Is there a way to root my Exynos Note10+ and I still can use HD Netflix, Knox + Samsung Pay?
Thank you in advance!
Take a look in the section of roms kernels and development, Dr Ketan there explains what works and what not, samsung pay will not for sure

Hello! This is my first post on this site, and I will probably stay here for longer. Maybe this has been asked a load of times or it's in the wrong section, but if so, I'm sorry about that. I've got a few questions.
1. Is it worth trashing the warranty? I heard that you can flash the stock ROM so nobody will know you fiddled with the tablet, but I'm not sure about that.
2. How exactly can I root? There are guides around the Internet, but I thought asking here is the best solution.
3. Where to get the stock ROM?
Thanks for answering my questions.

Hi
So many people have rooted their tablets trashing the warranty, so it is a personal choice. But actually rooting has many advantages like multiwindow function, using Titanium backup, debloating many useless applications, etc..
Regarding how to root your device here is a detailed guide for p-601 (3G+wifi version):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2671102
Regarding how to get a stock rom for your tablet, the best site is sammobile
www.sammobile.com
search inside it for the model of your tablet: p-600, p-601, or p-605 then choose the best rom for your tablet.
Also you can find custom pre-rooted rom here:

Hello there,
I'm new to this forum, also i'm totally new to 'rooting'.
I want to root my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7105, 4.3 jelly)
I've searched around the web for quite some time now. I've read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933542, but i still have a question about it.
My phone:
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 4G
Modelnummer: GT-7105
Android-version 4.3
Baseband-version N7105XXUEMK2
In the topic of Chainfire's post of the CF-Auto-Root says GT-7105 is suitable for the CF-Auto-Root. But i'm still unsure about the Baseband-version, does the baseband-version matter?, if not is my phone then suitable for the CF-Auto Root?
(Why am i unsure about the Baseband-version; well that is because if i search on the web "GT-N7105 how to root", i find many with different baseband-versions so thats why it made me make this thread, sorry if it was a totaly useless thread and if the answer was 100% clear. But i kinda wanted to be sure before i start following the steps of CF-Auto-Root)
Hope any of you can help me with that question.
Bump
I think baseband version doesn't matter, but CF-auto root won't work anyway as there's Knox and it will block the superuser app.
Best if You change kernel (with CWM) and flash some knox free ROM.

Dylanaw,
If it helps, I flashed my GT-7105 a number of times this week to overcome an issue with my email and a poxy security feature (in the loosest of terms). Whilst I have zero affinity to one ROM or another I have eventually settled on the OMNI 4.4 ROM that you will find on the front page of the GT-7105 development page. Why? Easy really, as it is the clearest ROM in terms of steps to take and what to do :good: especially for newbs. So, if you really want to install a custom ROM then this is a good one to start with! Regards the baseband question, on this ROM my machine is displaying a baseband-version of N7105XXUMJ9.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for your answers,

Sent from galaxy n7105
sorry for noob-question,
i read a lot on google, xda and othe forums about the knox bootloader.
Atm i have a s3 mini (look at my sig), and know something about rooting, flashing, oc, uv, ...
At the s3 mini you can reset the cbc with triangle away, but on the s4 mini it doesn´t work.
After flashing a custom ROM the knox counter will be on 0x1.
Is there a way to reset it to 0x0 or is it (like it is said on many threads on google) hardware based and not reversible?
I wanna know that because the next 5 or 6 weeks i will get a s4 mini and i collected all the stuff that i need (ROMs, GApps, kernels, recoverys, bootanimations, ...:laugh to root it...
thx for your help

I cannot remember the last phone I rooted and modded... because I been on a Samsung kick for a while... and I thought it was not really possible with knox etc?
So for starters, can we root a bell note 7? Second, can we flash custom roms? Third, is there such thing as a pure rom, that eliminates all samsung crapware? I will search and look around, but I find these forums very confusing... and american based, so I want to be crystal clear in what I want to do
Root
Custom Roms
Pure android/Nougat?
Thanks will be giving,
root = Yes
Custom ROMs = No
Pure ROM = No
