Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S4 T-mobile SGH-M919 and it's Android 4.4.4 from Samsung (Original ROM) right now. I also have a Moto 360 Running the latest Android Wear 4.4w.2.
I encountered a serious bug.
So when my S4 is paired to my Moto 360, and if I am in a phone call, after a few mins (usually after 5 mins in), the sound would suddenly disappear. The other party whom I'm talking to can still hear me but I hear nothing. Complete silence.
When the sound goes off, I can just hang up and redial and then the call would be fine for a few mins before the same issue happens again. This is annoying.
I'm not sure if anyone has ever encountered this. I tried googling this and it seems no one has experienced the same issue with the same devices (Galaxy S4 T-mo and Moto 360). I've read that some people had similar issues with other bluetooth devices and their phones (or cars) and some say that it has something to do with my phone being connected with another device (in my case, the Moto 360) via bluetooth. I think when my Bluetooth is off, there is no issue at all.
If any of you has the same devices (Galaxy S4 T-mobile and Moto 360) and preferably the same firmware versions installed in both devices, give this a try. Simply connect your phone to your smartwatch and make a phone call. Try to wait for about 5-7mins into the call and see if if you experience this issue as well.
Is there a fix or workaround for this? This is ridiculously stupid. I should be able to make calls while my phone is connected to my Moto 360 as well.
Hi there,
I am using the elephone p8000 and would like to use a notification watch.
Right now I have the mi band which is good, but a bit ugly and not able to show the time.
That's why I was looking for a watch that would vibrate when a call was incoming.
My first try was the cogito watch classic but apparently the Bluetooth didn't work good together.
Now I am about to order the Elephone w2.
Does anyone have any experience with that combo or has another idea for a rather simple notification watch that is working with this phone?
Thanks in advance
I have a martian smart watch this seems to work fine with the p8000

Thx for the feedback. I hope that there is no problem with watches I'm general then and that the w2 will work.
No loudspeaked

Oh wtf?
Hi,
I have that watch now and am more or less happy with it. More because it seems to be working, less because it really lacks the vibration on new notifications for me.
That is all I'd need from a "smart" / notification watch, but I don't get it in the w2.
And as the bluetooth apparently is really bad and my last other watch wasn't working, I won't check other watches on the P8000 anymore and wait unitl I have another phone.

I use a Huawei watch with P8000 and it works perfectly.
Oh, would you mind telling which one exactly?

There is only 1 Huawei watch. Different cases/straps but internal hardware is same throughout. Had a LG Watch R before and this also worked. No problems using watch for notifications and car Bluetooth for calls simultaneously.
Ok thx
I've been using a Huawei Honor Band Zero for months. In the beginning it didn't work with the P8000 but did ok with other phones. It was solved after Huawei released the first firmware upgrade (there have been around 6 more updates after the first one). No problems with calls, since the Honor Band Zero doesn't have a microphone and only allows you to reject calls, and not answer them. It's more like a Mi Band but with wristwatch functions and appearance
Can you tell something about that watch? Is it good with vibrations when receiving also WhatsApp and so on?
Hi, right more I have a Moto 360 2nd gen and it works like a charm. Just for reference if somebody is looking into that thread
Ive been hearing that if you dont use a samsung phone, the watches will not be able to use all of the features. Im looking at the new Galaxy watch or the older s3 frontier.
Everything normal. Sometimes do not show "aswer icon" on watch, but not all time. Multiple Bluetooth devices now works.
Incoming call notification from WhatsApp, skype, viber still not work, but this issue was with Samsung phone too.
I'm thinking of picking up a GT2 or MagicWatch2 to use primarily with my iPhone. However, I would like to be able to install custom faces using the guides posted here and to do that I know that I will need to use my spare Android phone. My question is this: if I initially pair the GT2 with my Android phone and download watch faces to the device, will those faces still be there if I later unpair from the Android phone and pair with the iPhone.
I know that with Android Wear and Tizen, pairing with a new device wipes the watch clean. But I'm unsure if this is the same with Huawei's Lite OS.
Once you uploaded the watch faces to your GT2 watch they will stay there even if your watch is not connected to a smartphone. You can switch the watch faces directly from your watch.
Hello.
I have a problem as in the title of the post.
I often forget my phone - Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro with the latest Miui and Android 13 - and there is no sound on the watch when it loses the bluetooth connection, so I don't notice the lack of the phone.
I had no problem with this with an old Amazfit watch.
The connection to Huawei Health is still active and the 'bluetooth disconnection reminder' option is enabled.
Is it normal? Only the disconnection message is visible.
