hello All,
i have a big problem with the vibrator( for call , sms, alarm,..).
when i activated it , it doesn't work all the time (more often it doesn't).
i'm in 1.72 version, but in the 1.32 i have the same behaviour.
is there someone have the same problem ?
is there a way to diagnostic if the problem is hardware or software ??

You mean vibration right
Have you checked vibration under sound settings?
I had no problems mate...

yes, i checked , uncheked in system setting , in handcent parameter and touchdown (mail).
i reboot many times but the problem still..
your vibrator doesnt work? maybe you burned it up by over using it
maybye the batteries have no more power

Hi,
I'm from Belgium and together with some friends we bought 3 QTEK 9090 .
They all seem to have te same problem ...
Occasionally, when answering the phone ,no sound is transmitted.
I can't hear the caller and the caller can't hear me.
Does anyone has the same problem ?
Is there a solution for this annoying problem.
We already tried with other simcards from other providers but that didn't help.
Rom version is 1.22 WWE

This problem is widely known, and no fix has been successful. You must reset your phone when this happens. Apparently, turning on and off bluetooth fixes it as well.
Even the 1.40 Rom still has this issue.

What I don't understand is that if the problem is known, why isn't there a solution coming from QTEK ?
They must be aware of this problem also.

Hmmm, since I installed Radio ROM 1.10 I no longer have this problem (even with 1.40 ROM).
As soon as I have some time , I will try it out .

Um... i don't think that's vaild. I had the no sound problem with all my roms.. then... I installed 1.40... VOLA.. the phone functions again.. no "no sound" problem.... I was a happy camper for 2 weeks.... then... then.... then... 2 weeks later.. the problem came back... it came back and now it happens 2 twice a day.. just like before.
I strongy believe that is has somthing to do with the Bluetooth and the handfree profile .. cos.. when the no sound thing happens.. when u try to move the volume key up or down... there is minor sound coming from the phone speaker. Then.. when your phone is normal operation.. try using your Bluetooth handfree.. make a call... when the bluetooth headset is working normally, try picking up your phone and try to move the volume key.. the same patterns of sound comes from the phone's speaker...

My conclusion is that even if your Bluetooth isn't on, when a phone calls come in, the phone automaticy switch to the bluetooth headset profile and disable the speaker and mic on the unit.
When I got a diamond after 3 days,I found it can't make any sound,no ring,no voice.But after I reset it,it work normally.
This problem happened every day,and i can't know when it will go wrong,so I have missed much important call.
I have flash hdsl 1.90,1.40,Radio 1.00.25.03,1.00.25.05,1.00.25.07,and all roms i can get.But it get this failure as of old.I have no any idea.
The reason why i think it is a software trouble is,after i reset it or i use media player play a Mp3 file,it will work normally for a while,and mute again after a one or two hours.
Are there some meet the same problem like my diamond?If anyone know fix it, pls tell me ,Thanks a lot.

i have a rhodium with windows mobile 6.1 stock rom.
Does anyone know how i can change the volume of the microphone for telephone calls?
I have the strange problem that people complain that they can't hear me very loud. When i reflash (hard reset doen't work all the time) the microphone volume is ok again.
Can someone please help me with this problem?

Does your ROM have a setting for automatic gain control? That adjusts the mike based on ambient noise. On some of my former phones I've had to turn it off or the device lowers the mike sensitivity.

i'v got same problem whit my phone when i flashed nand cm7 on it.
is'nt it related to the rom?
is it possible that the flashing changes the other settings of radio or ...
the microphone is working but volume is low and i have to yelling on it to talk with people!

Most volume issues are related to the rom.
Flashing the rom can change the radio, but may not. It will tell you what gets changed if you watch the screen during the flashing.
Microphones do fail. If all roms are having the same issue then you probably have a hardware issue.
Flash back to stock. Then if you are not having issues try asking for help in the thread for the rom you want to flash. If you are still having issues then it is 99% chance that it is a hardware issue.

My gf's phone (completely different device) had a similar issue, and it was definitely not software. I looked, the mic port was clogged with whoknowswhat. Took a pin and carefully picked the stuff out. Mic works great now

I have a problem with my Omnia7: the vibration has stopped working suddenly! I don't understand why... feed on soft buttons don't work too!
I thought it was a problem with homebrew apps ( I've Chevron unlock ) and I tried to reset but nothing has changed ... help!

Happened to my Samsung i617.
Whenever something like this happens, why don't people return the phone to the store?
I almost always get a new phone or credit towards a new phone or some sort of compensation. Vibrate isn't something the average consumer can break on their own after all.

What do you mean by "away" and "interrupts"? Some Bluetooth connections just aren't that great, and they degrade over a short distance.
Excuse, my english is very rusty.
It means, since this version, the Bluetooth connection breaks off always.
When I call in the car, then I can not longer hear the partner after a few minutes and after a further aprox 5 seconds then terminates the call. If I repeat the call, then it stops after a shorter time. the same calls work perfectly without Bluetooth.

I think you're a little problem with kernel, but a lot of time ICS and Jellybean have this problem, you should to flash again Icecoldsandwich but firts perfom a fullwipe. I should try this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1460820

Bluetooth works now.
But I miss in this version two things. In the IceColdSandwich before, I could change the icon for the battery and I was able to enter a pattern (like a matrix) for the screen lock.
The button for this patter is diabled and I don't know, how I can enable this.
Can you help me?

when I not install an exchange server email account, then I can use the pattern for screen lock. When I install my exchange email, then I can not enable pattern for this. It is a policy from my exchange administrator, but the normaly IceColdSandwich befor ignored this. In IceColdSandwich befor, I could use this pattern forscreen lock yet.
Can anybody help me to enable pattern for screen lock like IceColdSandwich?

Now I would like change the battery symbol, but not a second symbol. It is to small.

Hi Hans,
now i don't remember how to fix your problem on aospx,becouse now i use a different rom, but if you have a bit of time you should try jellytime r29, it's very fast and with new Kang Bang kernel you can fix the headset button too, no bug, very good work!!!! Please hit THANKS IF I HELP YOU!!!
