I have a 128 gb Sandisk Extreme micro sd card which I used for nearly 3 months. Yesterday it stopped working all of a sudden and neither my HTC 10 nor my PC recognizes the sd card anymore. I cannot see what's inside the card and cannot format it.
Is there a way to recover the sd card?
Any help would be appreciated

I am using T-mobile Touch Pro 2.
I am quite satisfied with this device except for one problem.
Sometimes (once a day or every other day?) when I turn the device on, the micro sd card is not detectable. The card is in the slot, but the device just cannot find it. (It shows like there is no sd card!)
When I reboot the device or take the micro sd card off and insert again, the device recognize it which makes me very annoyed.
Anyone who has the same problem and the solution?
Many thanks in advance.
FYI, I am using Transcend 8GB micro sd card (class 6.)
The only time I have something like this issue is when I connect the phone to the PC as an external drive, which is by design. Unplugging the phone sets it right again.
Change your MicroSD to SanDisk and you wont have any problems. I have a class 2 16GB and I dont have any problems. If you're worry about the performance, it's pretty fast. using the phone as removable drive it writes at just under 4mb/s, using a usb adapter and the write speed sustains at 8-10mb/s which out performs minimum class 6 standard. All the test was done on a 16gb class 2 with 10gb of badly fragmented files already on the card and writing another 5.5GB into the card. I havent tested read speed but it's faster than write speed.

I had the same problem when i first got my sprint pro 2. All you have to do to fix is... using any card reader, copy all the files on your micro sd card to a new folder on your computer. then format the card to fat32. once formatted copy all of your files back onto the card. pop it back in and you should be good to go.. after doing this to mine, my 16g card hasn't disappeared once.

I will do what you said right away. Hope it will solve the problem
So I bought SanDisk 32GB Mobile Ultra Micro SD (SDHC) Card - Class 10 UHS-1 and everything was working fine until 3-4 days ago.
Now whenever I remove it (unmounting it manually first) and put it back in, the phone doesn't detect it. If I restart with the card in, it detects it. Also the card unmounts very often while in the phone, especially after waking it up from sleep.
I tried 2 other cards (8GB and 16GB) - no problem - I put them in and the phone instantly detects them.
The 32GB card is working just fine on my computer and on Galaxy S I9000. I even ran ChkFlsh.exe on in from my PC = no problem.
Then I restored a backup through CWM Recovery when everything was working fine = still doesn't detect it after remove/insert again. Only after a restart it will detect it. I tried different kernels too. It even shows Damaged SD Card now and then.
What is wrong?
Try to format ur sd card to fat32 format...... CWM not work well with exfat......
Sandisk cards have lifetime warranty

It turns out there is some problem with some SanDisk cards so I'm returning mine and getting another one (Adata).
I have been having problems switching from a 4gb sd card to a 32gb sd card in my htc one v. The 4 gig runs perfectly fine in my phone but I need more space so I switched to the 32gb card.
The problem I am having is almost instantly after putting in the 32gb card my phone starts lagging on just about everything. Load times take longer, the phone has more graphical glitches etc. I tried formatting the card to nfts and running paragon software to use that file type. Still no hope. I also partitioned the card to 16gb and free space for the other half and still no luck really. Though I did see some improvement.
Is it just that I got a bad sd card? Note that it works with my laptop and also in my pc perfectly fine, the phone just seems to not like the card or larger file size. Has anyone else gotten a 32gb sd card to work in their htc one v?
Thanks
Derek

I have an ADATA 32gb class 10 card. I will try that
Edit: Ever since I tried partitioning the sd card with MiniTool Partition Wizard the card won't show up on my pc. The software says that it is a (Bad Disk). Note that I can use the card perfectly fine on my macbook pro and the phone also recognizes the card. If I put the card into my phone and connect with USB it works fine.
Hello! I have a 32 gb micro sd card in my note 2. One day it sayd: "your memory card was unexpectedly removed" or something like this. Now my micro sd card is not recognized by my phone, and its not even recognized by other phones and even my laptop. when i put it in my laptop its just like i didnt put nothing in it. It is doing nothing! Other micro sd cards work in my note 2. Can you help me? Do i have any chance to recover my data from that dead card?
I have Xolo Q1010i with Kitkat 4.4.2(Stock ROM with S009 update). Initially I was using class 4 8GB SD Card which was working smoothly.
Later due to higher memory need, I tried to use 16 GB class 10 SD Card (Transcend). For some time it was working smoothly. However I have seen notifications such as SD Card removed unexpectedly or SD Card is damaged and so on. The phone does not recognise the sd card later. I have to restart the phone to recognise the sd card.
Of late, I have almost 2.5GB available memory in the sd card and the issue is affecting me too frequently(atleast 10 times a day). The same card works fine on other phones(Android).
Has anybody come across this issue and has any solution?
Thanks in advance,
