Thank You!
Works great, I confirm it takes 42fps in dark room, will try tomorrow in the sunlight. A little buggy, but works. It work even better if you switch the video resolution to 720P

60fps is just a number, the SOC in moto g4 plus is not capable of handling 1080p+60fps realtime, but yes it can handle lower resolution like 720p or 480p at 60fps;
the FPS counter that you are showing is just 1 frame of image is recorded twice i.e. repeated single frame. more like its 1080i then 1080p which user progressive scan rather then
Interlaced scan. to get this effect done your camera app increases the shutter speed lower the ISO that why we re getting that slightly greenish tint.

i smell bull**** there
are you sure that those are actual 60 fps? because i'm pretty sure it's just like that in the ****in meta data of the video.
why my moto g4 plus get freeze a bit meanwhile im takeing picture or recordering on facebook app?
Wont Work...!!
Immediately force closes the camera app...
Is it working on oreo 8.1?
Is not actually "working" anywhere, just a fake.

I went through a few review sites and YouTube videos before buying the device and I saw Dual Shot in Camera Modes there. However, I didn't find it in my phone's Camera Modes. Why is that :s
One of the links is attached below.
http://www.techtree.com/content/reviews/5896/review-samsung-galaxy-note-3-neo.html
Camera
The Note 3 Neo sports an 8 MP camera with BSI (Back-Side Illuminated) sensor. Like most Samsung phones, the Neo lets you snap pictures while recording a video. This feature comes in quite handy.
You also get different camera modes including Dual Shot, Drama Shot, Cinema Shot, Sound & Shot, Eraser, Best Face, and Beauty Face.
Can you guys please check your Camera's Modes?
theres no dual shot in note 3 neo.in future updates maybe
no dual shot, no slow motion too. I'z sad.
hopefully in the next update! :fingers-crossed:

Just click the Shutter button and keep finger there till all 20 pics are taken. Once you go to the gallery, you will see an icon on Pic, which will play the Slow-Mo video.
Is this a h/w limitation of camera sensor or has samsung deliberately crippled down the software features of camera in Neo variant ?
Sorry to hijack your thread but I didn't find macro focus as well in the camera app by Samsung [emoji32]

That's burst shot and is not slo-mo video recording.
Korean variant of Note 3 Neo has kitkat. Are any additional camera modes included compared to 4.3 Jellybean ?

Yes that's true sire, I'm only hoping since there is a missing Display Option Mode feature too, and it was present in GSMA's Neo review. :silly:
Is there any way to enable Full HD/60fps recording? The CPU and camera hardware is capable to do more than this.
Have you tried with Open Camera

I figured out that you need to enable Camera2 Api. The app does open and gives you the opportunity to take '60 FPS' videos, however the videos aren't really 60 FPS.
Here's a link if you want to play a little bit

Did you guys made sure to set VideoFrameRate=60 in the videoprofile for 1080p inside freedcam?
If that's not helping you might consider asking the freedcam devs if they can make it possible over here?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/camera-freedcam-4-0-3-t3115548
I did also find this, but it's for Mi4 not sure if it works on the Mi6, thought.
http://en.miui.com/thread-477750-1-1.html
Also there seems to be some changes about the camera in MIUI 9 (at least for longer exposure times for photos)
None of these apps work. It really sucks, they all crash or don't record at 60fps.

You can try with Bacon camera as well, it seems to have some support for Xiaomi Mi6, but I don't know if it allows you to record 60FPS.
If not you can always try to ask the freedcam or Bacon Camera developers if they can add support for it.
However it might be that the camera drivers doesn't provide support for it, if that's the case I don't think it is possible at all.
Freedcam thread is over here:

No. Literally no app can record at 60fps.
So we've seen a couple of improvements to the camera since release, most notably with Portrait Mode recently. This is great, but where is the 60fps video? The phone must surely be capable of 1080p60 if it can do 4k at 30fps?
Neither the Razer camera app nor the modded Google Camera app I'm using allow me to select a different frame rate; does anyone know of an alternative app that can shoot higher FPS? I'd shoot 1080p60 all the time over 4k 30fps.

I'll subscribe to this thread, wondering the same thing. I have a feeling it would have to be updated by razer In firmware or some skilled coders here first. Seeing as we have treble, android P maybe? Should get released pretty quick for us!

The hardware doesn't support 4K @ 60 FPS
where do i get the Snap Drag camera?
Trying to record video with opencamera and Camera 2API but it can't record. Is this because of oreo?Did samsung changed something and we can't change bitrate videos anymore ?
Is anyone else facing this problem or I am the only one?

It's used to work in nougat. So yours don't work as well right?
Got a new update on opencamera it works again now! They added also 200mbs bitrate record insane!
I was searching for some mods for this phone (Samsung Galaxy a30s EU DISTRIBUTION) to get 50 or 60 fps video recording working. Ideally 1080p, but 720p is also fine. I didn't find anything working. I looked into the slow motion mode, and on the preview, I saw 720p60fps. So it must be possible to do it in normal speed. Any ideas? Thanks. PS: I was able to do it on my old 12MP redmi note 4, so it must be possible on this guy.

I See that the normal camera from Samsung does 30fps at 1080p and 720p. I have tested a few apps that might support 60fps at 720p or 1080p. But no luck i have tried quite a few apps. Either the app stops working. Or it gives you a error that 60fps is not supported. I have tried 5 diffrent versions of Google Camera Modded. Open Camera ( This app says its not supported cause you can select at which fps to shoot at) and MX camera which also just allowed me to to shoot at 30fps only (Matter in fact it shot at 21 fps not 30fps)
Ok nvm I will just buy a GoPro
HedgeCam maxed out at 1440x1080 60fps. You can also change the bitrate but I haven't compared the quality yet.
Exact settings

Can you tell me your exact settings? I downloaded the official hedgecam 2 from the play store, set 1440x1080 and 60 fps, frame rate not supported. If I enabled camera api 2, it just records it on 30 fps. Can you tell me the exact settings of your cam? Thanks in advance.
