Galaxy watch active 2 - Samsung Galaxy Watch

hey is there anyone who can help with my watch?
I have Samsung galaxy active 2 current version :R820xxu1ashf/R820oxa1ashf and still on ver: 4.0.0.6, however I assume that I should be on 4.0.0.7. whenever I try to update via galaxy wearable app the popup appears 'no updates are available'
anyone can explain how much longer I have to wait inorder to receive the update ? or
is there any easier way to update using windows like we can do the Samsung phones via odin?
ps: don't give the link of the method the @tb guy has resolved his Samsung pay problem, there are some instructions that are not easily understandable.
further if somehow I manage to change my csc using those weird instructions how am I supposed to get the stock firmware for my related csc .

I make a factory reset and then, galaxy wearable app tell me to update my watch to 4.0.0.7 (R820XXU1BSJ6)

I heard that I won't be able to change it back to official anymore? Is that true? And I know how to flash it now thanks to sammobile
You can still update even on custom, mine received two updates so far but only automatically. You can't manually check for the OTA update when in custom. I know this because I've experienced it.
Or you can install xposed frameworks from the web and get wanam from play store, spoof software status to official and check for OTA updates no problem. Root requires for this method. All these steps are in XDA somewhere, just have to search a little. (Not necessarily on this forum but all Samsung device forums)
Please forgive me I'm too lazy to post a link for you and its hard for me to find it right now because I'm on mobile.

That's absolutely fine. Thanks for your help though, greatly appreciated. You see this is my first Samsung device that's why I'm so concerned and confused.. I'm concerned because if I sell this tablet to anyone they would probably be mad about being it on custom status and can't manually check for software updates. But thanks for giving great info. One question though, will my Knox trip again if I reroot? Knox 0x2?
Tab Pro 8.4
I've rooted many times but stayed on 0x1. Not sure what else can tick more. I've rooted and installed custom ROM on many occasions but stayed on 1.

Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Kitkat 4.4.4 Update Problem

I've recently been having problems update both of my parent's Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 WiFi edition firmware from Kitkat 4.4.2 to Kitkat 4.4.4 via OTA. Everytime I attempt to perform the firmware it would crash at the 31% progress mark and reboot normally, then a "Firmware Update Error, please update using Kite via a PC" error message.
Has anybody else experience the same problem updating their Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 to Kitkat 4.4.4 via OTA or Kites connected to a PC?
Have exactly the same problem at the same point. No solution so far. Will post update if sorted.
I contacted Samsung Support Services about this problem and they want me to participate in a live interactive session, where they can help me install the firmware. But I honestly don't think thats gonna help as I think the Kitkat 4.4.4 firmware update maybe nuked in the first place.

Having the same issue here, have tried via both OTA and KIES which result in the 31% fail.
Would love to see this resolved, not because I'm bothered by the update, more that the message popping up is worse than a nagging ad.
Care to share the name of that FW and check if it is listed at www.sammobile.com

OK, now I think I may have notice what the problem is. On sammobile the firmware update is stated as a update for 4.4.2 Kitkat rather than 4.4.4 Kitkat. I think that maybe what is causing the problem as somebody at Samsung has clearly released a update patch for 4.4.2 Kitkat but has somehow nuked and released it as 4.4.4 Kitkat firmware update.

Hopefully you will have better luck than I did! I've been emailing Samsung for weeks since I've had this problem and they have yet to get back to me.
[Update]
I just received a phone call today from Samsung Support UK, I explained my problem very clearly and they have explained that it is not a problem at their end. But they have recommended me that I should do a factory reset of both my parents SGT 3 7.0s and then attempt to install the firmware update. Which is completely stupid as I'm not the only person to experience this problem.
So I'm just gonna wait and see if they get anymore complaints about this problem. Then hopefully they will fix the problem with this firmware update.

It does take them a while to reply to you. Sometimes it maybe a week but most of the time it will be longer for them to reply to you.

T-Mobile Galaxy Watch SM-R805U 46mm LTE Will Not Update. Period. Help!

