Hi,
the camera on stock rom supports 960fps for just a short time which is quite uncomfortable.
is there any app that supports slow motion recording with the same framerate, even if it is just for one or two seconds?
regards,
andre

I am just wondering if anyone knows if the 120fps for slow motion video is a hardware cap or is it hard coded into the camera app?
Just curious as to if we know what the capabilities of the Image processor in the phone is - maybe a little tweak here or there and we can get even slower motion video that doesnt blur like being slowed down in software...

The hardware cap is 108fps I think, but I don't think it ever reaches that high. Every slow-motion video I've ever recorded looked like a normal one slowed down a bit.
It's a shame, because the LG Viewty (which was released about 5 years ago) had 120fps video recording, which was absolutely fantastic
I imagine we'll be able to push the fps higher with camera mods though.
As mentioned I've noticed that fast motion is clearer than normal recording just sped up so I think the hardware is doing something. Would be nice to be able to tweak the fps
Sent from my One X - ARHD3
Slowmotion video
how to fix that ? can custom rom do that ?like ARHD maybe?
I'm sorry for bad english
Hi guys, I know that some have port the functionality from the Z2, but my question is, will there be any official release for such function in the future for the Z1C? I know it is capable, but the question is, will we get it or not officially? thanx in advance.

erm, is there any particular reason why not? or can we have another app that can do the same?

Snapdragon postet the difference between 800 and 801:
QTI’s 3rd Generation LTE modem, with support for RF360 and popular requirements such as LTE-Broadcast and LTE/3G Multi-SIM
HEVC 1080p support
Support for larger, faster camera sensors and improved image post processing
Maybe you don't get a liquid 4k experience and you don`t get the full 120fps in timeshift.
So it is possible, that Sony don't want difference in their App Specification.
But i would be happy, using Timeshift video, even if it has only 116 FPS or less.

First you have to look at the Android API for the camera:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/camera.html#intent-video
and
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/camera.html#camera-features
For example Timelaps would be no problem to realize with an APP. Because its an API Feature.
For SlowMotion you need a workaround, because Android (in this case the API) do not allow this kind of command on the camera.
A Possible solution is to manipulate the System, for example with root to push our own library into the System.
Slow Motion Apps in the appstore are nothing more than recording with normal speed and slow it down afterwards. (Maybe there are Apps with root, for real slow motion)

thanx for the info capt. I really want the slowmo function because i think its cool. Anyway, if you were to suggest such app, what would it be?

I only know the Sony app, as real slow motion.
Because you need root for slow motion, i would try the Sony App. There is a thread in XDA with all Sony camera apps.
Is it possible to capture videos at 60fps or even 120fps with this phone

Same question!
Any news? I would really interested.
60/120 FPS recording is a hardware related issue, you can't do it JUST with camera SW. As far as I know (and I tried a few apps that does 120fps capture) the N3N doesn't support 60 or any higher fps. The camera on this phone is very basic and limited. It is a budget phone after all. Don't expect all the bells and whistles like Note3
1080p 60fps recording can be done on our device via Google camera
There are some bugs and force close in Google camera try to switch from front camera video to back camera this will work

Thank You!
Works great, I confirm it takes 42fps in dark room, will try tomorrow in the sunlight. A little buggy, but works. It work even better if you switch the video resolution to 720P

60fps is just a number, the SOC in moto g4 plus is not capable of handling 1080p+60fps realtime, but yes it can handle lower resolution like 720p or 480p at 60fps;
the FPS counter that you are showing is just 1 frame of image is recorded twice i.e. repeated single frame. more like its 1080i then 1080p which user progressive scan rather then
Interlaced scan. to get this effect done your camera app increases the shutter speed lower the ISO that why we re getting that slightly greenish tint.

i smell bull**** there
are you sure that those are actual 60 fps? because i'm pretty sure it's just like that in the ****in meta data of the video.
why my moto g4 plus get freeze a bit meanwhile im takeing picture or recordering on facebook app?
Wont Work...!!
Immediately force closes the camera app...
Is it working on oreo 8.1?
Is not actually "working" anywhere, just a fake.
I couldn't see any slow motion video recording on this device. Any way to have slow mo in the stock camera app?
I'm pretty sure stock has no slow motion. https://www.techworm.net/2016/12/record-slow-motion-video-android-smartphone-tablet.html
