I am using T-mobile Touch Pro 2.
I am quite satisfied with this device except for one problem.
Sometimes (once a day or every other day?) when I turn the device on, the micro sd card is not detectable. The card is in the slot, but the device just cannot find it. (It shows like there is no sd card!)
When I reboot the device or take the micro sd card off and insert again, the device recognize it which makes me very annoyed.
Anyone who has the same problem and the solution?
Many thanks in advance.
FYI, I am using Transcend 8GB micro sd card (class 6.)
The only time I have something like this issue is when I connect the phone to the PC as an external drive, which is by design. Unplugging the phone sets it right again.
Change your MicroSD to SanDisk and you wont have any problems. I have a class 2 16GB and I dont have any problems. If you're worry about the performance, it's pretty fast. using the phone as removable drive it writes at just under 4mb/s, using a usb adapter and the write speed sustains at 8-10mb/s which out performs minimum class 6 standard. All the test was done on a 16gb class 2 with 10gb of badly fragmented files already on the card and writing another 5.5GB into the card. I havent tested read speed but it's faster than write speed.

I had the same problem when i first got my sprint pro 2. All you have to do to fix is... using any card reader, copy all the files on your micro sd card to a new folder on your computer. then format the card to fat32. once formatted copy all of your files back onto the card. pop it back in and you should be good to go.. after doing this to mine, my 16g card hasn't disappeared once.

I'm having the same errors .Same sd card but on a N7105.Could it be that these cards are not compatible with the Galaxy notes and the sg3 because I have seen same reports on other forums?A lot of them! I also read on another forum that the cards made before December were presenting with these errors .

??Damaged sd card
Have you tried this http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=367912&page=2 ? Am gonna go ahead and try because am now suspecting the card is damaged.
Go physical
My Samsung Galaxy note 2 showed same error. But when I used sd card on my PC I could see all contents. I tried several SD cards, installing apps, changing firmware and always same result. I almost return my cellphone to seller. BUT I remembered that on PC, dirt makes some noise and generates annoying behaviors.
SO I decided to go physical.
I turned off my device
I got off battery door, battery and sd card
I used contact cleaner generously on sd reader.
I waited for about 5 minutes.
I put back sd card, battery and battery door
I turned on my device
Bingo!! My Sd card is back!!!!
I hope this can help you...

Hello, I am having the same problem.
Since yesterday after rebooting my phone, I am getting "damaged sd card". After removing the card and putting it back in, it changed to "Blank SD card or has unsupported filesystem".
Cleaning the contacts didn't help.
Any more advices on this topic? I don't have a card reader for micro sd cards nearby. Is there a way to fix the sd card using adb / filesystem / shell tools?
I have some data on the card I didn't back up yet and don't want to loose.

When SD card get corrupted, you need a PC and a SD card reader. Connect SD card, open command prompt, type “chkdsk /f /X <driver letter>:”.
If this doesn’t fix sd card you need to replace it.

All right, I bought a card reader and tried the chkdsk thing.
To my big surprise, chkdsk told me that the sd card is RAW type and therefore not usable with chkdsk.
How's that even possible? How can a SD card simply change it's type?
Can I reverse it somehow and recover the partion table? I really don't want to loose the cards content.
Any more advices on this?

I have a 128 gb Sandisk Extreme micro sd card which I used for nearly 3 months. Yesterday it stopped working all of a sudden and neither my HTC 10 nor my PC recognizes the sd card anymore. I cannot see what's inside the card and cannot format it.
Is there a way to recover the sd card?
Any help would be appreciated
