I have tried using SystemUITuner to move the clock to the right side. It works on my Galaxy Tab A8, but will not work on my Pixel 3AXL. . Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have no idea, honestly.
I'm assuming there is no possible way to do this at the moment?
I don't know what ROM you're on or rooted or not, but substratum has a theme "k-manager" that claims it can shift clock position...or // substweaks // theme can do it too. You need to install substratum first, then the app, and then enable it.
Other than that, if you're on pie, there is always gravity box - but you need root, riru & EdXposed for it to work.
(And, of course, custom ROMs have that feature - but I'm guessing that's not your thing)
Or,,,you can use my Substratum theme.

Not sure its even possible to brick a Nexus/Pixel device. Ive flashed thousands of builds over the years and have never succeeded in bricking one.

Any advance on this? Is there a way to move the clock back to the right on the 3a without root ?
I'm on Q and new to pixel (plenty android experience coming from S3, 5,and 7) but the clock on the left is driving me nuts!
Thanks ?

Ahhh bugger never mind. I use gpay so can't really root without losing that.

Gpay works with Magisk. You'll likely have to use the gpay sqlite fix module though.
Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using XDA Labs
Thanks again, I'll have a look into that. I was doing that with my moto x but got sick of playing cat and mouse with Google and just stopped using gpay all together.
It's be cool if that passed on he risk on to the user with a tick box saying "I understand the risks of using gpay on rooted devices" and just let us choose?

Hey! Day 2 with my new tablet here I spent some time today getting myself root access and set up Xposed... OK, I really set up Xposed. It's been a while since I've looked through the repo so there were a ton of new modules. Very clearly some thing(s) aren't getting along. I had no problems whatsoever after attaining root and installing Wanam's Xposed. I can't even check atm how many modules I have because I'm getting an insta-reboot after launching most apps but it's more than 10. There are a few that I'm pretty sure are working fine because I was able to see them in action.
The ones I'm pretty sure these are working ok:
Xposed Additions
Xui Mod
Gravity Box (LP) (make changes slowly or it could cause problems)
Greenify
Hmm, that's all I can think of atm... a lot of the ones I'm unsure of are probably fine, but their effects are harder to observe so I'll list those last.
Don't seem to be working:
XStana
Wanam LP (? not sure about that)
Net Speed Indicator
iFont (? this might work... can't test it though)
Unsure if problematic:
Amplify
Unbeloved Hosts (? not sure... hope so though)
Play Permissions Exposed
Unicon (disappointingly definitely doesn't work, really like this one)
Those are all I can think of without being able to see what else, but I have a few more. Does anyone use/have any info on the modules I've listed? Anything else you're using that's worthwhile?
One last question: Does anyone happen to remember the key combo to boot with Xposed disabled? I just can't think of it right now....
Thanks! Hope to get some good Xposed/module discussion going in here :good:

Seems to be the case. I really like having a nav bar. Were you able to get any status bar changes to take? Center clock or net speed indicator for instance?
Also have you tried xui mod? I really like that one, some awesome visual effects.

I have tried xui on my note 4 and had it working as well as the s2 on 5.0, but haven't tried it on 5.1. I love that mod. I boot looped but I think it was too many mods at one time.
I have gotten center clock to work from either wanam or gravity box. Cant remember. But one of them worked for that. Also stock battery to dotted circle with Gravity. Those devs are great. They will make it happen eventually.

That's a good question... the answer to which I have no idea I forgot that it was also an app so thanks for the reminder. I can't really see what the advantage to the Xposed mod would be; the S2 doesn't seem to like having too many modules running. The app works great though :good:

I'm also using the latest Wanam [LP] module from the repo. Not all, but many of the modifications work fine :good:
I am using DoubleTaptoSleep, GravityBox(not all function working well), Wanam Xposed LP, Notification count.
I use with 5.1.1 and xposed:
- Amplify
- Greenify
- Wanam Xposed
- Youtube AdAway
- Youtube Background Playback
Everything works fine but Wanam... Not every option works.
A note about Gravity Box that'll hopefully be helpful to others - the newest version (5.34) messed up some things with my setup. Removal of the nav bar was the most noticeable example but there were a couple of other things. Version 5.33 worked fine so I'm going to stick with that one for now on my S2.

