Hey guys and gals!
How high are ur hopes for a Xiaomi A3 Lite? I would love to see the Mi 9 SE as an Android One Version with more battery capacity.
Screens from other phones are too big for me and I really enjoy using A2 Lite with 4000mah.
Anyone has some information about an upcoming A3 Lite?
The current Mi A3 already is already kind of lite in my opinion (It's quite cheap, the much discussed display resolution etc.) , I don't think they will come with a device with lower specs than that.
I think more people are awaiting a mi a3 PRO

Xiaomi MI series vs. Xiaomi REDMI series = which line is better?
Everybody knows that Mi series goal is to be better than Redmi at least in specs and performance.
But how about performance to price ratio, how about all other things that You dont worry and dont expect in REDMI casue it's cheap but You do expect it in the MI series?
What are the problems/things that You don't like in MI series?
What are the problems/things that You don't like in REDMI series if there is any? WHY? Cause we all know not to expect wonders for a low budget priced phones.
I've talked to many people who had/have REDMI and MI series Xiaomi phones (clients, selllers, internet folks, friends) and they only agree on ONE thing -the price is great wheter it is REMI or MI phone.
A strange thing happens.... REDMI owners are always satisfied. The only thing that bothers not all of them is the camera quality.
But in low and middle price segment REDMI beats EVERY other BRAND.
Xiaomi has also great prices in the high end flagship models but here MANY PEOPLE are dissapointed.
For example camera quality, screen quiality, body, bezel, bugs, no NFC, no european B20 LTE band.
The MI users also tell me that non of the above bothers them but something totaly different. EACH person = an original problem with MI device.
Can You please tell me what are Your problems/dislikes with MI and REDMI devices cause I'm about to buy one from each segment?
What should I worry about (Android updates maybe?) buying a REDMI and a MI phone IN YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIANCE?
People who complain about camera quality on the MI Mix 2 are comparing it to flagships that cost significantly more--and that was before the price drop on the MI Mix 2. At this point flagship phones from Samsung, Apple and Huawei cost more than twice what a MI Mix 2 costs. If you are willing to spend $800-$1000 on a smart phone then you will certainly get a better camera. I don't expect a fantastic camera at this price point.

I'm sure the releasing Mi Mix 2S had something to do with that price. And BTW It should have equal cam quality like S9+ (DXoMark)

That psychological problem affects 90% phone users,
Redmi product line is ODM. The flagship models of MI/MIX are OEM.

If Mi/Mix are truly OEM, then who is the Client that provided Xiaomi the product design and specifications?
Hmm

In other word. MI/Mix are designed by xiaomi itself. Redmi is provided by a company called longcheer, even though xiaomi is holding much of it's share.

So in the long run (to receive updates for example as long as possible) it is better to buy a Mi rather than Redmi phone?
My previous phone is no longer fixable and that means I've to search for a other phone.
After a some time of searching work, I have now these two phones left at the list:
- Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite
- Xiaomi Poco X3
My requirements for the phone is:
- A free unlockable bootloader
- A price no higher then €320,00
- 128GB storage
- A good camera (I've a Instagram account and I post pictures there and because I want good quality pictures)
- More then 3000mah battery
- Good performance (Especially gaming)
- Running Android
I've watches many video's and readed many articles but I can't still decide which phone, so some advice is appreciated.
I readed that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has a bad microlens camera and the camera feels sluggish, maybe someone here uses a Xiaomi Mi10T Lite and can tell me if it's true.
And the Xiaomi Poco X3 doesn't support 5G so it's less futureproof, because I expect to use the phone for some years I expect that 5G will be commonly avaible in my country then (The Netherlands)
I'm also impressed by by the latter and the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is the same in terms of performance as the Xiaomi Poco X3, but I'm very confused right now.
So the big question is, which phone is the best option for me if you look at my requirements?
I have zero experience with X3 (NFC), but 10T lite sounds like it ticks all your boxes. Macro camera is a joke (no autofocus), but it doesn't really bother me, I simply don't use it.
You can find some comparison between 10T lite and X3 in this Russian forum (use Google translate), the general consensus is that 10T lite is improved X3. And upcoming X3 PRO will be improved 10T lite.. I think that at the end it comes to the cost - if you're money's tight, go with X3, if you can get a good deal on 10T lite, buy 10T lite.
Update: I've chosen the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 128GB as my next phone.
It has a better processor as the Xiaomi Poco X3 128GB, although the latter has a smaller battery capacity I find performance more important than battery capacity so I don't really mind using a phone with a smaller battery capacity if I get a better performance in exchange.
That means the question is now answered so thank you for your help!
However, if my sister finds it too expensive and tells me she can't order that phone then it will be the Xiaomi Poco X3. (I'm only 17 years old and I'm not allowed to order stuff on my own)
Update: I received my Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite and I can say that I'm very impressed.
I'm amazed by it's battery life, camera and performance.
120hz is very smooth.
I had to first get used to MIUI because it's kinda different from the other Android UI's but I'm satisfied now.
MIUI is a very beautiful UI imo.
Very nice, you can get a custom ROM and tweak it if you like
Hi, i have a mi8 and looking foward to update to mi10t pro or mi 11, which phone do you guys recomend?, i've seen from myself that mi 11 has some heating issues and some issues regarding software and hardware ( the camera and the apps sometines closes ), but that should get fixed by a update no ?
What phone should i get?
heya, i saw myself moving from mi8 to 10T (non pro). IF you are that kind of guy really into the diferences between amoled and IPS you might complain a bit... for me the screen of 10T is very good, dont really miss the mi8.
Battery is awsome on 10T, cameras are good, guess on 10T pro are better for me i'm fine without OIS and all those MPX.
The only think i kinda miss from mi8 might be the size (a bit smaller then 10T) nothing else...

Haven't had too much experience with IPS lcd phones, but the ones i had were old as heck, seeing some benchmarks and my top phones is 10t pro, mi 11, and oppo x3 pro, i dont look that much for performance since Snapdragon 865 is fine, looking more for a bit camera nad system UI
I had to return my Mi 10t Lite due to a fault and got a Full Refund.
I am happy to get the 10t Lite (128GB) again, but want to know if the Poco F3 is a better option instead?
What is putting me off is that there is no SD card slot on the F3 and the 256GB option is out of my budget.
I looked at the Note 10 Pro due to 2 SIM slots and dedicated SD slot but the lack of 5G was am issue for me.
I am trying to future proof a bit as I don't change my phone that regularly.
The newer Mi model Mi 11 Lite 5G seemed to be inferior to the Mi 10T Lite is my opinion.
One of the things about the 10t Lite that I don't really like so much is the look of the camera layout on the back, not as smart as those lined up on the left side which seems more common now.
So it is Mi 10T Lite Vs Poco F3 - unless there is another option I am missing in a similar price range?
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Poco f3 has a better CPU
Hey guys, i'm in a bit of a dilemma and wondering if any of you can help me choose. My mi 9T broke and i need to buy a new phone, i could buy a brand new mi 11 lite for like 290 USD or a barely used secondhand mi 10t for around 320 USD.
Should i buy an older mi 10t? does it have any known issues? or should i buy a brand new mi 11 lite?
I come from a 9T using Pixel Experience and was super satisfied. Since I use custom roms, I'm not as satisfied with my 11 Lite in terms of software (also, I think the camera is even a downgrade from the excellent 9T using the Gcam).
If you like custom roms, at least take a look to the scene in the 10T forums before changing phones. I hope it's more active than this one.
