note 10+ 5G Odin to U1 question - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

I'm trying to decide if I want the 5G or the regular note 10+ and was wondering if you can Odin the regular U1 firmware for the note 10+ on the 5G version. Any insight will be appreciated

Hi,
While I don't have the thread to reference on hand, I read that 5G variants cannot be flashed with U1 Firmware. I was (am) in the same position as you, so this information made me go with the regular Note 10+ and not with the 5G variant.

Of course not you cannot do that. Both versions are different hardware with different software versions 975x (Note 10+) and 976x (Note 10+ 5G).

Note 10 plus 4g vs 5g international version

Hello all, I was planning on getting the Note 10 plus international to use on ATT in the US. The reason being is because the Exynos has support for rooting and custom roms. My question is if i were to purchase the international version, what would be the difference between the 5G and regular 4G? Would the 5G work in the US? Regular bands seems identical on both devices, but would the 5g also work once they are available?
Thank you in advance
I currently have the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F/DS Dual SIM. It been working great for the past couple of years.

This is up to you if you want too future proof the device with getting 5h or not so? I recall 5g will be rolling out slowly in the US.
Thats the idea, but will it actually work? On att in the US if I purchase the international 5g model?
Ps. Is the snapdragon versions still an issue to install custom roms?
I don't know if it's important for you, but the 5g model is single sim only. Dual sim is only available on the 4g version.
Had the dual sim for my note 8 because of availability, but I do not have a need for the dual sim. Just was curious as to the band compatibility of 5g because i cant find anywhere where it states that the european 5g is the same as us 5g

Note 10+ 5G Google Camera?

OMG, I just upgrade from my Qualcomm Note 10+ to the 5G version, and there is NO Gcam that will start at least on the phone. No version, nada.
I just hope, maybe there is something that I miss? 5G is the new Exynos sooooo... any help? Someone? Please.... :crying:

Switching OS from sm-n975u to sm-n976u

I have the note 10+ US version and want to put on the note 10+ 5g OS or the N976U OS. Can it work without the phone being bricked?
I really need some help here if you can.
Not possible. What is the gain even if it was? You won't get 5g running on a 4g phone..

Simple answer is no... here is why, it's to my understanding that the V variant of the N10+5g has limited capabilities on the 5g network because it was a Verizon specific model. if you live in the US then you'll want the 976U version for best Universal 5G coverage on the Note 10 plus

While I may be mistaken, I don't think so. The Verizon variant lacks Superpartition which is present on the Tmo version.

Change Fold 5g Firmware

Hello guys, I live in Europe and I own the Korean Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G version SM-F907N and I was wondering if it's possible to flash the SM-F907B (global 5G) firmware on it. Basically they have the same chip and modems so do you think that it will work?
The software updates are much slower using the Korean firmware.
Me too
