Hi All
My fd update his phone to Android 9 yesterday(do it on the phone, not the computer)
When the phone is completed and restarted, it stuck in the screen logo razer and the message " download mode " in the upper part .
He tried to restart the phone, but the same problem kept happening
Then I tried to press the power button and volume "+" at the same time to enter recovery mode, but failed, it went into the download mode again..
I have tried the command " adb reboot recovery " and I have the message " error : no devices/ emulation found
Then i tried the command " fastboot reboot recovery ", it went into the download mode.
Then I tried to flash the factory images.
Sadly, he did not unlock the bootloader and did not enable USB debugging...
So i can't flash the factory images....
When I execute the flash_all script...
It show FAILED ( remote: Flashing is not allowed in Lock State
)
Is there any other way to rescue it?

Its been a month my phone sitting quite...
After updating to latest version i decided to wipe partition cache while on the process it showed erasing android bot then restarted and hung on asus logo for nearly an hour so i decided there is some problem and force switched off then after switching on it shows the blinking android error bot.........im unable to enter neither recovery mode nor fastboot mode(when entering it shows for a some seconds waiting fastboot cmd bt then comes again to the normal boot screen)....
Its been nearly a week i went thru various post and tried most of the methods like entering recovery mode thru adb(as im unable to enter fastboot mode it shows in cmd waiting for device) and pressing both buttons same for stock recovery(it shows some lines saying in last line can't mount recovery)
SO CAN SOMEBODY THROW LIGHT ON WHAT EXACTLY NEEDS TO BE DONE TO RECOVER MY PHONE FROM THIS ERROR.... would be grateful and thanks in advance.
Hello there !!
I have LG F 180L (Korean Variant) with custom rom Sling 3.3 given here.
I tried to install a rom on it usind CWM recovery but my device stucked into boot loop.
It says
"Secure Booting Error"
"Cause: Boot Certification Verify".
Now the problem is
first I tried to put the device into download mode (in order to go for TeenyBin or KDZ method)by forced power off and pressing vol up+vol down and inserting the usb but it is not working and same errors comes. No Download Mode working :crying::crying:
2ndly I tried to hard reset by pressing vol down key and power button .Reset but then rebooted into recovery Mode.
As another option I tried to adb sideload a zip ROM but it said "protocol error". Same is the case for adb push command.
Now I am stuck with secure boot error without Download Mode but I have acces to recovery mode. What should I do now????
Please completely read the problem :crying::crying::crying:

Hi, I use a Asus Zenfone 2 ZOOAD
A few days ago I decided to flash the CM13 (Marshmallow) ROM on my phone. My phone is rooted. Anyway, when I tried to enter the recovery mode using the bootloader screen ( I selected "recovery mode" by using volume up and down) I couldn't do it. So, I decided to use the adb method. I'd already done it to put the Xposed Framework. So I connected my phone to my Windows 10 laptop and tried to enter recovery. Same story. It got stuck on the bootloader. I even tried flashing the custom twrp recovery; twrp is getting installed (or so it shows on the command window) but I can't enter the recovery mode. Worst part is I can't even boot into my normal screen. When I connect my phone to my laptop, it's detected but when I try to use adb it says "device not found". I am able to execute the fastboot commands though. But all in all, I can't get out of the bootloader.
When you are in bootloader you must choose recovery then agreed (ON OFF Button) then when it reboots : "VOLUME UP + ON/OFF" *click several time*

I'm right now in 2.20.40.198 (L). I can't perform Recovery Mode functions. Tried Factory Reset, but no use. Tried placing Firmware.zip in root folder. Update is recognized but on restart there is no change. I can enter the boot menu with the dead android, but when choosing Recovery Mode, the device just gets restarted.
Asus Flash tool throws this error " XXXXXXX_frp_request_server_log.txt (error 5: access is denied.)"
The device seems to be in Fastboot Mode. Shows this:
Product_Name - Z00A
Bootloader Version - unknown
IFWI Version - 0094.1069
Serial Number -
Signing -?
Secure_Boot - ?
ADB recognises the device but when entering "adb reboot bootloader" , I am taken to the same Fastboot Mode.
Help appreciated.
Anyone here who can troubleshoot?
Thanks

Hello there,
Did you manage to solve it ? I am in same trouble now and searching for help.
Hi, right after 3 days I installed April 2020 security update on my pixel 3 XL, my phone's screen turns black and i can't unlock my phone. So i reboot my phone then it enter fastboot mode and it displayed "failed to load/verify boot images". I try using the Volume keys to scroll until Recovery Mode but it's still going to fastboot mode. The start, recovery mode, and rescue mode options all just go back to the fastboot menu with "failed to load/verify boot images".
I had try leave my phone on the fastboot mode screen until it die and plugging it back while holding the power button. Then it still just go back to the fastboot menu with "failed to load/verify boot images". I also try plug my phone into a different charger and USB-C cable but still the same problem appear.
Any help guys, what should i do ? Thank you very much.
What happens in bootloader when you type fastboot reboot fastboot?
Just download the android 10 factory image latest and google platform tools in that same page and unzip the image and copy those contents to platform tools and then using cmd prompt CD to platform tools and make sure fastboot can detect your device and then type flash-all and it should be back to factory condition.
