NOTE: REFER TO @corey103 's POST #4 for more INFORMATION!!!!!!
This is MSM Tool for the 7T. This was sent to me for my T-Mobile variant but I guess OnePlus sent the wrong one.
I am unable to test it myself so, have at it... AGAIN this is not for T-Mobile.
Download Qualcomm driver from POST #4
MSM & ROM
https://mega.nz/#F!3p1RRQyI!H0ClCqrrNFLklgraSdogCQ
I'm downloading and working on it right now. The L2 Drivers should be easy to install, they just need to be manually installed instead of installing like you would with an executable.

This is MSM Tool for the 7T on T-Mobile, I can't get my phone to go into EDL and I'm not really sure how to set up these drivers I think that's why I can't get my laptop to read it, so to each their own and if you know what you're doing, EVEN BETTER!
Install the L2 drivers first(don't ask me how lol)

Great work, kind sir! I'm downloading as we speak. I will report back with anything, no matter how small or big. #xda
Again, thanks for putting this together! Appreciate it!:good:

You need to install the below driver to have your phone get connected.
https://mega.nz/#!7411jKpY!HutHXS6tSf9derk8d8fN5SjX8v5uKkKT41uBBfqGmpE
Here's the guide to get your phone connected and able to be restored (Note that I did NOT restore my phone via this tool so I did not test to make sure the image works)
1) Download the T-Mobile & MSM tool above (don't worry about L2 drivers)
2) Install the attached Qualcom driver. (Just keep clicking next, use default settings)
3) Run MSM tool
4) On phone (After shutting it down completely), hold the volume buttons and plug it in. You should hear your phone disconnect and then reconnect. When you hear it reconnect, click "Enum" and your phone should be listed as "Connected". Do NOT let go to the volume keys until you press Start.
5) Once the process starts, it will take about 5 minutes.
Let me know if you guys have any questions.
Great work ! Thank you

I just reread what the OP said. The link in the original post is NOT for the T-Mobile variant or is that a mistake?

little strange
sorry but i was not able to download from mega.nz server. the file is too large, mega.nz has a transfer limit.
the file includes downloadtool version 4 but in your screenshot its version 5. is there an alternative download? thank you.
This is to convert TMobile version to international correct? If so, is there a way to get back to stock TMobile if something goes wrong?

Seconding this: looks like the tool we got is for version 4 which does not recognize the Target ID of the OP7T Tmo variant.
I suppose we could attempt to use something like Cheat Engine to manipulate the check, but it would be easier to patch the check out or grab it in an upload if you have it.
Could we get an upload for MSMDT 5.0? Seems like using the image included with the download will likely work so the tool is all we need now.
Is there a difference between the international and European model?
I know other people who have downloaded it without an issue, this is for international, upon investigating OnePlus sent me the wrong package. they did this to another person as well but there are developers looking into this and hopefully we will have a way to convert sooner than later I believe we just need the actual T-Mobile package for msm... I'm not 100% sure
Hopefully that is the case, I myself do not have MSM DT 5.0 I only have these downloads which is what's in the post.

I am seeing this as well. MSM 5.0 also is checking for the model number, so HD1907 (US,Tmo) are not able to flash via this method.
When I get out of the office today I will spend a few hours trying to patch the application to ignore the model check and see if I can flash the O variant onto my HD1907.

I don't see why not as long as you're still able to access the EDL mode. When the device is FULLY OFF, hold the volume buttons and plug the device in.
DO NOT LET GO OF THE BUTTONS YET.
As long as the Motorola EDL driver is installed the device should be read on COM3-7. Press Start and once MSM handshakes with the phone, let go of the buttons.
If your install fails, does not match the model, etc: Press and hold VolUp, VolDown AND Power for 15 second to reach the Fastboot driver.
Note: This will install the O variant on your phone. AFAIK there are only two variants: International (O) and India (I) but if there is an European version out there somewhere you should secure that image and use that to flash, otherwise you will be on the O variant after this flash.

