Hello everyone.
Sorry for my bad English, because like any good French, I speak only a very bad English ... L
So :
The bluetooth turns off as soon as I lock my Mi A2 lite (Android 9 Pie). So, I have no more notifications on my smartwatch (garmin).
Is there a way to keep the bluetooth connection turned on all the time? This is really disturbing, because I have the problem since the time I made the update from Oreo to Pie (last January).
If you have THE solution, I am a taker.
thank you
Try disabling the battery optimization for the Bluetooth app.
Unfortunately already tried without success ... Am I the only one to have this problem?

Hello,
1) Bluetooth won't discover devices although set to discoverable to all!
2) one handed mode doesn't work at all!
3) call volume is quiet!
Miui is not what I thought it is unfortunately.
Am attaching a screenshot of my build number if someone could tell me if this is a global version or not coz honestly I don't want to update or flash a new rom for now!
Update to MIUI 8 man
you may try Factory Reset or Update to MIUI 8 and Factory Reset.. I bought 3 mi Max, and my third one acted funny, but rectifed after factory reset and also firmware update.
Thanks guys but I have heard lots of bad impressions about battery performance on miui8 compared to miui7 very good battery !
I managed to pair my BT headset with difficulty.
It's disappointing that some useful features like one handed operation doesn't work on miui7!!
Edit: one handed mode works fine!,seems I was swiping on the buttons a bit harder than needed!!
install ressurection remix..a lot of options there plus no lags
The caller will not hear me, but when turn on the speakerphone, the caller hears me well.

Anyone else experience this?
all xiaomi devices screen mirroring problem.i don't understand.i use redmi 3 , redmi 4 and now mi 6 problem continued
Maybe a MIUI issue? Works fine for me with a Philips Smart TV and my Mi6 on crDroid, AOSPA and others.
I've had xiaomi.eu ROM ON Mi5s and screen mirroring worked fine. When i updated ROM late december, iz stopped working.
Then I've bought Mi 6 with global ROM. Iz worked Like a charm. Then I've decided to change to xiaomi.eu latest ROM Android again iz stopped working.
Does anyone have a solutuon on how to fix that, or I'M stuck with non-working screen mirroring with EU ROM?
hi guys i have a problem with the voice messages on whatsapp. Often the voice message is empty, without any sound. I tried to adjust the permissions of the mic but it's everything ok.

I have the same problem on MIUI 10. Could you solve this issue??
Im facing this bug on Xiaomi.EU, and i thought it was an isolated problem of this ROM. Interesting.
Same problem here, no sound on voice notes.

It has been there for a long time and no update is fixing it. It really bugs me off.
Is there any solution to this issue?
Ah so I'm not the only one to have it ?. Well someone in another forum told me that it's an issue caused by Google assistant and disabling it I should have fix it but I did it and the situation was the same. It's 3 weeks that I'm waiting for a weekly update that could fix it but nothing...
I'm sending continuous feedback through the Mi community hoping that one of these weeks it will be fixed
TEMP SOLUTION
Find the solution. Delete cache and data of Google app and disable the access to the microphone.
i turn on microphone back to on, and whatsapp voice note still working.
PS: Same problem 8.8.17
I'm facing the same problem with 8.8.16..
Sometimes audio are good but other times no
It's really annoying
I reported this on the Miui forum a few weeks ago. They stamped the topic with ( awaiting confirmation) or something.
Today I saw an other bug report opened about the same topic,
http://en.miui.com/thread-3555184-1-1.html
Please add your comment also there
Same problem, 8.8.23.

M joining this thread too i thought it is whatsapp issue ..
My cousin got the same problem on his redmi note 5 global version. sad. i recommended that device

After the upgrade the phone cannot connect anymore with the Bluetooth of my Ford C-Max (2011, it cannot be updated and I cannot update the car yet).
Is it happening to anyone else?

Well I have worse battery live on Android 10.
Something keeps phone awake and drain battery.
I have about 1 or 2 hours less SOT.
Looking for solution. ?
I ended up upgrading, at first, my phone was lagging when scrolling in any app, and the battery was somehow draining a bit faster but I managed to fix it.
Try this if you have a related problem.
-Go into developer settings
-Scroll almost to the button
-Disable MIUI optimization
-Reboot
-Enable MIUI optimization
-Reboot
Also, the permission of most of my apps got lost, like access to the microphone, storage, phone... so I had to re-enable them manually because they were "blocked".
For those experiencing problems, it's probably worth doing a full wipe. I tend to find its needed after as version update of Android.
I did a wipe and haven't encountered problems as of yet. Bluetooth, apps and battery all fine for me.

Did a full wipe after the android 10 update and for now batterylife shortened for me. Hopefully after a few charges it will be better again.

I didn't get much feedback so I suppose it isn't a very popular issue. However, I've a solution to share for the annoying problem.
After doing a full wipe of the phone the issue was still present and I was still facing connection problems.
So I enabled the developers options menu and started to play with Bluetooth hidden settings.
At first I downgraded the AVRCP version from the default 1.4 version to 1.3 but it was not working, so I tried 1.5 (same issue) and 1.6. This version was slightly better... The car was authenticating and showing the Bluetooth audio codec in a small icon beneath the device name (Ford Audio -> SBC) but the connection was not stable and dropping. So I changed the default audio codec and I set SBC.
Everything started to work well and I was able to make several hands free call without issues anymore.
I hope it helps whoever could have similar issues.

Today I discovered that settings changed in the developer menu are not persistent and don't survive to a phone reboot. So every time I get in the car I've to repeat settings.
This is quite annoying, any solutions other than waiting for another software update?
Another alternative would be changing the car, but it's more expensive than buying another mobile phone.

Think you are right on the battery. Mine has settled down and not as good as before
I think after few cycles of charging it will be better...

Changing profiles in the developer menu is not helping... I was able to make a couple of calls, no more. Connection is continuously dropping.
Full wipe was not a solution. Before the upgrade I never had a disconnection.
I also tested a couple of Bluetooth profiles apps, including Android Auto, but no luck.
I think we need a fix ASAP.
Is there an official support site where to make complaints regarding this update?
Ever since I updated to 11.0.3.0PGGEUXM I've been unable to use one of my wallet apps (bbva wallet), and am afraid something else breaks if I update; has anyone from Mexico updated and been able to use it again, along with citibanamex pay?

I'm opening a ticket reporting this issue with my phone...
I hope It will work
After 20 days I decided to downgrade back to MIUI V11.0.3.0PGGEUXM based on android 9, the only thing I liked about android 10 was the dynamic MAC address but it didn't compensate the high battery drain from the Android System, with up to 9-10 hours of CPU usage and about 6-6:30 hours of Screen-on time. I will test how many hours of SOT I have now.