One Question: The XPosed-Framework is for Android 5.1.1 and 6.0. Galaxy Tab S2 is still on 5.0.2.
There is only one custom Rom for Tab S2 from 21.09.2015. Do you know if some other custom roms are coming? Or dont the delevelopers like the tab s2?

I'd surely whip one up for my 817T if I could The tablet is is still somewhat new... another consideration is the Exynos processor which tends to lead to less development vs. Qualcomm devices. McFlypants said that people should build xposed by themself rather than doing a SPAM of what, when, and how of xposed progress nowdays
I simply tell him to ignore it since it's their only skill, which mean people who do a SPAM on xposed progress will be more likely far from building xposed by self.

yes, you are right. I was also thinking about the huge "mod-scene" .. as shown in XDAlabs-APP... Will all these people:

- abandon their beloved mods and move on to PIE - the land of no Xposed-Mods ?
I must admit that I am still on OREO with my OnePlus6 BECAUSE I would have to bury some of my mods.........yes, you can laugh at me...but I am that strange

Xposed Pie
The reason many people want to know when Xposed for Pie is available is because lots of other decisions are contingent on this. Pie is out, the Pixel 3 XL and 6T are out. Should I buy these, root, update, etc.? I am still using Oreo on my Pixel 2XL. I would rather wait until Xposed for Pie is ready, and then execute all those actions. UNLESS... Rovo dies and we are all doomed... I wish this wasn't so dependent on one person. This is kind of ridiculous. But once you get addicted to the options...

Even if this is for XPosed, i would recommend you Magisk
Magisk is already available and works perfectly. Root is working, everything's fine.
I'm using xposed edge pro, this is enough reason not to update to pie. Anyone using this mod knows what I mean, nothing in pie or any normal apk comes close to what this mod alone offers.
Infact edge pro has sort of ruined my excitement for your average app because I'm finding that it can do just about everything especially when you dig deep into it.

I agree. I don't get why it's so frowned upon to discuss the development, even though non of us have anything since Rovo has gone radiosilent. If nothing else, it shows that there's a demand, no? I personally was a little while was staying back on Oreo with my OP6 because of my Xposed mods, but seeing as the development seems so dead, it seems easier to just get un-used to the options that Xposed brings.

Can anyone confirm that Substratum themes work on this phone?
Substratum wont work on this phone until we have root. Android Pie only allows Substratum to work on rooted phones due to Google's deletion of the overlay management service.
Cool, thank you. It's working on other rooted devices running Pie right? So it's a pretty good shot it'll just work once we have root?

They probably wont ever say but they dont like us tinkering around with their apps. There was a petition to keep OMS in Pie but they just ignored it and decided, as they usually do, to do what they want. Its the same thing with the Old style navbar,,,the code was there like OMS, just leave it in there for users to use it if they want. I have been with Android since it started and the "freedoms" we once enjoyed are being slowly eroded and choices taken away. Pretty soon we will be Apple and everything will be proprietary.
Annnnd yet another feature taken away from us! I mean really,,,I use this feature just about everyday and now its gone probably like this Pixel 3 will be when I send it back to Google!

I think they just blocked 3rd party overlays, not dropped OMS completely. IF there was no OMS, then Substratum wouldn't work properly, right? A ROM would need the necessary commits from Subs team (frameworks, etc), like we had to do with Nougat. Yet, you can run it on stock AOSPie, as long as you're rooted.
I may have it wrong, lol, I know I'm just ready to get my P3XL

Thanks for saying something. That white ui was painful.
Swift Black on the 3 XL is a God send
Now in all the System and Google apps, you can't even tell there's a notch. Everything has a beautiful silky black look, and you just see the time in upper left and network info in upper right, and no idea there's even a notch in the middle as everything is black which totally hides the notch completely, but it's nice to see that info in the upper corners, makes the screen look like it goes all the way to the edge.

Unless the procedure is different on the P3XL as compared to my P2XL on Pie, the procedure is as follows.
Install the latest substratum from the play store, and grant it root and storage permissions.
Download a quality theme, and there are several.
Open substratum and tick the theme you want to apply.
Select "build and update" to create the overlays you want. Once done, reboot the phone, then go to substratum again, open the manager, then check your overlays, and select enable.
That should do it :good:
I think someone already answered but most forget to go back into Substratum and click enable on all the overlays that you built previously then rebooted. Its not like Oreo where all you had to do was just build and enable. Now, you have to build and enable then reboot and go back into manager and enable the built overlays again.