I just got the Galaxy note 2 L900. It is rooted and modified for international using. It works perfect and I was about to explore the Jelly bean 4.2.2 several times but later the battery felt out (phone has no back cover). I inserted the battery back and booted but it only started then stopped at xiaomi.com logo and the phone was frozen as brick with no control at all.
So how could I recover the custom ROM. I have never done this and I really need help. Thank you you all.
Are you able to get the device into Download mode? When turning the device on hold the power button, vol down, and the home button and the device should enter download mode.

Thank you. I did this before I posted this matter but the question is which files I need to download and where I can find these files? Is is in the phone already? as I said I have never done this before.
If you can get into Download mode you can ODIN any ROM you would like to the device and fix the not booting problem. You can re-flash the ROM you were using if you choose. You would need to find an ODIN tar file to use this option to get your device working again.

Thanks again for your reply. It must be easier for me if I do the rooting or flashing of this phone from the beginning. I would read and following instruction step by step but right now it likes I am right in the middle of the jungle and really don't know where I should start. I looked for "ODIN tar file" and one link lead me to download the "odin multi downloader v3 95 exe.rar" but I found in here many files to download and one of these files is "Root mobile ODIN Pro v3 65 full" is the only file close to what I am looking for but I am not sure this is the file I need. I really needed help on this matter. You are the only one who replied my question and I believe that you can help. I wonder that you could text and help me through this matter. I would appreciate this. Thank you again

Send me the service provider you use and I will see if I can find an ODIN flashable ROM for your device. I can link you to the download and we can go from there. The first part though is finding a flashable image.

I have no idea. This phone has bad ESN and was modified for international using so it has a SIM card port now for GSM network (that the seller told me). I just have this phone in 2 day only and as I said I just played with in about 1 hours to see what options the phone could provide before the battery felt out issue. I not sure it can be use with ATT or Tmobile when it has bad ESN. I didn't tried it. I bought it on ebay for my cousin in Vietnam (price cheaper to Good ESN). So I guess it must be best for an ODIN flashable ROM for gsm network. Thank you.
The phone might not have a bad ESN it just might not be recognizing a network due to an invalid SIM or no SIM at all. The phone might work and find a network if a good SIM is put into the device. The first thing I would do though is find a stock image that is for a GSM phone. You can attempt to find out what service provider your cousin is going to use but to be honest it really does not matter with a GSM carrier and a phone that does not have SIM card restrictions which I am sure this one does not. You can look for a flashable image for Docomo, AT&T, or some other GSM provider. That will at least get you into the device so you can check out the options. You could always contact the person you got the device from and see what ROM they had installed and go back with that. Just a few suggestions.

So why we don't try Tmobile (I am using Ptel and Ptel base on Tmobile). IF it works on Tmobile then it can be unlocked later. (but I am sure the seller he told this phone has bad ESN)
Thank you.
From what I have found T-Mobile did not put out the Galaxy Nexus device. There is an option that you can try though. You can use the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit to flash stock images through ODIN and root any build you choose to use.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310
Check out this thread for the download. The toolkit provides step by step instructions when you are performing the various actions. You will need to manually boot into download mode like you did before in order to use the ODIN feature in the toolkit. Make sure you select a stock/factory image for a GSM device.

Wow. It seems too complicated. I downloaded and installed the Galaxy Nexus toolkit with GSM model 4.2.2 JDQ39 Build
in the menu it says: install/uninstall device driver on your PC [unplug device first] and many other instructions after that
But my question is where I should start from which application? I open the Galaxy Nexus toolkit folder and there are many applications in there. Should I use the Odin3_v3.07 to begin?
Do you know any "step by step instruction from the beginning"? I don't even know how to use the Odin3_v3.07 yet.
No there should be something in the ToolKit forlder named ToolKit.exe and that is what you want to open. All commands are run through the toolkit and when running it will look like a command prompt window with number options that you will type in. Commands will be displayed on the screen and you just type in the corresponding number to select options. The on screen instructions will tell you what to do at each step.

