I have some issues on Arc S after upgrading to 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.587) and I did not solve it, yet .. so, is there any chance to avoid using power button as screen off/lock option? .. any widget I use does not shut down screen, in a second it goes back on .. and where is the auto-brightness screen set up, manual slider is the only option?
thanks!

I recently did a factory reset on a rooted G Pro but now the power button will not wake the phone. Everything else works fine and the home button works when the phone is already awake but will not wake the phone. This is still the stock ROM with nothing but root done to it. I can't anything about this exact problem and the threads I have found that were close to the same problem didn't shed any light on it. Can anyone please help?

Had not intentionally, but it's possible one of the mods installed had. I did a software update and it all started working again. Thanks for trying to help anyway!
I'm having an issue where the phone powers on but the screen doesn't. Occasionally i can get the screen to light up for a blink up not long enough to do anything. Anyone know of a solution to this issue?

Is it stock? If so, it sounds like a hardware problem. Is the screen off the entire time it boots as well? What do you do to get it to light up?

I just hit the power button and sometimes it comes on for a sec.
doesn't matter now as it won't even power up. Customer services is a bit of a nightmare to deal with.

Have you tried booting into recovery? Hold volume down and the power button.
Is anyone else having weird lockscreen lag after the Android 8.0 update? When the devices screen if off for 30 seconds or longer, I can scan my fingerprint and hear the unlocking sound, but the screen won't turn on until 1 second later. Same thing when I press the power button.

No problems here at all, did you do a clean install?
All fine here.
Mine is normal.
Yeah I'm getting lag also. I changed the settings to prevent the power button from locking the screen and so far has been working.

Yeah I did. Sorry for the late response. Funny enough what seemed to be the problem was Custom Navigation Bar hiding the system bars. As soon as I re-enabled them, it all went back to normal.
For some reason yesterday my phone stopped vibrating. I checked all of the setting and everything shows it should vibrate for all notifications. At the time, I was on Q Beta 4. I left the beta and factory resetting the phone. Still, it will not vibrate for anything.
Would there be anything I can check or would it be a hardware issue??

Try to pressing power + vol up for 5-7 seconds. If it vibrates it's okay otherwise some problem with the hardware

Then your vibration motor isn't working mate! It was supposed to vibrate irrespective of whatever settings you've done on your phone

I think that's a smart thing to do. Phones are never the same after being opened for repair
