reboot recovery it skips boot loop long enough to load up but as soon as i see my homescreen for a second it boot loops again.
so then i tried completely formatting the phone over which worked until this morning when i woke up my phone was dead. swapped batteries and turned it on. booom boot loop again.
is there any advice on what i should do?
im able to format it and get it working again if something needs installed etc
but i want to stop this from happening again
Q: is it possible that a certain app i downloaded is forcing the boot loop? i dont see why it would because ive had all the same apps for months and it just happened out of no where.
i appreciate any help, id just like to know why in the world its happening, and what the best course of action would be
im thinking maybe restore it back to factory firmware and unrooting and starting the process all over again
i seen something for 7.1 would that be better?
