[Q] registration and rooting without tripping knox

I purchased the 32GB 10.5 from best buy... yeah, I know...
When I try to register it on Samsung's site it is not available as a model number (SM-T800NTSEXAR)
Calling them only produces confusion on their part... Anybody else have the same problem?
Also have we a way yet to root without tripping Knox?
Thank you!!!!

I'm also interested on "Knox' s question".
I tried to ask it on developers post, but I can't. I've less than 10 posts
I just had the same response as you. I too bought a 32gig from Best Buy. I also tried to register it but couldn't because it only has the 16 gig model listed so I called the help desk at Samsung. These guys really have no idea what they have. I got so frustrated that I hung up and called Best Buy and talked to the Samsung guy there that I bought the tablet from. He tried to get hold of his supervisor but never got an answer. I'll dig a little deeper and see what I can find out and let you know.
Has anyone registered their 32gb 10.5 yet?

[Q] Unlocking a GS3 with Stock 4.4.2

Hi guys I am new to doing these things on GS3, Is is the same thing on Note 2?
I'm sorry in advanced if there's already a thread that answers this question but I looked and searched around to no avail/
I am just careful as the Note 2 is simpler as I easily find solutions to my problem here in the forum.
I am a lurker and just made an account to ask this one question that no one seemed to ask yet: Is there any way I could unlock a GS3 with 4.4.2?
It's unrooted as for some reason SuperSU isn't working. I am going to try to see what I can do about that.
This was my brother's phone, He then upgraded to 4.4.2 then asked me why his new carrier sim doesn't work and was asking for an unlock code.
TLDR: Upgraded to 4.4.2 and out of options for unlocking network.
TYIA guys.
Youll have to buy an unlock code online. Ive seen reports of some places charging just a few bucks. No other known way right now.

It would be mighty awesome if you know those said websites that can unlock 4.4.2 kitkat GS3. Thank you for the info at least someone replied.
If you or a friend are (or were) on AT&T at some point in time, you might be able to request an unlock code via this form
https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/client/en_US/termsAndCondition

Yeah I will try that, But Bell Mobility costs 50 bucks to do that. So I might just look for an unlocking service site. Anyone here know one that works with the gs3 OTA 4.4.2?
Thank you for the reply.

Does anybody have T-Mobile SIM working on KK(4.4.2)?

I searched thru many threads and cannot find a definite answer.
Seems like update to 4.4.2 locks previously unlocked SIM on GPad.
Does flashing an "old" modem img solve the problem?
I just scored one on ebay with the intention to replace my T-Mobile Samsung Tab 3 7".
But..I need to be able to use it with T-Mo SIM.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone?

[Q] GSM international unlock for s6 & s6 edge?

ThereĀ“s any mod or method to unlock the gsm functionality of the galaxy s6 and s6 edge?
No hidden menus or something to try?
Thanks
I called sprint and got mine internationally unlocked without any questions. Just renewed my two year contract with the S6
root and use galaxy tools
but anyone can confirm if it works? the thing is that you can find a cheap sprint version of the s6 and s6 edge, but without the certain of a possible unlock, its not worth it.
yea i used it
Please post a small tutorial of tools used, a lot of people will be grateful.
Do you know if its a permanent unlock? in what country did you try it?

hi this really works, i unlocked mine one minute ago, Thanks.
Great, I'm still waiting for the Galaxy to come to my country, will update my results.
Shatta in what country did you try the phone? Do you think it will work with the tmobile and att versions?
Can someone put a screenshot proving it?
I'm overseas and I want to buy a sprint Edge, but I need to confirm it first to buy the phone.
And... Does it only work on wcdma or does the 4g work too?
any tutorial?

Help flashing t-mobile firmware to SM-G9600 (international unlocked)

Hi all,
I recently purchased a galaxy s9, model SM-G9600. I have never flashed a phone before so I'm quite new to this all. The problem with this phone is that it has no wifi-calling option in the settings. I currently have my t-mobile sim card in it. I've tried looking all over for an outside solution to this or if it is possible to just flash the proper t-mobile firmware to be able to get the wifi-calling option in the phone. I cannot seem to find a concrete answer/directions as to how to solve this. I was wondering if anyone could help me find a concrete answer and/or point me in the right direction.
Thank you in advance!
Hiya bud. Well the answer I'm gonna give is one you probably won't enjoy much, but no one else responded sadly.
I'm pretty sure that the wifi calling option will only work if you're on the correct calling network (I believe only tmobile branded for that software ).
I could be wrong though and the calling may work for other carriera, but I just thought I'd warm though ahead of time on your quest for the holy grail in case anyways.. If things work out better for you, then definitely let us know!
Cheers bud!!
Did you get it to work?