I did come to the prompt window and enter the option 1 : Install/Uninstall Device Driver on your PC (checked and saw driver on toolkit). Then reboot the phone (I guess in fastboot mode but holding vol down power and home keys) but I cannot get the serial number as show in the instruction and the phone show no activity at all. I checked toolkit and did see the USB connected Did I do something wrong?
There is a note in the command prompt window: make sure your device is booted fully into android. (how I am sure the phone is fully boot into android)
Please advice. Thank you
All the options that are listed that say booted into Android your not going to be able to use. You should be able to use any option that says via ODIN in the name of the option. When the toolkit attempts to reboot the phone and wait for fastboot you should be good if you are already in Download mode. You might have the option to flash a stock ROM via ODIN. If so that will at least get you into the phone and you can use other options in the toolkit from that point.

I tried most of the options but I could not get any control of phone in download mode. EX: I click on option 11: boot or flash .img file to device then it prompted "file not found." Other options I only message "waiting for the device" but there was nothing happen then.
I researched for the flashing the phone from beginning again but it seems nothing works for the bricked phone.

Pull the battery, wait 10 seconds. Put battery back in and press Vol. Down, Home (Middle button) and Power until you see a warning come on the screen. Press Up and you should see a picture of an Android with "Downloading" and "Odin Mode" in the upper left corner.
Once here try flashing via Odin again. If it's really a Sprint Note 2 I still suggest the MC2 Unrooted Restore to give yourself a clean slate.

OK Here are what I did:
open toolkit at command window with many options and I have chosen options:
*** 17 for GSM model adroid 4.2.2
*** 25 for USA GSM model adroid 4.2.2
and even tried ***45 CDMA LTE model adroid 4.2.2 (when I tried I did notice some downloaded files on command window and this is the only activity I have notice in entire procedure but after file is downloaded it returned to main menu and nothing happened then.
When I choose option 17 or 25 or 45 I got into the same menu with many of fastboot , ADB mode... options. As I said I tried most of these but nothing works.
you said try flashing via Odin again. I tried to locate the MC2 Unrooted Restore but could not find it. Please advice. Thanks

Let's skip the toolbox for a moment.
1) Download this file:
http://www.rwilco12.com/Files/Devic...rooted/SPH-L900_MC2_1090526_Stock_Restore.exe
2) Open it. It will unpack another EXE in Odin-OC.
3) Set phone into Odin mode as previously posted.
4) Connect USB cable to PC, open EXE in Odin-OC folder.
Once shows connected, click Start.
That should get you going. If you still have problems let me know.

Cool. Thank you very much. You are really big help. Just restored the phone back to the Original Sprint android version 4.1.2 Hard ware version L900.09. Hello friends,
I come across this forum as conceptualized ask for help to solve a problem I'm experiencing with my LG G3. I have a LG G3 D855 asiatica oringe and how much like customizations made some changes, nothing that had not already been done on other devices I've ever had and never had a problem. Once you have downloaded the root Xposed, and some modules framework, using usually came after that, more to my surprise when making a frustrated attempt to install a font that I downloaded from this forum and try to install the app IFont, I realized that the machine began to take much to restart and the worst is that this delay was increasing and even though I desistalado some applications and the source itself, I realized that this delay only increased. Just to give you an idea, the last time I tried to restart took 48 minutes. I tried to go into recovery mode in various ways, in no more managed to get him into recovery. I tried to restore factory settings through and he was not called for more black screen and only the LED flashing blue and red. Please if anyone can help me I earnestly beg you pass me an email: [email protected] or answer right here.
Grateful.
try to get into recovery by powering the phone off. remove and reinsert battery. plug USB lead into USB 2 port on the computer. press and hold the volume up button. keep the button pressed while you plug in the usb lead to the phone. that normally gets in to recovery. (does not always work with a USB 3 port for me).
then flash kdz in "normal mode" using the instructions in another thread. or use the LG more support tool. (sorry, not able to search for the correct threads at the moment, need to log off for a couple of hours...)

