Hi
Can someone help me or give some guidance please, how to downgrade from stock PIE to stock OREO (initial release) without brick it, relock bootloader or lose option to unlock it and root again?
current status:
V20d-EUR-XX
Android sec. patch: 1.9.2019
Bootloader unlocked
ROOT yes - Magisk v20
region from IMEI (imeipro.info)
Buyer code: DEC
Buyer name: GERMANY COMMON
any other imeichecker ABC Germany
I want flash this one:
File name: G710EM10b_00_0521.kdz
Model: LMG710EM
Operating system: Android 8.x Oreo
Region: DEC
Country:Unknown
Description: Unknown
I did mistake years ago, got iphone and now after return I'm out of picture......everytging is changed
thanks
I think none of the firmwares have changed the anti roll back (ARB) value, so you should theoretically be able to follow the tutorial for cross-flashing Pie but instead flash the Oreo KDZ. I've previously downgraded my phone from European Pie to ULM Oreo without issue using the same approach.

Are you running stock rom? Is the bootloader unlocked or not?
I'm running the ROM that was on the device when I bought it. Bootloader was not unlocked.
EU version, today received (AT LAST!) 8.1
Downloading at the moment. Do not ask what is different, it is my son's phone.
Hi guys I am new to this forum so if this thread is in the wrong section I apologize.
I have Samsung galaxy J7 2017 phone (SM-J730F). which I bought carrier free-unlocked from a seller in Croatia.
Unfortunately I was stupid enough to fall for the OTA update and installed Oreo on it, after that my phone's battery
life was cut in half and apps started hanging and crashing. I wan't to revert to Nougat, I have tried to flash
two official ROMS downloaded from updato and sammobile but it fails every time. Yes I have tried
multiple usb ports, cables and etc. Problem is I can't find the carrier free ROM for CROATIA on neither updato nor sammobile
and I downloaded south east europe rom which doesn't want to flash. By browsing through multiple pages
I found that the problem might be in the bootloader version, Oreo has higher bootloader version and doesn't
allow flashing a rom with lower bootloader version (which I havent checked). Please guys if someone could help
me with this, cause oreo is driving me crazy and basically making my device unusable. I'd appreciate it if someone could provide
links and tips or walkthroughs. Thanks in advance

hello everyone.
I have a G710EMW phone, but i am using the Italian EM OPEN PIE version on my device right now
yesterday i saw that australian PIE for EMW pie with august security patch was released
G710EMW20h_00_0809.kdz its the rom
I want a ROM without carrier customization and etc, should i wait for the OPEN one or can i flash this one on my device without any problems?
note:
My phone its not australian
I currently have an AT&T unlocked LG V35 with:
Android: 8.0.0
Software Version: V350AWM10n
I was wondering if I could skip 9 and go straight to Android 10 when the kdz file gets available in this lg-firmwares site.
This will be my first attempt and I wanted to know if the kdz file contains the full Android image much like a Windows/Linux ISO so that you can just install it on the phone with no other files or OS that's already on the phone.
Thanks!
Yeah you can. Wait for the NAO/ ULM firmware. A guide will come out then
I don't think that would be a good idea. People have been having issues crossing over even from Oreo awm to Pie ulm let alone jumping straight to 10. I suggest cross-flash from AT&T Oreo to ULM Oreo first, then upgrade to Pie so you're ready for Android 10 when it comes out. Another benefit of doing it incrementally is that we know ARB version does not change between Oreo and Pie on this phone, so if for some reason you screw up or want to revert or get bricked, you can easily unbrick your phone.
Thanks for your inputs, I'll wait for the guide and go from there.