Since I purchased the watch from my local T-Mobile back in August 2018, I have never been able to update the thing. battery life is abysmal along with a few other glitches. According to T-Mobile (and their "updates" website), I should have received at least 2 updates since then.
I am currently running SW version R805USQU1ARH8
Tizen Version 4.0.0.0
The watch, itself, does not have an "update SW" option.
The Wearable app always gives me the same message..."You're on the latest software version. No updates available"
Everyone, from Samsung to T-Mobile's reps seem completely stumped. I have reset the watch, reset the phone, updated the Wearable app, so many times I have lost track - I'm hoping that someone here can help me fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.
I did it with net Odin and I think you update it with Samsung watch app on your phone
1.
Why not use warranty blabla crap and T-Mobile Service center or Samsung should update the watch...
2.
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/TMB/SM-R805U/version.xml
If SM-R805U is T-Mobile CSC/Sales Code... then you see how many Firmwares official and latest... in this Link.
3.
Update mechanism is """"Running Gag"""...
If you choose to use Phone + ugly Samsung Software...
Phone look for Update on Server....
Menu on SM-R805U is DEACTIVATED...
3.1
If you choose Standalone Configuration... you will find menu Software update... on Watch
4.
Update at Home are more risky... require netOdin AAAAAAAAAANNNNd you need the Firmware Files.... leaked files...
Most on PAID Sites... example:
https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=35613
Best Regards
go to settings use dial code to factory reset or did you try that
I had the same issue, I used the post here with the BSE3 update and odin to update my watch the newest version. My watch was doing the same thing saying it was updated when it was not. It was super simple and didn't take that long.

Update Firmware SM-G965U

Hi guys, I recently purchased a refurbished S9+ without knowing the model and it turned out to be a SM-G965U. After a failed software update ("Your current software isn't supported. Visit a service centre"), I've been trying to find a way to update the phone to 'official' Android 10. Does anyone know if this is possible or is the phone locked to Android 9?
'OEM Unlock' is missing from developer settings which (I think) means it can't be rooted with any common method. But is it possible to flash the phone with an official, working version of Android 10?
I'm willing to use any method required (within reason) to update the phone to a working version of Android 10. I'm aware of the "Extreme Syndicate" root method but the bugs / missing features rule it out for me. I intend to get a refund for the phone if it can't be updated to Android 10 so I'd really appreciate any answers to my questions.
Thanks!
You can manually update your phone by using Odin, and download the latest firmware available by using Frija

That's good news. Just to confirm, I can manually update with Odin WITHOUT unlocking OEM in the develop settings? Thanks for replying.
Just confirming that I successfully updated to Android 10 using Odin. The CSC I used is for an American carrier and the phone tries to register on its network but that's easily disabled. Had to be done after every reboot but it's a small price to pay for a working phone....
Hello Guys, I'm currently stuck on G965USQU3ZRLG
I made use of firmware.science to update my S9 plus to this point, but it seems there's no further firmware update for G965USQU3ZRLG to the next update file. Kindly assist, thank you.

Question How to update to Android 13 today?

Hi, I have some spare time now and need to reinstall my Fold3 anyway.
So I would like to test Android 13 and am looking for the safest way, of course without triggering knox.
Can I download and flash via Odin Indian firmware from here: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-F926B/bit/all/av/T(Android 13) ?
Or should I register as a beta tester?
My csc code is OXM via *#1234# and EUX via "samsung phone info" app.
Which way to go, please? Or point me please in the right direction.
Thank you.
Good question, im also interested in going odin way, so i could also need a secured way
I downloaded the INU rom and to keep data flash HOME_CSC, it keeps the csc that you have now
So did I. I flashed INU on my EUY F926B. When you flash Home-CSC you will keep your data.

Been there, done that, if you have critical work apps, then wait for the official update if you are not 100% sure what you are doing.
ODIN says succeeded, so im crossing fingers. Have worked with it on an older Galaxy before, but never with Firmware from another country. In CSC ive taken the HOME_CSC_OXM_F926BOXM2DVK3_MQB58858275_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5.
That should be right

I can report success, Authenticators are working, CSC is like before
Problem solved, I received official update today
Anyone in the US using VZW get the update?