Can confirm themes work just have to reboot after applying them and re enable them after reboot.
If I may ask how did you change the navbar ? And put those icons ?
I made a Google doc and posted the link below for my themes to help people that may run into problems,,,if you scroll down the last page there is a guide to enable the old style navbar. The icons are part of my Substratum theme Amazed Navbars.

It's working, but it's not auto unlock the screen. You have to swipe up after your face is recognized.
U have to root ur phone with Magisk and then simply flash the Module. It's stated to be for 8.1 but it's working on 9.0 as well.

Rooting with Magisk hides root from banking apps and Google pay. We all use it these days.

Not all. Chase doesn't work with root any longer, even after following several steps to hide, at least for me. I've read that it's hit or miss.

Sorry for the delay but yes, it's working on Pixel 3 running Android 9 pie.

How do you do that? Sorry about the noob question, but I haven't really modified my phone in YEARS! Unfortunately with PIXEL 3, that's changed... I already miss previous pixels and nexus!!

You have to follow the guide to root your phone in the "GOOGLE PIXEL 3 XL GUIDES, NEWS, & DISCUSSION" section, it's really well explained. Then you just need to flash magisk then install the module called "Google Face Unlock".

Not true. I have Chase and I just logged in 2 seconds ago and checked my account. I'm rooted in latest Magisk.

You must have done something incorrectly. I have a pixel 3 rooted and I use Chase, PNC, old national, Citi, and Huntington and I've never had a problem.
I installed the Magisk module and now the Face Unlock app is installed. However there is no UI, there's not even the Smart Lock section in settings, probably because I don't have GApps installed (which is why I needed the Magisk module in the first place).
Is there a different standalone APK/zip in order to enable Smart Lock or to otherwise setup Trusted Face?

Hey did you find that? I'm looking for it today!
Hey all moving up from my OP 7 pro to the OP 9 pro. What are all the magisk modules everyone is using on the OP 9 pro.?
1.Anything to force full screen mode on all apps? The settings for full screen apps dont include all the apps im using as some of the developers of the apps havent made it possible I'm sure.
2. I know Android 11 made changes to the navigation hide feature, is there anything that can be used to hide the navigation bar, and no i don't like navigation gestures option
Right now i am using
1. Substratum
2. Systemless Hosts
3. Full Dolby
One app im using that i have used since my 6T that isn't a magisk module but i cant live without it is a Plus Beat and it still works perfect on my 9pro
Thanks for the suggestions, cant wait to hear what everyone is using!!

Check out this thread
Working Dolby Atmos
Hello Has anyone managed to install full Dolby Atmos on Oneplus 9 Pro? I tried to install apk from this thread and magisk module from this link but none of them seems to work. Can't even install this module due to "read-only manifest.xml" error.

Yes I really like the font. It was one that came on the cyberpunk 8t.. And the audio one as well. I'll see if I can get the zips uploaded here.
Currently using:
CloudFlareDNS
Debloater
Systemless hosts
Universal GMS Doze
Planning to install Viper but haven't yet. I also tried ACC but couldn't get it working so I just disabled it.
I wish I could find a way to add a battery bar above the status bar. I used to use RICE tweaks for that on my OP7P. I know there's a way with Xposed too, but I really don't want to mess with that.
Here are 2 of the modules

Why cloudflare module? You can just type one.one.one.one under private DNS settings, under network settings.

Currently having these modules installed :
OnePlus Sans (for system-wide font application)
Swift Installer module (Installed by Swift Installer)
Systemless hosts (for AdAway)
Youtube Vanced (Old module, had to install so it could overwrite the newer YT app on the device, allowing updates from Vanced App)

What about Energy Bar? I'm currently using this on my OP9 Pro. As I type this I also noticed the same developer has a version which puts a battery ring around the punch-hole camera if you prefer that sort of thing (I might try it myself).

Another way to do that is to uninstall the system YT app with a debloater tool (I use debloater magisk module for that) and then use Vanced app to install. Just throwing it out there, since the Vanced magisk module isn't supported anymore and may not work on future versions.

Thanks! That will certainly work for now. I'd personally prefer a root solution over using accessibility service, but I'll take what I can get.

Tried that. Seems like there's a vestige YT sitting in root. I can see a folder and apk but can't delete it. I'm rooted btw.

Weird, I've been doing it this way after each update with this phone without any issues. Glad you have a working method at least.
