Hi guys hope you can help,
I recently got a MI Band and tried different versions of the apps but could only sync it once with a very old version (think 1.0.xx) but the step counter got stuck and the sleep data was not recognized (NOTE: Even though i could connect and sms/call notifications worked aswell)
so i tried different versions of the app but could not sync it with the newer versions...
My phone is a THL T11 (BLE supported) and the band works perfectly with"gliderun" (its an open beta app which works with the band but only got step counter yet , but this prooves that my band is working)
is it only the app which isnt working probably with my device?
what can i do about it?
is it possibly to pair it with a tablet, i got a e-Ceros revolution but couldnt paired it with my band
Thanks for help:good:

I read elsewhere that mi band unlock function doesn't work with phones that are not xiaomi. Is that true?

Sorry, can't comment on that, I don't use pin/pattern locking. Not gonna start now either

I use the Mi Band with OnePlus X. Everything works as expected including the smart unlock function. So just go for it. Both are the best products at there prices.
Work's good

I have the Mi Band and i used it with MIUI ROM on my old phone. And on my OPX with OOS, FLYME, CM 12.1 and H2OS. On OPX any ROM I could not make app notifs vibration to work. It counts steps, sleep, vibrates when you get a call and vibrates for alarm it you set it in the app. Smart lock worked i think only on CM. Maybe works in OOS too. But on the previous phone on MIUI the smart unlock was muuuch better. I had to get the band close to the phone to unlock it (under 10cm maybe less).
So in conclusion it works fine but when we get MIUI for OPX it will be slightly better.
Cheers!
Unlock feature with bluetooth device is the feature of the new Android itself. It's called Smart lock and it should have every android smartphone with Lollipop or higher .-)
You have to use a pin or code and after you can use smart lock ,for notification you have to launch the app and you don't have to kill it (sorry for my bed english ?)

Hi,
How did you set the mi band to unlock the phone? My band is connected, I can view info, get vibrations on call, etc. I have a pattern lock. When I go the smart lock section, I get a pattern lock which I unlock using the set pattern. After that I tap on Trusted devices, then Add trusted device but the mi band doesn't show up in the list. Am I doing it the correct way?

Well I had problem adding the Mi band to trusted devices to use the smart unlock feature.
This trick (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXiOdXLrV_8 ), or rather a version of it which is described in one of the comments, did it for me.
1. Try pairing it with the bluetooth.
2. If it fails to detect the band, then put the phone in aeroplane mode.
3. Switch on bluetooth and try connecting the band.
4. If it gets connected, fine. Otherwise, come out of the aeroplane mode.
5. Turn bluetooth off. Turn it on again after a 20 seconds.
6. Try connecting now.
7. If it works, fine. Otherwise repeat from Step 2. OR Try other variations.
Hope it helps.
My wife uses her OPX with MI band . I recommend this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zdenekhorak.mibandtools
vastly better than the bogstandard one.
I have a Redmi note 8T and works like to know if there is a way to activate the call recorder feature on my phone without unlocking/rooting it or installing another ROM ?
The app is available on my phone but I believe that it is disabled due to EU laws.

well without unlocking the only other option you have is to search for some call recording apps on play store...good luck
Hi, I until recently I had Xiaomi Note 6 Pro, great phone and it was the global version I believe, one of the many thing I liked was the fact that it had Call recorder built in, and meant that I could record all my phone calls in and out and set to automatically record, I found this very useful as my hearing is not the best and it enabled me to play back the call so that I could clarify the conversation.
I now own Mi 10T lite, great phone and I am mostly pleased with it, but I can't record my calls, I purchased it via Xiaomi Uk (I am in the UK) I read somewhere that the EU had banned the recording of calls (or something like that)
So has anyone got any Ideas how I can get this phone to record calls, I don't want to root the phone or load any other Roms, I am wishing to keep the phone as it was delivered, happy to use an app, providing it can be set to record all.
Your help would be great, Thanks

Hi Graham, I have Mi 10T lite 5g on Three in UK. Not rooted. I am using Cube ACR free version, installed using defaults and it works well. It also manages to link the calling number to my contacts (with permission). The caller is a bit quieter than my side of conversation but loud enough when replaying. I used Cube on my last 3 Xiaomi phones, one rooted two not rooted. It worked on all three.

Thank you for the info, I will give it a try, and it is good to hear you have it working well with the M10T Lite, I really liked the way the Xiaomi Note 6 pro, had it integrated in the system, everything about it was simple, but I will give the Cube ACR a try thanks.
I would still be interested to hear what other people may be using as well, thanks
Hello All,
It's been a while since I've been on XDA, and I recently upgraded from a Redmi Note 6 Pro to a Redmi Note 9T to take advantage of 5G.
So far I'm loving the phone, but there is one peculiarity, and that's noted in the subject. It seems to have appeared right after I issued the dialer code, *#*#86583#*#*, to enable VoLTE on my phone, which is a global model on which VoLTE comes disabled by default.
I cannot understand why Security is constantly flagging Data Roaming when it is already set to Never. I have been ignoring the message, but if there is a solution to make it stop I'd love to hear it. This is one I just have not had any success finding any good information on. I've never been in a situation where international data roaming could have come into play, and yet this warning persists.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
