i installed lineage 16 and i saw there is black screen issue. so i downgrade version to 15.1 and i still seeing black screen issue.
lemme explain black screen
all turns full black no background lightning, when i open screen turns black, only way to get rid of is lock screen and open screen. its really annoying.
also i noticed something. when black screen ups back button home button and menu button lights become on.

when i press the power button to sleep and i try to woke up the jtc the screen stays black but the phone work normaly but the screen black why ?
Because it's broken. There are quite a few threads about this.
I just flashed the stable version CM9.1.0 which i downloaded from cm website, i realize that the lock screen is kind of bugged... or it might be the home screen i don't know. even i turn on the screen, there's no lock screen at all and it just go straight to home screen. after a little while, everything on the home screen will disappear... but if i touch and hold the home screen, the wallpaper menu will pop up and everything on the home screen will come back out again. anyone having this problem???
I have a SM T520, 10.1 Tab Pro. I started having an issue with screen waking up.. When I tried to wake the screen up, buttons lit up. but screen stays dark, no matter what I do, I reset to default settings, I installed Cyanogenmod 12.1, whatever I do same result. Somebody says it is hardware failure. but when I reboot the screen is visible, it stays visible until OS darkens it, once darkened, the only way it comes alive is if tablet is rebooted.

I have a moto g5s xt1792 after I unbrick trying to install lineage, almost everything is working the problem is the lock screen, after a while the screen goes black, it lights up (with the black screen) I can unlock the screen but if it is just the pin or the pattern the screen remains black after unlocking the screen, if it is with the fingerprint it goes back to normal and I can see things.
there is another problem related to the sensor, the screen does not light up when i pick up the cell phone i have to press the power button for the screen to light up
the stockrom I installed is this one

and then I reinstalled this one because I noticed the screen lock problem but it continues

I noticed something too, the black screen disappears after I keep pressing the power button to light up the screen a few times and then the screen shows the screen lock

I dont know what happen to my phone, the screen stoped working,
The screen is cracked at the bottom, no problem with that until now.
If i try to boot the phone, for a split second, you can see the screen turning on and a horizontal line.
Any ideias how to fix it?
Replace screen?