Even following the tutorial restoration via KDZ not had success, catering to more starts in less than 2% of a message to retry, or my device is stuck without being able to restore even via KDZ, does anyone here know of one restuara hint how the recovery mode LG G3?
you might want to do a clean reinstall.
Download the KDZ file (V10h or V10j) and try with the CSE flash option in LG flash tool.
boot into download mode (hold power up and insert USB into PC) and then hit CSE flash.
even if the tool says it's done, just wait - do not click Exit. The phone might still do the upload (check the progress on the phone itself).
Be careful about the version of the KDZ file you download - do not use a 16 GB version if you have a 32 GB phone!

an extensive list (albeit not complete) is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2791761
I haven't seen any Brazilian ROMs and I'm not sure if flashing another region would affect 4G reception or not.
Your best bet is to try via the LG PC suite (link with tutorial in my previous post) or get the KDZ for you phoe from LG site:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b...2.jsp?esn=<IMEI HERE>
You just need to replace the red text in the link with your IMEI (it is on the box or invoice).

You just need to replace the red text in the link with your IMEI (it is on the box or invoice).[/QUOTEFinally I managed to solve my problem, thanks a lot for your attention and for the tips.
Big hug and God bless you!

So, I soft bricked my TMO OP9P. I can still access Fastboot but can't access anything else. After leaving fastboot, when the phone is rebooting, I just get a black screen.
On plugging it in, It shows up in ADB as unauthorized, and with no prompts to authorize, I can't get any further.
Any ideas?
I did that to an HTC U11 once - Never got it recovered, had to toss it...
Never dared relock a bootloader since...
I had the same thing happen to me.
The only thing that worked for me is to boot recovery and wipe system. Good luck

i have the same problem let me know if you figure out a way around this !
For all of you having this issue, simply use the msm for your respective device by unplugging your phone, select power off, enter edl mode with cable plugged in and run the tool. I know another solution, but please PM me if this one doesn't work.
I had this issue as well, but you better not have messed with the sensitive partitions without a backup, otherwise there's no way to repair it.

Did you try booting your phone into EDL mode? Hold down both the volume buttons, and while holding them down, plug in the USB cable (Connect with the PC). If you're on Windows, check the device manager in the control panel, and check if the PC recognized the phone (you might need to install the drivers too).

Yes, it's for the Pro, but the procedure is the same. A good thing is that EDL works. Now just grab the MSM Tool for your model and flash it.

im sorry i just realized i jumped in the middle of a different thread. This happened while trying to flash tmobile oneplus 9 pro to global firmware and after trying to enter recovery mode. Im guessing it happened because the files are for one plus 9, so im looking for the files for a 9 pro conversion but only am finding msm tool downloads for conversion instead of flashbin files.

i have the le 2127 from tmobile because i didnt know any better. i dont want to root or do anything crazy. I just want to be able to flash to global or eu firmware so i can upgrade as oneplus releases the updates and not be a year behind on tmobiles schedule. I have the sim and bootloader unlocked successfully. I started to flash to the one plus 9 firmware because i somehow missed that it did not say pro. So now my phone in unresponsive except for QDL 9008 mode. MSM tool recognizes it and begins to update it but then gets a param preload "device not image match" message in red and stops. So once i figure out how to get past that and get this set to factory, i want to properly flash it to global or eu, whichever is available, and upgrade it to the latest version.

Are you getting the mismatch on the global/eu MSM or are you trying to flash back to stock T-Mobile? You're getting a mismatch because you're most likely using the wrong version of a firmware (msm).
Hi Guys,
Oneplus 9 Pro
I installed LineageOS 19.1 and Gapps and all worked fine. The phone booted up and entered setup. I skipped setting it up as I wanted to relock the bootloader so I could use Google Pay.
After rebooting into fastboot, I typed in "fastboot oem lock" and now I'm in an infinite loop. Phone starts up for 1/2 a second I see the startup flash for a split second and then it reboots.
I cant enter fastboot mode or recovery and holding down vol up or down does nothing along with holding power button. The phone literally stays on for 0.5 secs...
Please help

You cant relock bootloader on a custom rom unless stated so.the only option you have is to try and get it into edl mode and msm back to stock

Thank you. Just managed to get into fastboot by holding both vol up and down at the same time. Reflashing now. I hear of people relocking the bootloader after installing LineageOS. Is there any way to do this. All I really want is google pay
Cheers for the help

If you want Google Pay, locking bootloader won't help you.
Set your fingerprint to an A11 print with props config, install Universal SafetyNet fix, and clear data on play services. Easy.

