I am using T-mobile Touch Pro 2.
I am quite satisfied with this device except for one problem.
Sometimes (once a day or every other day?) when I turn the device on, the micro sd card is not detectable. The card is in the slot, but the device just cannot find it. (It shows like there is no sd card!)
When I reboot the device or take the micro sd card off and insert again, the device recognize it which makes me very annoyed.
Anyone who has the same problem and the solution?
Many thanks in advance.
FYI, I am using Transcend 8GB micro sd card (class 6.)
The only time I have something like this issue is when I connect the phone to the PC as an external drive, which is by design. Unplugging the phone sets it right again.
Change your MicroSD to SanDisk and you wont have any problems. I have a class 2 16GB and I dont have any problems. If you're worry about the performance, it's pretty fast. using the phone as removable drive it writes at just under 4mb/s, using a usb adapter and the write speed sustains at 8-10mb/s which out performs minimum class 6 standard. All the test was done on a 16gb class 2 with 10gb of badly fragmented files already on the card and writing another 5.5GB into the card. I havent tested read speed but it's faster than write speed.

I had the same problem when i first got my sprint pro 2. All you have to do to fix is... using any card reader, copy all the files on your micro sd card to a new folder on your computer. then format the card to fat32. once formatted copy all of your files back onto the card. pop it back in and you should be good to go.. after doing this to mine, my 16g card hasn't disappeared once.

Thanks a lot!
I will do what you said right away. Hope it will solve the problem
So I bought SanDisk 32GB Mobile Ultra Micro SD (SDHC) Card - Class 10 UHS-1 and everything was working fine until 3-4 days ago.
Now whenever I remove it (unmounting it manually first) and put it back in, the phone doesn't detect it. If I restart with the card in, it detects it. Also the card unmounts very often while in the phone, especially after waking it up from sleep.
I tried 2 other cards (8GB and 16GB) - no problem - I put them in and the phone instantly detects them.
The 32GB card is working just fine on my computer and on Galaxy S I9000. I even ran ChkFlsh.exe on in from my PC = no problem.
Then I restored a backup through CWM Recovery when everything was working fine = still doesn't detect it after remove/insert again. Only after a restart it will detect it. I tried different kernels too. It even shows Damaged SD Card now and then.
What is wrong?
Try to format ur sd card to fat32 format...... CWM not work well with exfat......
Sandisk cards have lifetime warranty
Found this thread - SD Card Unexpectedly Removed
It turns out there is some problem with some SanDisk cards so I'm returning mine and getting another one (Adata).
G3 rooted on VS98510B
128gb Lexar UHS-1 microsd 633x,,, the blue and black card.
Phone refuses to recognize card is inserted. I have searched other similar issues and tried solutions,,,,nothing helped.
Tried card formatted from factory Xfat, formatted to NTFS, formatted to Fat32, used SDFormatter back to Xfat..... card was checked for fake capacity using H2TestW.
Card works perfectly in PCs and camera.
Same card in 64gb version recognized immediately,,, just like my other cards.
Card is not seen when attaching phone to PC either.
Phone refuses to even see the card. (so mount option is not available)
Battery pull and restart = nothing
Do not have someone elses phone to try it in.
This is the only 128gb card I have tried,, don't have another one.

guiformat didn't help.
I have a 128 gb Sandisk Extreme micro sd card which I used for nearly 3 months. Yesterday it stopped working all of a sudden and neither my HTC 10 nor my PC recognizes the sd card anymore. I cannot see what's inside the card and cannot format it.
Is there a way to recover the sd card?
Any help would be appreciated
Hi guys.
I'm having issue with mem.card.
When I turn on tablet very often it doesn't recognise the card so I need to reboot the tablet and memory card is recognised.
I tried same card but 64 GB model same class 10 and no issues. Both cards from Kingston.
So what could cause this and how to resolve it?
