Hello, my phone stopped working digitally after a twrp install.
I installed it normally by adb on the computer and soon after the phone restarted, when it appeared the digital lock screen did not want to work, nor the green glow appears anymore. someone what can it be?
did you try to power on with volume buttons

While I was installing ASKP kernel I had lost power while the phone was on the Google splash screen. Now my volume buttons haven't been functional for some time now but I've been getting by. But right now my pc doesn't have adb drivers installed and I can't get them installed without booting into my phone, atm windows can't see the phone even if it is connected by usb.
Does anybody know a way I can get out of this mess?:crying:
Flashed the beta Pixel Experience Rom 10 to my phone.
worked fine, now upon rebooting, the screen is slow, sim not detected, apps wont open. seems like the ui wont open properly.
both volume buttons broken hardware wise. computer wont detect the phone, neither through file explorer or adb.
getting to the power menu by holding the power button down works, but trying to hold down restart to boot into safe mode just turns the screen black and nothing responds until i hard restart.
charging light still on though.
what can i do to get to recovery or fix this situation?
thanks
EDL test point method and flash fastboot room. Would be my starting point.

Ended up just opening it up and shorting the volume terminals to simulate recovery reboot. Have successfully restored my backup and will probably wait until the replacement volume strip comes in or a more stable version of PE 10 is released
I've got a dead oneplus 5t from my son. It was not charging anymore.. So I've replaced charging cable and battery.. Seemed to work it was charging... However it doesn't boot... No logo screen screen stays black/blank.
Tried several suggestions on this forum to get into recovery mode, fastboot mode... But still nothing. Only vibrating works after a few seconds.
So tried to unbrick with OP5T_Unbrick_tool_dumpling_43_J.40_181105(OOS.5.1.7) and the qualcomdrivers..
I was able to install the drivers and I see they are installed in devicemanagement.. and an empty folder create for oneplus.
I charged the phone all night and was able to download the upgrade. It then says download complete and I tried to restart the phone..
Still just vibrating but nothing happens.. Seems like everything has vanished from the phone, no recovery, no bootloader, no files.
So how to proceed to get all the stuff on the phone? And maybe the displayscreen is dead, but how can I tell?
Also tried the SMT upgrade. Strange thing is the device and com port are seen in devicemanagement and active when I connect without volume up, but cannot start because it says When I try to use smt mode the program says: "This COM port is disable by user". With volume button up pressed and then connect, ledlight turns green but the qualcomdevice is grayed out in devicemanagement and it says waiting for device..
Any help is welcome. I am a noob in how to proceed on the phone however I have an IT background.
Spent already so many time figuring out .. maybe it's effortless and its for the trashbin.
Thanks in advance
SOLVED
I opened the phone again loosened all those tiny connections to battery, screen, charger, mainboard and re-attached them.. Somehow a connection seemed to be fitting allright as yI looked at it, but apparently wasn't :good:
Hello everyone,
I really hope somebody can help me with this.
I have xperia z5 premium, power button stopped working a month ago or something, but the phone was working perfectly fine. Of course, I made a mistake and did not charge it in time and it turned off. Now I can't get it to turn back on because the button is not working.
I explored all my options and I realized I can do fastboot reboot through fastboot and adb. However, I can't seem to get my phone to go into fastboot mode.
I hold volume up button (which I know for a fact is working), I plugin usb, and instead of getting that blue led light everybody keeps talking about, I just get a red led and then a green one after the sony logo that signals the phone is charging.
I installed ADB and xperia z5 premium drivers and I still can't get it to work. When I type fastboot reboot it says <waiting for device> when I try adb reboot or adb reboot bootloader it says "error: device not found".
I've also installed xperia companion app and when I plugin my phone it shows a screen where it says: "Your device is locked
1. Unlock require
Unlock the device using password or fingerpint if needed
2. Allow data access
On your device, select the option to allow data access"
I've tried doing the same thing with adb on two different pcs, always get the same result. Phone just gets to charging screen and keeps charging instead of going into any mode.
I also tried holding volume down button and plugging in usb which is supposed to be recovery mode or something, but that doesnt work either, I also get charging screen. And I'm 100% sure both my volume up and volume down buttons are working.
What am I doing wrong?
P.S - Debugging mode is not on, im 100% sure since i never turned it on.
Somebody please help!
Thanks!
So I used twrp to flash the pixel rom on my A505F and it all worked but then I went into the magisk app and it said it needs to update so I pressed update and then it restarted and never went past the warning screen(the one where it says your bootloader is unlocked and press power key to continue).I can only hold both volume keys + power button to restart it and it shows the galaxy a50 logo quickly and goes to the warning screen again. When I put it to charge the charging lightning logo appears and sometimes flashes but it doesn‘t show a precentage. I also can’t acess twrp or download mode or connect my phone to adb but I might be doing something wrong so idk. Please help. I can’t afford to buy a new phone.