Appreciated though my phone is now a paperweight . No fastboot etc. Just a blank screen. Qualcomm driver detected when I plug it in but MSM tool fails ;(
From my understanding you should never re-lock your bootloader unless you're on stock, with no modifications flashed, unless you want to deal with a bricked phone. MSM is your only hope. When you open the MSM tool you need to put your phone in EDL Mode you have connect it to the MSM tool quickly, is that the issue? If you have the Qualcomm driver detected then, maybe you're missing a vital step?

This isn't very descriptive. MSM Tool is fussy, you have to use the right combo of settings and you have to be quick about it.
Open the MSM Tool, check use lite firehose, click Start so it's already looking for the phone, press and hold both volume buttons and while doing so connect the cable.
If it gives you device not match image error, try to uncheck Sha256 check too and if that doesn't work, download the Indian variant MSM and try that.

If that works, you then need to flash the appropriate downgrade package to get back on the right software for your model. Unlock the bootloader and use the local update tool and flash the downgrade package from your model from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-9-pro-rom-ota-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.4254587/
If your phone can go into EDL, it should be able to be recovered, it just is the matter of finding the right combination.

Thanks for the advice. Not sure if it's having the Chinese version is the issue but heres what I tried.
Tried the EU and global version of MSM.
With stock settings I get
"Sahara communication failed"
With lite firehouse checked I get "incorrect image ......" With and without SHA.. checked. Tried to download the Indian rom but got an anti-virus message (had these with Linux based PC/Android images before so we going to revisit)
This is where I was at when I posted the paperweight message above and had spent the day on it, not a great idea when you're in the middle of Uni exams
Will revisit the Indian rom though. Thanks for the advice again

The Indian MSM Tool doesn't seem to actually run those checks to make sure the device firmware matches for some reason. I have used it on my regular 9 to recover it when none of the other MSM Tools would work.
Disable your antivirus before running MSM Tool as it can trigger false positives. None of these files are infected though. They all trigger multiple false positives but the EXE is the same across all of them.

Hey guys,
I wanted to try out a custom rom, so I unlocked the bootloader of my phone and installed orange fox recovery successfully. Since I somehow uninstalled MIUI in the process of installing orange fox, I downloaded a .zip file containing a custom rom for my device (its called Cherish OS, but that shouldn't be the problem here). Since I wiped the whole internal storage of my phone, I used the "adb push" command to get the according file onto my Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. After installing the .zip file using orange fox, I pressed "reboot". However, my phone just shut down and did not reboot as it was supposed to do. I tried holding down the power button for at least 10 seconds to get it to boot, however the screen remained completely black. Even pressing volume down and power button did not help, the same with power up and power button. Whatever I tried, the screen remained black (no bootlogo etc).
I then charged up my phone, but that did not solve the issue either (before installation it had 47%, so I doubt that the battery died during installation as its a brand new phone).
One thing to notice is that my Windows PC makes a sound when I plug my phone into my Computer, as if I has plugged in a harddrive or something. But I can't get it to show up in the file explorer or with "fastboot devices". So clearly something happens when I turn on my phone, but the screen remains off.
I really hope you can help me to bring my (brandnew) phone back to life!
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: I used an ampmeter to check the charging current, its only around 60mA even though I used the official 33W charging brick.

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately my phone is completely fried. I can't access fastboot mode. Any ideas how to fix this? As I have already mentioned, I guess its in EDL mode and to my knowledge only certified repair shops (or scammy internet advertisments) can resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance!
