[Q] Root acess

Hello
I have HenseMOD7 with link2sd
but after restarting my phone I m getting link2sd root access denied or superuser acess denied
i tried superuser app but it doesn't show the application.
Delete link2sd. Reboot. Install again..
Also double check if the file was there or not. If still the problem occurs, set permission level in superuser from prompt to allow.

[Q] Wont uninstall system app! (modded youtube)

I am trying to uninstall my system Youtube app which I have installed a modded version of and my phone will not let me. The reason I am doing this is because I want to install the new 5.0 update but the update always fails. Yes I have root permissions, Yes I have tried using root explorer in ES File Explorer, Yes I have granted SuperUser Permissions to all the apps I have tried to do it with, Yes I have tried removing the app using console emulator, Yes I have cleared the data for the Youtube app and Disabled it, Yes I have tried remounting the system partition to allow RW access but it always goes back to read only!! everything I have tried keeps giving me the error READ ONLY FILE SYSTEM! I have used Root apps before and they all worked, why when I try to do something so simple it doesnt work? I have searched around on google and havent seen anyone with the problem I'm having. If it is a problem with the modded apk then there HAS to be a way to remove, in fact as I write this I am conctacting the developer via E-Mail. Please help!
BTW this modded YouTube apk was created by theos0o and I downloaded it from this forum!

Move app to system android 10

I can't figure out how to move an app I installed from the playstore to the system/app. I rooted and installed magisk. And the app I am using requires it is moved to the system partition. I tried mounting rw in root explorer. It says it was granted permission but nothing changes.
What do I need to do to move this app to the system?
Thanks in advance!
As of Android 10 the system partition is read-only, due to Google changing the file system to EXT4 dedup. So, you'll have to do without the app unless you can find or create a custom ROM that doesn't set the system partition to EXT4 dedup.
@phhusson
I have an issue with rw on Android 10 & 11 that you might know something about. It's my understanding that I can use your lptools to make this possible. The problem with that is, I can't find a copy of it that will work. I tried pulling the binary from your GSI, but it fails and throws an error because it's dependant on fs_mgr, which doesn't exist anywhere. Alternatively, I found this statement from you about using fastboot.
Code:
fastboot resize-logical-partition system $((2*1024*1024*1024))
I tried that command, and it just says "fastboot: invalid option --2". Not sure why it doesn't work. I think I should mention however, that the following does work.
Code:
mk2fs -E unshare_blocks /dev/block/dm-3
It's just the steps before, that I can't complete. If you have any insight or suggestions, I'd love to hear it.

[joyeuse] Can't flash custom ROM "failed to mount /system root"

While installing anything from TWRP I'm always getting
"Failed to mount /system root /vendor /product (no such file or directory)" message
Already tried too fix it by changing the file system to EXT2 and back. Seems like it has sth to do with "section super" access rights or sth like that.
I'm not really sharp with stuff like that so I'm hoping someone bright minded could help. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the answer!
Don't wanna sound stupid but what does it mean exactly. What should i do?
Is there such an option in TWRP that i don't know of? Is it the "Disable MTP" button? If so i can't mark these exact 3 to change them
PROBLEM SOLVED!
I reinstalled vanilla ROM and tried again with OrangeFox Recovery in which i had unmount options. It worked!

Question Root file manager impossible delete system file on Android 11

Hello all I want to delete Facebook services and Facebook installer app folder in root>system>priv-app directory... I installed some file manager app with root access but none can delete that folders... Anyone know how fix this problem ? This is a big problem for me...
Thanks to everyone.
Is the application running in the background. You can't modify files if they are currently in use
However otherwise it might be an issue with the way magisk works and so there might not be a solution (i.e magisk is systemless so it doesn't actually modify system files it just mounts modified file in such a way that Android sees the file changes whilst the actual system remains unmodified)

This is very complicated now. Systemless root has a lot of benefits but it also has lost some of its power. This is 1 area that is hard because technically no you can't touch the system otherwise it'll bootloop on all of my devices. If your rooted with magisk you have busybox magisk installed than you want to get system debloater module on magisk manager and use termux or terminal emulator but termux is the best than you can use the system debloater module to find system apps and uninstall them. It works on some of my android 11 devices not all it's getting outdated. I use it to uninstall Facebook and actually YouTube on Samsung that way I can use vanced YouTube properly. I don't understand why you can't just delete the app but the system isn't writable I believe. You would have to use adb or twrp recovery and there's no real information on this topic. Magisk isn't as good as people think though for instance the build prop module if it was really able to hide your device when I signed into my Google account it would say I was on a new device not the device I'm using trying to hide
Have you tried to remove them using TWRP? That shall do it.

I installed Swift Backup (paid latest version) and tried uninstalling system app. But there is only option to disable system apps.
Also I need a way by which I can even paste files in system/app folder so that apps behave like system apps.
By the way I did use magisk module Systemizer. It was a bit complicated for me and did not give full access to the root folders.

If anyone tries it successfully and it will work on F3, please let me know here. Thanks.
I can verify that the above procedure worked flawlessly in first attempt. My installed rom was Xiaomi.eu 12.5.4.0 on Poco F3/ Mi 11x btw. Thanks a lot...
