I recently got my new Galaxy Watch 42mm after returning the 46mm because it was too big for my rest. So far so good, However I noticed that there was an update for Galaxy Watch 46mm and I have not received any similar update for the 42mm, I am not sure if this is the latest firmware I have or not, but one thing I know is that the Active watch have a more recent firmware than either of the galaxy watches. What is your latest firmware?
My 44mm active 2 is still on ASHF
I have a 42mm Galaxy Watch running
One UI Version 1.0
Tizen 4.0.0.4
Software Version R810XXU1CSG4
Knox Version 2.3.1
Software Version R810XXU1CSG4

CSG4 is the latest Firmware I know for most CSC/Sales Codes...
Except Brazil ZTO has:
Code:
R800XXU1CSI1
R810XXU1CSI1
No idea what kind of magic is inside...
Maybe only special for ZTO devices... maybe somebody find changelog...

Aha... this is the "magic" difference...
Daylight saving time in Brazil has been changed.

I noticed that Galaxy Watch Active SM-R500 has a more updated (Tizen 4.0.0.5 and OneUI 1.2) and noticeably different software than any of the Galaxy watches (SM-R810, SM-R815) which has Tizen 4.0.0.4 and OneUI 1.0
Comparing Galaxy watch Vs. Galaxy watch active I can say that the updated Galaxy active software makes the watch more accurate and more responsive than the Galaxy Watch! Specially with tracking activities and Bixby.

Hi
I just bought the new S20+ with the galaxy watch 46 mm
I installed the My BP Lab on it, but it says ERROR "Samsung S10 don't see a active Watch synced to this phone".
The watch is connected with bluetooth to my S20+ normally.
Does it not work, or does it need any update that i don't know about?
I wanted to measure the Blood Pressure with this watch.
Thanks for any answer.
Sorry to disappoint you, but you can't measure BP with the GW46mm. That's probably why your watch is not seen by BP Lab.
Are you sure about that? Because the watch has the sensors for the mesuremamt.

Which watches are eligible to use My BP Lab?
Currently, the My BP Lab app works on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2.

Hi all.
I menaged to download the app: My Bp Lab. But everytime i launch it it says it can't find the active watch.
So my question is: is there a method to measure Blood Pressure with the Galaxy Watch 2? In any non conventional modes? Or do i have to wait until MR Samsung decides to free it up for the other watches that are not Active?
Or did i buy the wrong Watch? The sensors might be the same, as i read.
Galaxy Watch (not Active!!) 2

Maybe heat.. or maybe I am drunken or maybe I am not smart enough...
Can you give simple Model Name?
Example:
SM-R800 is IMHO device of Galaxy Watch family...
Because I have NO idea what you mean with Galaxy Watch 2?
Best Regards
There is no such watch as galaxy watch 2...
There newest ones are the galaxy watch, galaxy ative 1 and 2 and finally galaxy watch 3
The exact model is:
Galaxy Watch SM-R805F
Sorry for that guys.
This model is just the "galaxy watch" (LTE). She's not equipped to measure blood pressure.
Sure it is equipped, it is only not ompatible. So i was asking if there is a way to make the app compatible. It has the same Sensors as the Active Watch.
This site is the prove for what i sayed.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/...the-galaxy-watch-and-the-galaxy-watch-active/
The two clocks are identicall in what sensors belong. So it is only an App feature (as the mylab is still in test phase. )
it seems to me that the galaxy active is not equipped with the blood pressure sensor (only the galaxy active 2 is equipped)
SM-R500 Galaxy Watch Active 1 work with Samsung Health Monitor and Blood Pressure. :good:

@adfree, could you post a screenshot ?
Thx
Hi everyone I have the R815F version, and I think this feature will only come in a few months with the arrival of Tizen 4.0.0.8, not before I think. And seeing that this watch has never had a correct follow-up, I think there is a risk of never having it.
Hi,
New to the forum and am looking for some help. I bought a Samsung Watch 46mm from a website (cause it was 100e cheaper) and everything was working very well until Tuesday when I got a software update. After that I had a few issues.
1) the battery was only lasting max 12 Hrs - even when only in phone mode.
2) Steps not updating
3) No green flashing light on bottom - no HR.
4) Generally watch is slow to respond to actions
I was onto Samsung support and to cut a look story short they aren't able to fix because they say the S/N is showing as a non EU watch. S/N starts with RFAN Model number is SM-R800
My questions are
1) How do I find out what region my watch is for
2) How do I go back to the previous software that was working OK
The new version of Software is
One UI Watch version 1.5,
Tizen version 4.0.0.7,
Software revision R800XXU1DTG1
Knox Version 2.4.0
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Hello all, I've seen many people talking about the ecg for active 2 but changing firmware location, the question is will the active 1 have also ecg and oxygen? Is it updating with that anywhere around the world?
Then you.
i think & hope yes...provided that Samsung releases a new update with tizen 4.0.0.8 then you install "Samsung Health Monitor.tpk" and test ECG & BP capability
It doesn't have the hardware for ECG and SpO2/bloodoxygen. It might get blood pressure and VO2max if Samsung is really kind though. But given Samsung has only released tizen 5 for active 2 BT in germany and southkorea while the rest of the world and all active 2 LTEs are basically still on tizen 4.0.06/4.0.0.7 I don't think the active 1 is gonna get any updates for the next 6 months.
Hello all,
I know that the SM-R800 is already "old" , because samsung galaxy watch 3 is already here, but i saw that the specs are really similar, and i'm wondering if the SM-R800 will have a custom rom to Tizen 5.5
Thank you
If you wait long enough... weekS... monthS...

Code:

Samsung working on "something"... no idea why F instead E... maybe Tizen 6...
